Translation

Don’t be deceived by the fact that the deniers (still) walk on earth (in wealth).

Tafsir

It is narrated that this verse was revealed when the Muslims saw the polytheists in prosperity and abundance, while they themselves were in hardship and poverty. Since the Holy Qur'an addresses the past, present and future times, there will be such people in every age, Allah warns them with His Verses. Do not be deceived by their wandering from land to land. Their wandering in this world in prosperity and abundance is for a little while. Then their destination is the Fire. For these are ungrateful people who do not recognize Allah and the Book, who turn their backs on Allah and are ungrateful for the blessings they receive from Allah. These are the eternal losers in the Hereafter, for their lives are outside the command of Allah.

What is said in the video

The disbelievers roaming land after land in prosperity — He says, let it not deceive you. Yes, today we see non-Muslims the world over traveling. When there is despair in a person's heart, distress, restlessness, a person looks for a place that can bring it to calm. He looks for a place to soothe the despair, restlessness and distress in his heart. There is no place where a person can soothe this despair and restlessness in his heart.

What was it? Among created things there is no place where a person can remove this restlessness in his heart.

Hodja, (?) saying it, huh. So are all the people in this world restless now? These restless ones. Yes, restless. Here's a verse for you. Their hearts are scattered and restless. Whose? The non-Muslims'. Then where does this one find peace? Where does this restlessness and distress end? By taking refuge in Allah. Peace is in Islam.

What was it? Peace is in Islam. So outside Islam no one can soothe the despair, restlessness and distress in his heart. So what do they do? They turn to drink, gambling, adultery, usury, to amassing the world without caring for halal or haram, and to traveling, to rid themselves of that restlessness. So do not believe them, do not envy them, He says. Yes, let their roaming land after land not deceive you, He says. It is narrated that when the Muslims saw the (?) in prosperity and abundance while they themselves were in hardship and want, this verse was revealed. Since the Quran addresses past times, this time and future times, and since such people will appear in every age, Allah warns them with His verses.

Let their roaming land after land not deceive you. Their wandering this world in prosperity and abundance is for a short time. Then their destination is the Fire. Because they recognize neither Allah nor the Book, they turn their backs on Allah and do not give thanks for the blessings they received from Allah; they are ungrateful people. Since their lives are outside Allah's command, in the hereafter they are the ones who suffer eternal loss.
