Translation

“Oh Our Lord! We heard and believed in a Messenger who called to the Truth, saying; “Believe in your Lord”. Forgive our sins, cover our wrongful deeds, count us with those who are the good ones.”

Tafsir

Allah says: "We do not hold anyone to account for that which We do not announce. Allah sends prophets and books to invite people from darkness to light, from ignorance to guidance, so that people may find the truth and find salvation. When such an inviter comes and invites to Allah, entrusting the truth. O our Lord! We believed in the Prophet and the Book You sent, we heard it and we believed in it immediately. Forgive us our sins of ignorance.

O our Lord! You are a sultan whose forgiveness is abundant. Cleanse us from our sins and purify us. Have mercy on us.

O our Lord! Add us to the class of people who do not fail in obedience to you, who gain your closeness, who are among the friends of Allah, who are among the class of mukarrebun in the verse in which you say (Vessabikunessabikune ülaikel mukarrebun ficennatin naim).

O Lord! You have lit the kindling of love in my heart, do not extinguish it again. They say, 'O Allah, do not separate us from your Essence, and make us saints in both worlds.

If people feel such closeness to Allah (swt), Allah (swt) will address them in the world, saying, "Lebbeyk my servant, you ask, I have created the universe for you. Whatever you desire will be given to you. If man had known his worth with Allah (swt) in this situation, he would have said, "Lâ mulkha illâ yawme li" (Lâ mulkha illâ yawme li) today the property is mine alone.

What is said in the video

Surah Al Imran, 193, verse. Pay attention to this, to this verse.

Such inviters, people, just as they despised the Prophet, or just as they did not believe him, they do not believe.

In pursuit of their own nafs's desires and comfort, thinking they have turned to Allah, their own selves they deify, their own selves they gratify. Never be among them. And I am not saying this for myself. When you see such people, cling to their skirts.

Surah Al Imran, 193, verse: Our Lord, truly we heard a caller calling to faith, saying, believe in your Lord: the Prophet and the Quran.

People love this, people. Those people near to Allah, friends of Allah. And what do we say? Our Lord, had You not sent the Prophet (peace be upon him) to us as a mercy, what would we have done? By his explaining the religion of Islam to us, with Your verses guiding us, giving us life, we came to life. My Allah, raise his station high. Send blessings and peace upon him as many as the created beings. (?) to the Prophet. So we pray, and our prayer in words, in words, we cannot express.

Deeds depend on intentions. Our Lord knows our hearts.

Yes, what are we saying? Our Lord, truly we heard a caller calling to faith, saying, believe in your Lord: the Prophet and the Quran. We believed at once, at once. Now forgive our sins, cover our misdeeds, take our souls with the good. Our Lord, we say. We are praying. That is why I said, pay attention to this. See, I always explain the verses to you. I always explain the verses.

Even if people oppose the verses I explain, within their superstitions, within their own understandings, even if they oppose, we fulfil our duty. We explain the Quran. The Quran. And people hear it.

If, while explaining the Quran, I explain something wrongly as a human, I always say it: Warn me, I say. But when you hear me explain the truth, from superstitions at once (?), separate, we say. We say this for your sake. Otherwise, (?) some interest of ours in you. Our reward is with Allah alone. He knows us. Yes. Allah Almighty says: for what We have not made known, We call no one to account. To call people from darkness to light, from ignorance to guidance, Allah sends prophets and books so that people find the truth and attain salvation.

Here is a subtle meaning, if we go into this sentence further:

since there is no prophet in our time, in their place He raises scholars, who, as heirs of the prophets, explain to people.

Allah calls no one to account for what He has not made known. We say it at the start too. The words saying the passing of your scholars to the hereafter is like the sun going and darkness coming, being explained from various angles.

What are we saying? Let's read this once more. Allah Almighty says: We call no one to account for what We have not made known. To call people from darkness to light, from ignorance to guidance, Allah sends prophets and books so that people find the truth and attain salvation. When such a caller comes, not necessarily a prophet, scholars, those charged with a duty whom Allah Almighty has raised, when he comes, reminding of the truth and calling to Allah: Our Lord, we believed in the Prophet and the book You sent, we heard and believed at once. The sins we committed in the time of ignorance forgive us.

Our Lord! You are a sovereign abundant in forgiveness. Purify us of our sins and cleanse us, have mercy on us.

While explaining up to here, let's complete the verse above. Let's complete it from a sentence back. When such a caller comes: since we write for the general public, the Prophet is who we mean. Now, in what we have been explaining from above, there are also callers after him. Scholars, those our Lord has raised. When such a caller comes, that is, since after the Prophet Allah Almighty will not again send a prophet, in his place, as he said, the saint of my community is like a prophet of (?) and again, when He sends the scholars who are his heirs in his place, obey him at once, it says. Obey him.

Yes.

When such a caller comes, delivering the truth, calling to Allah, we deliver the truth. You grasp this very well too. Through what? How do you grasp that we are delivering the truth? four hundred and some wrongly interpreted verses ascribing qualities to Allah Almighty, and by correcting them, our protecting our Lord's freedom from deficient qualities, Allah's and His Messenger's glory, by our protecting them, (?) by our explaining them, you understand it, I suppose. Yes.

Our Lord! To the Prophet You sent, we say here. Because we write for the general public, we put this here. But here we have now opened it up. That is, to such scholars too. Sir, to such people too, that is, since no prophet will come after the Prophet, to such people too.

In Your book You sent, too, we believed, we heard and at once believed. We had believed already, but here we strengthened our faith. Forgive us the sins we committed in the time of ignorance.

In situations we (?) before this, or for the sins we committed following our nafs, forgive us.

Yes. Our Lord! You are a sovereign abundant in forgiveness. What does it say? Allah Almighty: when you repent of the sins you have committed, when you repent (?), We change those sins into good deeds too. So the door of repentance is open until the soul reaches the throat.

In this case, people, with the mistakes made in the time of ignorance, when they repent, since there is no other door to go to, turning to our Lord and from Him pardon and forgiveness asking, will long to come to life.

Purify us of our sins and cleanse us. Have mercy on us. Our Lord, those who do not fall short in obeying You, who have earned Your nearness, who have entered among the friends of Allah, in Your verse where You said, join us to the people of the class of the muqarrabin. You lit the lamp of love in my heart. Do not put it out again. Do not separate us from Your essence. Make us honoured in both worlds, my Allah, he says.

Yes. How beautifully it says in the verse, Allah Almighty. And how beautifully we express to our Lord our yearning for Him.

So people, if they feel such nearness to Allah Almighty, Allah too, to them, while still in this world, addressing them, says: Labbayk, My servant, speak, speak. What do you want? Say whatever you want. Ask; the universe I created for you. Whatever your wish, to you it will be given, He says. Because you will ask as much as your destiny. You cannot go beyond your destiny, (?). If man, in this case, had known his worth in Allah Almighty's sight, la mülke illa yevmelih, today the dominion is Mine alone, he would say, it says yes the verses, how beautiful; to understand them, to be with them, to live them.
