This is the return for the things that you have committed with your own hands. Allah does not oppress Allah’s servants.
Tafsir
According to the verse in which Allah (swt) introduces Himself to every human being and says, "We do not hold anyone responsible for that which We do not make known", people are left free to know Allah (swt) or not with the evidence of reason that He has given to people through the prophets and the Book. As a result of each soul's covenant with Allah, as a result of people coming to the realm of property and living their destiny, they will be held to account for the rewards and sins they have earned with their own two hands.
Allah does not intend cruelty to His creatures. Allah, Who created the universe out of nothing, invites people to His Essence and wills that He should give to them what He has created. But people turn their backs on Allah, the Creator, and take what Allah has given them. This is because people are created in need. If people turn their backs on creatures, seek help from things that will perish, turn away from trusting and relying on Allah, lust for what Allah has given, forget Allah, and turn away from Allah according to the verse that says, "Man is very ungrateful," then these people will be persecuting their own souls as a punishment for their disbelief, in return for the sins they have earned. In this respect, Allah is not unjust to His creatures.
What is said in the video
At Surah Al Imran, verse 182, we left off.
Allah Almighty, in His verse: while in this world, what you have done with your own hands – it is the recompense of that. While in the world, that is, within this lifetime of ours, the actual deeds we did. Whatever we have done, with the decisions and judgments we made by our own partial will – the good deeds and sins we did are the recompense of our two hands. It is the recompense of what you did. It is the recompense of what your own hands did. Otherwise, Allah does not wrong His servants. That's how it is. Never does Allah Almighty say to His servant: 'Go kill a man. Go usurp someone else's right. You (?) interest, commit adultery.
Drink alcohol' – and then: 'You have sinned. Come over here.' Or: 'Allah made you do it.' And you say, 'He made me commit my sin,' and when you blame Allah, Allah would not accept that blame and would punish you. There is no such thing. Every person is free in his own will. With their own free thought, with the decisions they made, people reward or sin (?). So what does Allah Almighty say? It is the recompense of what you did with your own hands in this world. Where? In the hereafter, when Allah Almighty calls us to account at that Great Court, our books will be opened to us. There we will have no word to say against Allah Almighty.
Allah Almighty makes His essence known to every person – according to the verse saying, 'for a matter not made known We hold no one responsible' – and through prophets and books and the proof of reason He gave people, people, in knowing or not knowing Allah Almighty, have been left free. That is the partial will. Most people the partial will do not know. They say it, but they are sleepwalkers – they are unaware of it. What is the partial will? With a person's own free thought, without any pressure from anyone, by the decisions he himself made – the actual deeds he did. A person's partial will – the decisions he made by his own will.
Yes.
Every soul (?) – people who come to the great world, as a result of living their destinies, in return for the good deeds and sins they earned, will be called to account as the recompense of what their own two hands earned. (?) according to their wishes and desires, according to the wishes and desires of their life in the world – there Allah Almighty shows people the times to come. Just like, let's say, He shows England, shows France, shows Germany, shows Italy, shows America – but not as I listed. Take what I listed as ages. Ages. In which age? People's lives. I mean, as if He showed England there, showed America, showed Africa – when it isn't accepted, we give (?).
For example, a person loved America. He loves it there. That is, the time (?) to that time he desires. His wishes and desires take shape accordingly. Those wishes and desires – Allah Almighty, accordingly, his wishes and desires, his aim, writes as destiny for him and gives him those characters too. So people choose their own time – back when they made the covenant at the (?) of 'Elestü bi-Rabbiküm', back then, their wishes and desires, those persons' wishes, their not (?) Allah, become destiny for them. So within these destinies, people, back there in pre-eternity, with the decisions and judgments they made by their free will – just as they had their destinies written, or had the script of the life they would live written – here too, in the world, within their lifetimes, people, the wish and desire and aim of the destiny they had written, because they themselves had decided it – that is why they desire it.
With what they desire, Allah Almighty creates causes. A person proves what kind of person he is by the actual deeds he does. 'Did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are?' says Allah Almighty.
Allah Almighty does not will injustice for His creations. Before coming here, as I said earlier: by the decisions each person made and the actual deeds he did, the reward and sin he gets are the recompense of each person's own (?). Otherwise, no one, by ruling those people, by doing harm, or Allah Almighty, by working characters into them, saying 'you had to do it this way', drove them neither to any evil nor to any good. Only, Allah Almighty gave them a fine mind. He left a person free in his own will. When people used their minds – to Allah's existence, to their own helplessness – they submitted to their Lord, the owner of the worlds.
A person could not master his nafs. In that pride and arrogance, in grandeur, waiting for the Lord of his imagination, he denied Allah who created him. So by the verse 'In their time they betrayed Me too', these people waited for the Lord of their imagination. That is, the verse 'They will not be able to see their Lord' – there is no god but Allah for them to see the Lord of their imagination. Yes, so every person, as the recompense of their own (?), what they did in this world, the recompense of it, in the hereafter will see. Allah does not will injustice for His creations.
Because Allah Almighty is merciful.
He does not will injustice for the worlds. He did not create the worlds to wrong them. He created the worlds so that His essence be known. So Allah Almighty is full of mercy. And many sins people have committed – when people become repentant, their periods of ignorance (?), their sins He forgives and pardons, covers. That is why Allah Almighty says: do not point out your sins. Yes, do not make others witnesses to the sins you have committed. (?) through repentance and seeking forgiveness, He says, we will have covered those sins of ours; the sins we have covered – someone else (?) them – do not humiliate yourselves, He says.
Yes, Allah does not will injustice for His creations.
Allah, who brought the universe into being from nothing, inviting people to His essence, wills to give His creations to people. Because Allah Almighty needs nothing. He is the Creator. His creations are the needy ones. All creations are in need of Allah. And they (?) the creations of Allah.
But people, turning their backs on Allah the Creator, take the blessings Allah gives and turn their backs on Allah. He takes the blessing Allah created, turns his back on Allah, deifies that blessing, nurtures love for it in his heart, and never sees the one who gives it. These are the ungrateful. These are called ungrateful. Or these fall into the state of people who deify their nafs – their nafs. Because people, in need, were created. People – their backs (?) to the creations, to the creations – from (?) matter that will perish hope for help. They move away from trusting and relying on Allah, long for what Allah gives; if they forget Allah – according to the verse 'Man is very ungrateful' – if they turn their faces away from Allah, these people, as the punishment for their denial, in return for the sins they themselves earned, will have wronged their own selves.
Allah did not wrong them. They wronged their own selves. So what everyone earns is the recompense of their own (?). If you (?) your back to the creations, if you move away from the one who created them, and long for those creations with the whims of the nafs, and take pride in that whim and grow arrogant – then you have wronged your own self. In this respect, Allah does not will injustice for His creations.
Even though people in this state – that is, having longed for the world, having turned their backs on Allah, having reached a certain position. If a person in this state sees his own helplessness and says, 'Alas, I have truly lived far from my Lord. With what my Lord granted me, I acted in line with the interests of my own nafs' – if he says this and is (?) by Allah Almighty, Allah's forgiveness is very vast. His mercy is very abundant. He turns his deeds into good deeds too. His deeds – provided, of course, he repents with a sincere heart. What does the Prophet (peace be upon him) say? Even if the sins you committed reached the clouds in the sky, when you repent with an intense heart, Allah Almighty turns them into good deeds, he says.
Yes. What people did in their period of ignorance, Allah Almighty forgives and pardons.
