Translation

But there is no (accepted) repentance for those who keep doing evil deeds and when death comes upon them, they say (I have repented), and for those who die as disbelievers. There is a severe punishment prepared for them.

Tafsir

If a person does not think about why he came to this world, what is his duty, what is his responsibility, spends his life eating and drinking and enjoying himself, does not recognize Allah and the Book, denies the Prophets, continues his life in a state of heedlessness, and finally when death comes to him he says, "I have repented now", his repentance will not be accepted. Just as Pharaoh, drowning in the Red Sea, said, 'I now believe in the Lord of Moses.

Why does Allah not accept their repentance? They rebelled against Allah and disbelieved when He said, "I am your Lord" in the address Elestu bi Rabbikum. Allah made a covenant with them one by one. Allah, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted. In other words, We made a covenant with you before you and gave you your desires and wishes as your destiny. In another verse, Allah (swt) says, "If We were to send you back to this world not once but several times, you would still commit the same deed". Therefore, if a person whose destiny has been written for him has made a covenant to disbelieve in Allah, his repentance at the time of death is not valid. Because his soul is rebellious and rebellious against Allah, such a person's soul will not be satisfied and he will only deceive his own soul.

People who spend their lives in rebellion in this way will go the way of those who disobeyed Allah and did not recognize Allah and His Messenger, that is, they will go as disbelievers. For them there is no repentance that will be accepted. Paradise and hell have been created for those who obey Allah and those who do not. Each person, within his own will, in proportion to the covenant he has made with Allah (swt), will be tested in the life of this world and leave.

For such people there is a painful torment. If man forgets the purpose for which he was created, denies his Creator, yet takes all the blessings given to him by his Lord, takes advantage of them, uses them, eats and drinks them, and does not give thanks even once, as everything has a recompense, the recompense for this is eternal Hell. There will be a painful torment for mankind and an eternal life of torment. O man! The life of this world is a booty and a treasure. This should be put to good use.

What is said in the video

Surah An-Nisa, verse 18. But for those who keep doing evil deeds until, when death comes to one of them, he says, now I repent, and for those who die as unbelievers, there is no repentance to be accepted. For them a painful punishment has been prepared. Do you see? For those who die as unbelievers. That is, when the soul reaches the throat, the door of repentance closes, and when those realms appear, saying, now I repent, will not benefit you. I gave the example a moment ago, like Pharaoh. Yes. Man does not think, why did he come to the world? What are his duties? What is his responsibility? He spends his life eating, drinking and enjoying himself.

He recognizes neither Allah nor the Book. He denies the prophets. He goes on living in heedlessness. Finally, when death comes to him, if he says, now I repent, their repentance is not accepted. Just like Pharaoh, while drowning in the Red Sea, saying, now I believe in the Lord of Moses, his saying so. Illallah. We have written those here too. Yes. The words will confirm each other anyway. Why does Allah not accept their repentance? Isn't Allah the Accepter of repentance? Look what it says. But for those who keep doing evil deeds until, when death comes to one of them, it says. When death comes.

Allah Almighty does not say, I will not accept your repentance while you are alive. That is, when that door of repentance closes, what does it say right after? Sir, for those who die as unbelievers, it says. Look. Illallah. Now the doors of repentance are closed, and, now I repent. No more. It is over.

Why does Allah not accept their repentance? At the address 'Am I not your Lord?', when He said I am your Lord, these rebelled against Allah and denied. And Allah made a covenant with them one by one. Allah, who is free from deficient attributes, in His verse, Surah Al-A'raf, verse 173, 173: Or, so that you would not say, our fathers before us, our fathers associated partners with Allah. We were a generation that came after them. We followed in their footsteps. Will You destroy us because of those who wanted falsehood? For that We did so, He says. Yes, what did He do? We made a covenant, He says, we made a covenant; man, unaware of the covenant, man who ties everything to the world, what does he understand from Allah's verse, what does he understand from these verses?

That is, with you, at the beginning too, we made a covenant; we gave you your desires and wishes as your destiny. In a verse Allah Almighty says: if We sent you to the world not once but several times more, you would again do the same thing. He decrees. Why? I died. In the hereafter I knew Allah. I went as an unbeliever, (?), I knew Allah. My knowing Allah does not mean knowing Allah. Why? I had already given Him my character as a denier. So that I would not know Him. I say it only to deceive. What does it say in the verse? If only they had known Me here. Look. If only they had known here. If only they had known that My punishment is severe, says Allah Almighty.

If only they had known that My punishment is severe.

Well, in this case, did these people know Allah?

Take a video camera. A camera. If I filmed you here, these conversations of yours, the situation here, and we filled the time, let's call that the moment of death.

If we played the same camera on thousands of televisions, you could not change one second of it. So, however we gave in our destinies, that is, our desires and wishes, our aims, in whatever wish we gave them to Allah Almighty, He placed characters in us in that proportion. According to these characters of ours we have desires and wishes. From Allah Almighty, He brings causes into being, creates them, keeps creating them. And by acting on them we prove ourselves. So did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are, He says. In this case, even if I went and came back thousands of times, when that realm closes to me again, I would again do the same thing.

So my saying I knew Allah only means deceiving my own self.

If I had said I knew Allah, then surely you would pass to the hereafter as Muslims. Allah Almighty would not say this verse. They are lying unbelievers. They are lying unbelievers. He says these things for those who will depart as unbelievers anyway. Yes.

So, if a person whose destiny has been written for him has given his covenant to deny Allah, his repentance at the moment of death is not valid. Since there is a rebellious and defiant state against Allah in his nafs, the nafs of such people does not become content, and he only deceives his own self. Eyvallah. His saying, now I believe. He thinks he will deceive Allah. People whose life has passed this way, rebellious, opposing Allah, not recognizing Allah and His Messenger, depart like those who depart as unbelievers. For these there is no repentance to be accepted. Paradise and Hell were created for those who obey Allah and those who do not.

Each person, within his own will, in proportion to the covenant he gave Allah Almighty, takes his test in worldly life and departs.

So, for people like this there is a painful punishment. Man forgets the purpose of his creation, denies the One who created him, yet takes every blessing given by his Lord, benefits from it, uses it, eats, drinks, and does not give thanks even once; just as everything has a recompense, the recompense for this is eternal Hell. Everything has a recompense. There, for people, there is a painful punishment, an eternal life in constant agony. O man! Worldly life is a treasure not obtained as spoils. This life, the human life, must be used well. This world must be used well. So, Hodja, all worship (?)?

No, Allah Almighty does not say worship all the time. What does He say? (?) truth and justice on earth. That is, do not do injustice, do not oppress, help people. You owe Me five daily obligatory prayers, He says. That is, for your duty of servanthood to Me. Five times, to set you apart from other communities. So that you are held as a witness against them that you worship Me, five times. Ten minutes each makes fifty minutes. One hour, an hour and a half in twenty-four hours. In return, I gave you a life. I gave you health. I gave you sustenance. I spread every blessing before you. I made you the vicegerent of the earth.

I placed all I created under your disposal. In return, do you begrudge Me an hour and a half of worship, says Allah, Allah. Yes. So worldly life is a godsend, a godsend. A treasure, life. You will only understand this at the moment of death. For that day when the moment of death comes and your saying 'alas', that regret, will be of no use, you must prepare from now.

Yes.
