Allah knows your enemies better than you. Allah is sufficient as a helper.

Tafsir

Allah, who wrote the desires and wishes of each soul according to its own will in the address (Elestu bi Rabbikum) when we were in the realm of spirits in the former world, will surely know us better than we know ourselves. People who seem to be good to a Muslim for their own interests may be hostile to that Muslim because they are hostile to Allah. We cannot know these things. However, we can understand that people are enemies of Allah by their actions later on, and therefore we can understand that those who are enemies of Muslims are enemies of Allah by their actual actions when they have the opportunity to do so. In order to understand people's behavior towards people, we need to know the Ayat of Allah (swt) and be judged by them, so that we can understand what kind of people we are dealing with.

Allah has created human beings together as a community in such a way that they need each other and can fulfill each other's needs. If people forsake Allah for their own needs and cooperate with their enemies, or rely on them and make them their friends, they will receive a blow from their enemies when they least expect it. Both material and spiritual.

This is Allah warning His creation, O mankind! If you seek a true friend, I am sufficient for you. There is no creature who can be a friend and help mankind as much as Allah. According to the Qur'anic verses (Allah does not will injustice on the worlds) and again (Who is as faithful to His word as Allah), when people turn to Allah, who can help people as much as Allah, who makes those who want to be friends with Allah (swt) His friends. Who can help people by meeting their needs and improving their world and hereafter. So, O people! Do not make friends other than Allah, for they are all creatures of Allah and they are all mortal. Only Allah is eternal. So those who take friends other than Allah are wronging their souls. If you seek a friend, Allah is sufficient for you.

What is said in the video

Surah An-Nisa, verse 45: Allah knows your enemies better than you. And Allah is sufficient as a true friend. What

an excellent Mawla. What an excellent support, what an excellent companion, He says. Yes. As a friend Allah is enough. And what does the Prophet say? In the verse: Even if the whole world united and turned its back on you, say: Allah, Owner of the heavens (?) and of the great Throne, is enough for me, doesn't it say?

Yes.

In the first barzakh, while in the world of spirits, at the address 'Alastu bi Rabbikum', Allah, who wrote for every spirit its wish and desire, according to its own will, as its destiny, will of course know us better than we do. What does He say? Allah knows your enemies better than you.

Of course Allah the Creator will know our enemies better than we do. The one who smiles to my face, who flutters around me like a moth, whether that person is my friend or not, can I know it as well as Allah does? Allah Almighty, at that 'Qalu Bala', at that address 'Alastu bi Rabbikum', when He said 'I am your Lord', gave every person their wish and desire, their will, as their destiny; Allah, who says there is not a single living being until the Day of Judgement, not a single living being to come of which We do not know what it will not do, of course knows our enemies better than we do.

People who look good to a Muslim for their own interests may out of their enmity to Allah become enemies of that Muslim too. We cannot know this; only through the deeds people do later do we understand that those people are enemies of Allah, and that those hostile to Muslims are so, through the actual deeds they did with the opportunities that came into their hands. Look, this person was fluttering around us like a moth. So this person was looking for a chance to shed our blood, we say. In the Cyprus operation too, there was the greengrocer who was the butcher's neighbour for 40 years. The greengrocer? Yes.

The butcher (?) says: I have been waiting for this moment for 40 years. He kills the greengrocer who was his neighbour for 40 years. Yes. So our Lord knows us better than we do.

For us to understand how people behave towards people, we need to know the verses of Allah Almighty and judge by them, so that we can understand what kind of person the one before us is. Because the verses of the Quran are a radar for people. Yes. Allah created people together as societies, in a way that they need one another and can make up for each other's shortcomings. Every person is lacking. Every single person needs another person. Every single person. I am the baker and I make bread, I feed you bread. So that I can make bread, another one will sow the wheat in the field, another will produce (?) at the mill, another will grow his tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, another will build your house, yet another will lay the water pipes of your house, yet another will lay its electrics.

We all need one another. Yes.

For us to understand how people behave towards people, we need to know the verses of Allah Almighty and judge by them, so that we can understand what kind of person the one before us is. Allah created people, needing one another, (?) together as societies, able to make up for each other's shortcomings. If people leave Allah for their own needs and cooperate with their own enemies or lean their back on him and take him as a friend, then at a moment they never expected they take a blow from the enemy they were attached to. Be it material, be it spiritual. Yes. Is there a verse? Of course there is.

The verses' counterparts. Do not take them as friends, He says. This is the verse. Do not take them as friends. Everything we talk about is already the counterpart of verses.

So what does Allah say, warning the people He created? O people! If you seek a true friend, I am sufficient for you, He says. Being able to bind yourself to Allah from the heart.

Just as you are loyally attached to your mother and father who raised you and love them, just as you would give your life for them, although the origin of all spirits is from the Prophet, the Companions would say this: May my mother and father be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah, they would say. Those Companions who would give their lives for their mother and father, who would sacrifice their mother and father for the Prophet; in this case, the person who surrenders with his whole being to Allah, the Owner of the worlds, the person who surrenders to Allah as his trustee, the person who tries from the heart to do what He says, the person who finds peace and is with his Lord, that person becomes the sultan of this world.

Yes.

O people! If you seek a true friend, I am sufficient for you, He says. Being with the Sultan of these worlds, leaning on Him, taking Him as trustee.

One of them says this. He says: O my Allah! Everyone has a 'kes', I have no 'kes' at all; O 'kes' of all 'kes', be my 'kes', he says. That is, my Allah, he says, everyone in this world has a mother, a father, an uncle, another uncle, a relative; that is, 'kes' means relative. I have no (?), he says, no such relative in this world. You, as the Owner of all of them, take me as Yours, and let me, he says, lean my back on You, and You be my relative, that is, my close one, he says. That is: Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal-wakil, ni'mal-mawla wa ni'man-nasir. Yes.

So: O people! If you seek a true friend, I am sufficient for you, He says. There is no created being who could be such a friend to people and help people as Allah does. Because Allah is the Owner of the worlds. Because Allah created man so that His Being would be known, and so He took man as His addressee, gave him from His spirit (?). He created man as the mirror of His Being. In that case, which created being can love man as much as the Creator? Can be as close to him? Is that possible? Yes, Allah is the One who creates from nothing, and He created man, knowing His Being, to hold him as His addressee.

Allah does not wish injustice for the worlds. And again, according to the verses 'Who is truer to His word than Allah?', when people turn to Allah, who, other than Allah, who takes those who want to be friends with Allah Almighty as His friends, can help man? Is that possible? Yes, as a remedy for people's needs He can build up their world and their hereafter. So, O people, do not take friends other than Allah.

Because they are all Allah's creations and all of them are mortal. Only Allah is everlasting. So those who take friends other than Allah wrong their own nafs. If you seek a friend, Allah is sufficient for you.

So Allah, warning the people He created, says: O people, if you seek a true friend, I am sufficient for you. There is no created being who could be such a friend to people and help people as Allah does. Allah is the One who creates from nothing, and He created man, knowing His Being, to hold him as His addressee. Allah does not wish injustice for the worlds. And again, who is truer to His word than Allah? According to the verses, when people turn to Allah, who other than Allah, who takes as friends those who want to be friends with Allah Almighty, can help man? As a remedy for people's needs He can build up their world and their hereafter.

So, O people, do not take friends other than Allah. Because they are all Allah's creations and all of them are mortal. Only Allah is everlasting. So those who take friends other than Allah wrong their own nafs. If you seek a friend, Allah is sufficient for you.
