An-Nisa 3: If you fear not being able to uphold the rights of orphan girls, marry two or three or four from the women that you like. If you fear doing injustice to them, then marry only one. Or be satisfied with the ones your right hand possesses. This is closer to ensuring you do not deviate from justice.

If you fear not being able to uphold the rights of orphan girls, marry two or three or four from the women that you like. If you fear doing injustice to them, then marry only one. Or be satisfied with the ones your right hand possesses. This is closer to ensuring you do not deviate from justice.
Tafsir
It is permissible to marry an orphan if one fears that the rights of the orphan will not be respected. If a person is greedy for the property of an orphan, and the guardian of the orphan does not want the property of the orphan to go to someone else, then the orphan wants to marry the orphan for his property, even if he does not like it. In this case, when you marry someone you do not want because of an unwanted marriage for the sake of wealth, take two, three, four of the women who are lawful for you, so that you will not be inclined to other women and you will not sin and commit adultery. And if you fear that you will do injustice among them, then be content with one. Or be content with the concubines you have.
A woman's husband has died and she has no one to take care of her. In order to prevent such a woman from doing evil, wealthy people take her under their protection. They make them work in the fields, vineyards and gardens. When the opportunity arises, they marry them off. Or these wealthy people may have relations with the women under their care who they like. In this case, the woman who has a relationship with the man of the house wants to have children with him. If she has a child with him, she is entitled to be one of his wives. Of course, all this happens within the Shari'ah rulings of Allah. This is a beautiful example of justice in Islam.
There is also the part of concubines. These are women who are prisoners of war. They too can be married by paying half of the Mahr of free women. When such incidents disappeared, such women committed fornication and spread the evil around. With the so-called plague of fornication, they have spread like a plague over humanity and destroyed the concept of family. They have also caused diseases such as AIDS, which cannot be cured. In this context, they have caused the destruction of many homes. Those who lived Islam came to life by practicing this beautiful law of Allah. Today, most of the people who marry only one wife, if we take a percentage, the number of adulterers in big cities is over eighty percent. These people not only deceive their wives at home but also infect them with diseases from outside. If one does not deceive oneself, none of the people today are satisfied with one marriage. They themselves know this. Many women suspect their husbands or men suspect their wives.
This is how much Allah values women in Islam, but when people try to make their own way with their own minds and ego, with their own understanding, without experience, when they do not like Allah's law, when they stay in a single marriage, all kinds of disasters befall them and they end up in frustration and their regret does not benefit them.
So if a man fears injustice among the wives he has taken, let him be content with one. This verse expresses the value Allah (swt) places on women. It shows that it is incumbent upon men not to oppress them, to deal with them with justice, and to respect their rights. If there is a fear of injustice in this, then it is best to limit oneself to concubines, as I have explained above, so that one does not deviate from justice.
Allah (swt) is the owner of justice, and He does not make any of His creatures to oppress or persecute people. Whoever oppresses anyone, rightly or wrongly, will surely give an account to Allah on the Day of Judgment.
People who know and fear Allah do not deviate from Allah's justice. They know that if Allah has given a person the power, He has also placed the responsibility for it on that person. People with this understanding treat their wives, who are entrusted to them to fulfill Allah's commands, in the best way possible, fearing Allah. This understanding is more in keeping with justice.
Women are Allah's relics entrusted to the care of men. Whoever betrays these trusts, whoever oppresses his wives, whoever oppresses and oppresses them, according to the verse, "The end of every deed is with Allah", on the Day of Judgment, on the Day of Reckoning, every human being will surely find the recompense for what he has done.
What is said in the video
We come to the third verse of Surah An-Nisa.
Allah Almighty was speaking about orphans. If, should you marry them, of not being able to observe the orphans' rights you are afraid, take of the women you like, or who are lawful for you, two, three or four. If you fear doing injustice, take one. Or be content with the concubines you possess; this is the most suitable for you not to depart from justice, says Allah Almighty. There are many meanings here. That is, a meaning as broad as can be.
When you marry an orphan, what does He say? If you fear not being able to observe their rights. Let's say the orphan was disabled. The orphan was in a state unable to serve a person. Was insane. But you need the orphan's property, so you married her. Then, He says, so that you can protect her right, and since she cannot satisfy you, you may take wives two, three or four, He says, that is. You may take two, three, four wives. If, with them too, that you cannot protect their rights you know, there is good in one. Allah Almighty also says anyway: if you seek the good, He says, the good is in one, in one.
If, towards her too, you are in a state of being unable to protect her right, if you are obedient to Allah in piety, there is being content with concubines. If, when orphans are married, disregarding the orphans' rights is feared, one may marry on top of her. A person, out of greed for the orphan's property, the one who looked after and raised her, her guardian. If he does not want the orphan's property to go to someone else, even if the orphan person does not please him, and the orphan too wants to marry for property, even if he does not please her. So in this case, because of a marriage made unwillingly for property, when a marriage is made with someone you do not want, so as not to incline to other women and not fall into sin, not commit adultery, of the women lawful for you two, three, four you may take.
If you fear you will do injustice among them too, be content with one. Again, of those he took, be content with that one, He says. Or be content with the concubines you possess. Whom do they call a concubine? A concubine: people confuse these matters. What is the place of the concubine in Islam? In this respect: her husband has died, she has no children, and there is no one left to look after her. So that such a woman does not do evil, wealthy people take them under their protection. Under their protection. They have them work in the field, the vineyard, the garden. When their fortune comes, they marry them off.
Or these wealthy people may also, with women under their protection whom they like, form a relationship. A relationship. In this case the woman who has a relationship with the master of the house wants to have a child by this man. A child. If the woman has a child by the man she is under the protection of, she earns the right to join this man's wives. Also, women taken as prisoners of war are called concubines too. He took them as prisoners of war. They have nowhere to go either. These too come under that man's protection; he protects them from evils. This is a beautiful example of Islam's justice.
Now, which man will take women under his protection, or which man will keep those women under his protection? At the two poles they have become the exact (?) of each other. When such concubine practices disappeared, such women, by committing adultery, spread evil around.
Whose hat is on whose head, whose hand is in whose pocket, no one knows.
With what is called the disease of adultery they surrounded humanity like a plague, and the concept of family they did away with.
What are we saying? This is a beautiful example of Islam's justice. When such concubine practices disappeared, such women, by committing adultery, spread evil around. With what is called the disease of adultery they surrounded humanity like a plague and did away with the concept of family. And they caused diseases like AIDS, which cannot be cured. In this way they also caused many homes to be destroyed.
Today whose morals were sound and devoted to family life, some of our regions, with (?), they destroyed people's family lives and a region they brought to a state of complete adultery.
In this case how beautifully Allah Almighty His laws set with the concubines. He guarded people regarding adultery. He protected family homes.
Today eighty percent, ninety percent, ninety percent of men, (?), never stay with one woman.
Ten percent, twenty percent, protecting themselves, fearing Allah, have become such people. Ten percent or twenty percent. Around that. The others look like a single marriage. They are all outside, in adultery.
In this case, there are women who know their husbands commit adultery, up to (?) percent of them. But they turn a blind eye. They have no other way out.
Does this befit the religion of Islam? Does it befit Allah's laws? If these people made two or three marriages, they would both stop adultery, and the women would find helpers in one another. Helpers. Solitude belongs to Allah alone. But isn't there the whim of the nafs, isn't there this jealousy? Jealousy pushes people to such evils. Allah Almighty does not say you must marry like this. Again He protects the woman's right. He says the good is in one. Well, if the man who cannot maintain that good commits adultery outside, where is the good here? Where is the good here?
Yes.
So those who live Islam, by applying this beautiful law of Allah, found life. Today, most of the people married to one wife, if we put it in percentages, in the big cities the number of those committing adultery is above 80 percent. These people both deceive their wives at home and bring them diseases from outside. If a person does not deceive himself, none of the people today are content with a single marriage. They themselves know this too. Many women suspect their husbands, or men their wives. So while in Islam Allah values women this much, people, with their own reason and nafs, within their own understanding, inexperienced, setting out to draw their own paths, not liking Allah's law, saying "single marriage", as a result of staying with one marriage bond,
various disasters befall those people, and in the end, with their ruin, their regret brings them no benefit. Yes. Yes. What does it say? As a result of staying with one marriage bond, saying "single marriage", upon those people various disasters come, and in the end, with their ruin, their regret brings them no benefit.
So
while Islam and Allah value women this much, people, with their own reason and nafs, within their own understanding, inexperienced, setting out to draw their own paths, not liking Allah's law, saying "single marriage", with one marriage bond staying, as a result various disasters befall those people, and their ruin, with their ruin in the end, their regret will bring them no benefit. So if a person refrains from doing injustice among the wives he has taken, let him be content with one. In this verse Allah Almighty expresses the value He gives to women. In not oppressing them, in treating them with justice among them, in observing women's rights, that there is a duty upon men it shows. If one fears doing injustice in this too, then, as I explained above, being content with concubines is, for a person not to depart from justice, the most suitable.
Allah Almighty is the owner of justice. He does not let any of His creatures be subjected by people to oppression and torment. Whoever oppresses someone, rightly or wrongly, surely on the Day of Judgement that oppressor will give account to Allah.
So people who know Allah and fear Allah do not step outside Allah's justice. They know that if Allah grants a person authority, along with it He has surely laid its responsibility on that person. People with this understanding, in order to carry out Allah's commands, fearing Allah, towards the wives entrusted to them, in the most beautiful way behave. So this understanding is more suitable for not departing from justice. Yes.
Every human being is born free. Free. No human being is the captive of another. If a person makes a marriage and joins his life with a wife, and if Allah Almighty created the wife lacking compared with the man, for the (?) in the home, for its permanence, for its continuance, and what does the Prophet say? As he said: if two of you set out on a journey, surely choose one as your leader. Since two roosters cannot get along together in a house, the woman He (?) obedient to the man, that is, since He created her lacking, He gave her into his protection, and this man, when he takes the woman under his authority, has no right to use her according to his own will.
That woman too has a covenant she gave to Allah Almighty. You too have a covenant you gave to Allah Almighty. But if your authority over the woman is just, within that authority Allah's rulings you can explain to her. Doing them or not is up to that woman. The responsibility is that woman's. Because she too has a covenant, a covenant she gave to Allah Almighty; since no one can change anyone's covenant, no one can take anyone under his rule. "Under his rule" means he cannot use her like his slave. In Islam there is no slavery anyway. In this case, if a man knew the value of his wife, he would make her the crown of his head.
Because in Islam there is chastity, honour and (?). If a woman protects her own chastity and is devoted to her honour, if she does not harm that person's honour and dignity, that person must make his upright wife the crown of his head. Sensual feelings lead people to misery. Every person has good sides. Good sides. Yes.
In this case people do not know their wives' worth, and push themselves into misery.
What are we saying? Women are Allah's trusts given into the protection of men. Whoever betrays these trusts, oppresses his wife, causes her pain and suffering, according to the verse "the end of every matter returns to Allah", on the Day of Judgement, on that Day of Reckoning, every person will surely find the recompense of what he did, He says.
