If relatives, orphans, and poor people (who don’t have a share in the heritage) are present during the distribution of the heritage, give them something from it (the inheritance) and say kind words to them.
Tafsir
When the inheritance of a deceased person is divided, if relatives or the poor who have no right to the inheritance are present among them, provide for them and speak sweet words to them.
According to the verse that says, "The inheritance of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah," and according to the verse that says, "All souls will taste death," since existence and the universe are Allah's creations, these goods and creations will be left to Allah. Therefore, if a person lusts for wealth that is beyond his needs, as if he will never die, and loves Allah's creation more than man, and deprives man of it, and covets it, and does not give it to the orphans and orphans who are present there, and deprives them of their inheritance or property in his will, then the souls of such people are not perfected.
Our Prophet said in one of his hadiths (If a believer cannot sympathize with another believer, his soul has not been perfected). If we do not extend our helping hands to the orphans or the poor who are standing in front of us or whose existence we are aware of, if we cannot relate to their situation, if we cannot feel their needs, then our souls have not been perfected.
When a person realizes that he is going to die, and he bequeaths his property and makes a will, orphans and orphans will certainly feel the same way about the person who distributes a share of the inheritance, if these people put themselves for a moment in the shoes of the orphans and the poor. Orphans and orphans will want to benefit from the will of the testator and benefit from his property to some extent. If the person leaving the inheritance does not have any property, then sweet words should be spoken to the orphans and orphans to win their hearts.
Orphans and the poor are under the protection of Allah (swt) Himself. Whoever makes the orphan and the poor happy, they make Allah (swt) happy. If only these people knew their place in the sight of Allah. Those who give Allah's wealth to Allah for Allah's sake. They will be in the mercy of Allah. Here is a verse (Whoever buys Paradise with his wealth and his life). The martyrs with their lives and the generous with their wealth.
What is said in the video
If relatives who have no share in the inheritance, orphans and the poor are present at the division of the inheritance, provide for them too from it, and speak kind words to them. A man dies; his offspring, his children are there, the inheritance will pass to them. But there is his maternal uncle's son, his maternal aunt's daughter, there is an orphan there. They are in a wronged state, poor, in need. Now, instead of all the property going to the son and the daughter, in return for their hoping for something worldly, bowing their heads, wondering if he will leave something for us too, the dying person, for the sake of Allah, so as to gladden their hearts too, advises his sons: Give (?) this much too.
His heart will be glad. Give this one this much too. They are right there with them. Give this one this much too. He says. Their hearts will be glad too. Allah Almighty is never pleased with people being saddened. With their being saddened. That is why people are always entrusted to one another. These people who are entrusted, toward one another, the elders showing love to the young, the young showing respect to the elders, carry on their unity and togetherness. When the inheritance of a deceased person is being divided, if relatives who have no right to this inheritance or the poor are present among them during the division, provide for them too and speak sweet words to them. For example, my child, I am giving you this much, but (?), let this be yours too.
That is, sweetly like this. May Allah give you more. May Allah raise you like this, raise you like that. Making supplication. Wealth and property belong to Allah. According to the verse that every soul will taste death. According to the verse in which He says that in the end the inheritance of the earth and the heavens belongs to Allah. Since existence and the universe are Allah's creations, this property and these created things will again remain to Allah. So if a person, as though he would never die, craves property beyond his own need, loves the things Allah created more than people, withholds these things from people and covets them, and deprives the orphan present there, during the (?) bequest, of inheritance or property and does not give, the nafs of such people has not reached perfection.
That is, love of Allah and passion for Him have not fully appeared in them. Or their faith has not fully strengthened, has not reached perfection. Because their hearts are still hard.
Yes, the Prophet says in a hadith: if a believer cannot share the state of a believer, his nafs has not reached perfection. If we do not extend a helping hand to the orphans or poor standing before us or whose existence we know of, if we cannot share their state, if we cannot feel their needs, our nafs too has not reached perfection. When a person realises he will die, when he leaves his property as inheritance and makes his bequest, if these people put themselves for a moment in the place of the orphans and poor before them,
whatever they would feel about the person who (?) from the inheritance, the orphans and the fatherless will surely feel the same things. For example, let's say Mehmet Efendi is distributing property; Ahmet, Mehmet, or Ahmet, Cengiz, Ceyhun, his children. Now a person will put himself in that orphan's place. While shares are being given to them, would he hope for anything from that man or not? He would. If he says he would not, he is lying. He would. Because he is an orphan, or poor, needy. So the relative before you (?), who will receive no inheritance, from the needy orphan and fatherless, or from the needy poor, how?
If you felt those feelings, they feel them too. So he sets aside a share for them too. They will want to benefit from the bequest of the one making it, to benefit even a little from his property. If the person leaving the inheritance has no property, then these orphans and fatherless should be gladdened with sweet words. Such as? Ah my child, if only Allah had given me property, so that I too could have given to you. I would so much have wanted you too to live, well, in a good place, in a good position; saying so, he will (?) them, he will say sweet, sweet words.
Orphans and the poor are under the protection of Allah Almighty Himself. As I said a moment ago, their hearts are broken, their heads are bowed. What does our Lord say? Seek Me in broken hearts. Yes. Whoever gladdens the orphan and the poor gladdens Allah Almighty Himself.
They gladden Allah Himself. Does Allah not have the power to give to him? God forbid. Of course He does. In an instant He brings whom He wills to whatever rank He wills. But in this world we are always tested by one another. So stroking that orphan's head, offering him something, is offering to Allah. You will have sold your property to Allah. In return for Paradise. Your property. That is what the verse says. Whoever buys Paradise with their property and their lives. Allah creates property, Allah creates man, Allah creates Paradise, Allah is the owner; when you give Him a little of what you earned, He sells you His Paradise.
Yes.
In this case, if only these people knew their place in Allah's sight, if only they knew. Those who give Allah Almighty's property to Allah for Allah's sake. They attain Allah's mercy. Here, a verse about this: whoever buys Paradise with property and life. With their lives the martyrs, with their property the generous whose hearts are rich buy it.
