Translation

Every nafs (living thing) will taste death. And on the Day of Judgment, the return for what you have done will be fully given. Those who will be distanced from hell and placed in paradise will truly have achieved salvation. This world (however) is nothing but a deceiving benefit.

Tafsir

All created beings will taste death one day. The meaning of tasting death here is that death is not on the souls but on the bodies. If death were upon the souls, the souls would also be mortal in the Hereafter. When the body dies and the soul leaves the body, the soul will taste the pain of the body at the moment of death, just as the human body normally suffers the pain of a blow. The meaning of tasting the pain of death is that the soul does not die when it leaves the body, it only leaves the body, and the soul remains alive. According to the verse "Every soul will taste death", Allah (swt) will resurrect our dead bodies in the Hereafter and then testify against our souls before Allah (swt) on the Day of Judgment.

Allah (swt) will resurrect our dead bodies on the Day of Judgment, and according to the Verse (when the souls are paired), the body and the soul will come together and our bodies will be witnesses against our souls. In another Verse, Allah (swt) says: "We will silence your mouths, bind your feet and make your hands speak". After the bodies bear witness to the soul, they will die for the second time and the bodies created from earth will become dust. According to the verse (We resurrect you twice and kill you twice), our bodies will die for the second time on the Day of Judgment and our souls will remain alive.

The good deeds and sins that people have done while they were in this physical world and while they were living in this world, which we call the world of the unseen, will come before them in full. Then (whoever is taken away from hell and put into paradise has indeed attained salvation). If a person knows his Lord and believes in the Qur'an and the prophets sent by Allah, if he continues in his duty of servitude, if he seeks help from Allah, if he is in repentance, if he asks Allah for forgiveness for his sins, in return for these people's intentions, if Allah has mercy on them and they enter Paradise, then they will be among the righteous, having attained eternal bliss.

(The life of this world is nothing but a deceitful advantage). In proportion to the covenant we have made in the Hereafter, Allah (swt), who has sent people to a realm where His Essence is invisible, has closed people's covenant in the Hereafter to them in the same way that the events of the Hereafter are locked in the program of an information counter. He has provided people with the blessings of the world to make them witnesses to the events they are destined to do in the realm of property. Since people's covenant with Allah (swt) in the Hereafter is closed to them, the blessings of the world are presented to them in the established world order in accordance with their wishes, desires and wishes. By offering the blessings of this world to people, if they exchange the blessings of this world for the Word of Allah (swt), if they drag the Hereafter to destruction for a little pleasure and enjoyment of a temporary world, they are wronging their own souls.

This is how Allah reveals the events that will happen to people with His Verses, so that you do not forget your Lord in the pleasure of this mortal world. Do not compromise on your worship of Allah and the Book, remembering that one day when every living being will taste death and be held to account.

What is said in the video

Surah Al Imran, verse 185: we have come to this verse.

Yes, Surah Al Imran, verse 185. The verse. Let us see. Here.

Yes. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Küllü nefsin zâikatü'l-mevt, it says. Every living being will taste its death. Every living being.

(?) since the world was founded until this time no living being has remained alive. None. That is, if even one had remained, we would say, maybe I will live too. Noah lived among his people 900 years, by one account 960 years, and after the Flood another 240 years he lived. So he lived 1200 years. Solomon lived 500 years. But all of them, all of them, all souls tasted death. What does it say? Every living being will taste death. Every living being.

Actually, here every living being we should not say, but, so that it fits the verses better here, every soul will taste death. Allah Almighty says it that way here anyway. Küllü nefsin zâikatü'l-mevt. All souls will taste death.

When it says all souls here, human beings are meant.

Look what it says as the verse continues. And only on the Day of Resurrection will what you have done be given to you in full, it says. So it is every soul, not every living being. Animals die too; they are also living beings. But the true meaning here points directly to the human being. Küllü nefsin zâikatü'l-mevt. All souls will taste death. So it does not say all souls will die. Look. Allah Almighty. Spirit, soul and life are one. There is no death upon spirits. Death is upon bodies. Upon bodies. The body tasting death, that is, the soul tasting death while the body dies, does not mean that the soul dies or that the spirit dies.

Allah Almighty gave people from His spirit. If spirits tasted death, we say, then Allah would be mortal too. Since Allah Almighty is immortal, spirits are immortal too; spirits are immortal. What will die is our bodies, our bodies. Our life will leave us; life, soul and spirit are one. Those who cannot grasp these points, I always say it, should not label us as followers of wahdat al-wujud. Because it shows that they have no knowledge. If Allah Almighty had said there is death upon spirits, doubt would enter us: Allah Almighty, küllü ruh, He too would be mortal. In that case, since Paradise and Hell are eternal, what then?

Paradise and Hell are eternal. Since He says that after burning there for many thousands of years they will no longer feel or taste, their (?) will be removed, and they will remain there as logs of Hell.

In that case they are eternal there, and those who enter Paradise are eternal too. What does Allah Almighty say in His word anyway? They are eternal and endless. In the (?) world, in Paradise and in Hell, they are eternal. Yes, on the Day of Resurrection the reward of what you did will be given to you in full. So, all souls will taste death. Every person, without being wronged in any way, will be given in full the reward of what you earned with your two hands, it says. Whoever is kept away from Hell and placed in Paradise has truly attained salvation.

Yes. He has attained the true victory. That is what victory is anyway. Winning victory over the outcomes, (?). Yes. And this worldly life is nothing but a deceptive enjoyment. If you see the blessings of the world with this ignorant eye you see with, if you do not think of tomorrow, if you gather without caring whether it is halal or haram, if you do not take into account who gave this to you, and then if you turn a deaf ear to being called to account for them,

is worldly life not a deceptive enjoyment for you? Deceptive.

Yes.

All created living beings will one day taste death. The meaning of tasting death here is that death is not upon spirits but upon bodies. If death were upon spirits, spirits would also be mortal in the world of the hereafter. As the body dies, when the spirit leaves the body, like the pain the human body normally feels from a blow it has received, as the spirit leaves it will taste the pain of the body at the moment of death. It will taste that pain.

The meaning of tasting the pain of death is that the spirit, when it leaves the body, does not die; it only leaves the body, and the spirit remains alive; that is what it shows. If it has another meaning, you explain it.

People think it is all over with death.

I see myself on the television screen. Or I see myself on the computer screen. Right now, myself in front of me.

Take one as my spirit and the other as my body. We are not single, as we appear.

What are we? We are, through the unity of spirit, body and life, of spirit, soul and life, our outward appearance in the garb of a body. That is, my appearance in the mirror; I am now a mirror. That is, the mirror of the spirit, its outward appearance.

Until this shape is reflected in the mirror, can you see this shape? So a ray it sends out comes back to you in the mirror, and you see yourself. So this body's outward appearance is the mirror of your spirit too. Never compare yourself with this body. Know that this body is entrusted to you, and know that you will be called to account for this body. According to what? I will call you to account for how you used the trust given to you, says Allah Almighty. He means this body. I will call you to account for how you used the trust given to you. In drink? In gambling? In adultery? Outside the religion of Islam?

In denial? Or in obedience and worship to your Lord? We will be called to account for this as well. This is our bodies' testimony to us. We will silence your mouths, He says, bind your feet and make your hands speak. And when your spirit says, why do you testify against me, it says Allah, who makes me speak, makes me speak; and after the testimony, saying you are being returned to the One who first created you, it tastes death a second time on the Day of Resurrection in the presence of Allah Almighty; it dies. And the body created from earth becomes earth. So never think of yourself as you see this flesh (?).

When your spirit leaves, your body will rot in the grave. Your spirit will go to the realm of spirits and wait there alive. Until the Resurrection. Just as you lie down in the evening and get up in the morning, so it will be.

Allah Almighty, who has power over all things, will make that cell in the human body that does not die grow again from the ground like plants. In your likeness the body will again be created in the same way, down to the fingertips. Spirit and soul, spirit and (?) body will find each other at once. On the Day of Resurrection, in the presence of Allah Almighty, according to the word of the verse, I will call you to account for how you used the bodies given to you, it will bear witness to you. O man, flee wherever you may flee, to the seventh depth of the earth or to the remotest corner of the heavens, look, you have such a witness that you perhaps cannot flee from it, but you escape death.

That is your witness. So be wise. Either be as you appear, or appear as you are. Yes.

So every soul will taste death. According to the verse, Allah Almighty will raise our dead bodies again in the world of the hereafter. Then on the Day of Resurrection, in the presence of Allah Almighty, they will bear witness against our spirits.

Our dead bodies, on the Day of Resurrection, Allah Almighty raising them again, according to the verse when the spirits are paired, body and spirit will come face to face and our bodies will bear witness against our spirits. In a verse Allah Almighty says: We will silence your mouths, bind your feet and make your hands speak. After the bodies have borne witness to the spirit, they will die a second time, and the body created from earth will become earth. According to the verse where He says, We give you life twice and cause you to die twice, our bodies will return (?) a second time, while our spirits will remain everlasting.

So, while in this world of bodies, living the worldly world that we call the unseen world, the good deeds and sins people have done will come before them in full. On that day, He says, We will hang your records around your necks.

Yes, then whoever is kept away from Hell and placed in Paradise has truly attained salvation. If a person knows his Lord and believes in the Quran Allah sent and in the prophets, has faith, continues in his duty of servanthood, expects help from Allah, is (?), asks Allah for forgiveness for his sins, then if these people, in return for their intentions, attain Allah's mercy and go to His Paradise, they attain eternal bliss and enter among the (?). Allah Almighty, in Surah Al-Fath: Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, İnnâ fetahnâ leke fethan mübînâ: We will soon give you a victory, it says. The word of our Lord is both outward and inward.

He gives good tidings to the believers. Victory. What victory? That they have entered, that they will enter Paradise: a sign to them of that. Who are they? Those Companions, those believers, those believers. Yes, what does Allah Almighty say in the verse? Let us see.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. İnnâ fetahnâ leke fethan mübînâ. Indeed, We have granted you a clear conquest. A clear conquest. Actually, if we explain it inwardly, a clear conquest: the conquest of Islam. Islam, the light of Islam, all the books gathered in the Quran, the continuation of the religion of Islam to the worlds. And Allah Almighty gives the good news that no one, by blowing with their mouths, will be able to extinguish the religion of Islam. So that Allah may forgive your past and future sins, it says. How beautiful. He forgives past and past, future sins as well. This is the conquest. The conquest in the true sense.

That is, being granted Allah's mercy, the struggle with your self in this world ending in victory, attaining great ranks in Allah's sight: the victory of that. That is the true victory anyway. States fight against states too, and whichever prevails wins the victory. But many victories won have in the end turned into defeats. But the true victory is the one won in Allah's sight, by struggling with your self and attaining your Lord's mercy.

He completes His blessing upon you and guides you to a straight path, it says. Guides you to a straight path. Now, concerning the Prophet (peace be upon him), it is not: He shows you a straight path.

Rather: We guide you to a straight path. Because your Lord trained him. He trained him beautifully. Yes. And He helps you with a glorious victory, it says. He helps you with a glorious victory. A glorious victory. That glorious victory, until the Day of Resurrection, as the most excellent of created beings. A glorious victory. And the glorious victory of his being created as the noblest of creatures. The glorious victory of being given a part of His spirit. And by giving the Prophet the Praised Station, He gives him a glorious victory. In the end, a victory anyway. It is He who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the believers so that they would increase their faith even more.

To Allah belong the armies of the heavens and the earth. Allah is the One who knows everything and does everything with wisdom, it says. With wisdom. He knows what the effort is; that is wisdom. Yes, they attain eternal bliss and enter among the (?), those people. This worldly life is nothing but a deceptive enjoyment. So all souls will taste death. That all these created things, from the atom to the globe, were all created by Allah, a person will know. The secret of the verse, Or do you own even an atom of your world?, he will come to grasp. In his helplessness a person will know that he needs his Lord.

And according to the verse that the inheritance of all the heavens and the earth and what is between them will remain to Allah, if we know that we will go before our Lord, into the divine presence, only with our good deeds and sins, we will live our worldly life accordingly. But if not, if we turn our backs on Allah, Allah forbid, what He has given, in our hearts, with love, (?) to Allah, (?) to what Allah has given? Look at our state.

In the world of the hereafter, in the world of the hereafter, in proportion to the covenant we gave, to a world where His Being is not seen, people Allah Almighty's sending, Allah Almighty who sends them, the events of the world of the hereafter, just as a computer program is given a password and locked, people's covenant in the world of the hereafter has been closed off to them.

Because Allah Almighty knows what his wish, desire and will in that destiny are, He gives him those characters, those characters, and writes his destiny accordingly. So We do not load on your back a burden you cannot bear, He says. According to his destiny, according to his desire and wish, He tests him with the burden he can bear, with their lives and with their wealth.

In this case a person comes to this world to prove what kind of person he is. But if that person is deceived, if the rosy appearance of the world deceives him, if his self and Satan drag him into the swamp, he wrongs his own self.

So that He makes people witness, in the world of possession, the events they will do within their destinies there, Allah Almighty has offered them the blessings of the world. Within these worldly blessings, through the desire they feel for them, these people will prove what kind of people they are. Since the covenants people gave Allah Almighty in the world of the hereafter are closed to them, within the established world order, in line with people's wishes, desires and wants, the blessings of the world are offered to them. With the blessings of the world offered to people, people exchange the blessings of the world against the word of Allah Almighty. If for the little pleasure and enjoyment of a passing world they drag the world of the hereafter to ruin, they wrong their own souls.

So Allah declares to people with His verses the events to come, so that you, carried away by the pleasures of this passing world, do not forget your Lord. Remembering that one day when every living being will taste death and be called to account one day, make no compromise on the acts of worship you will do from Allah and the Book. So according to the verse where He says, On that day the judgement belongs to Allah alone, on a day when there is no helper and no intercessor, your helper is your faith and your worship; do not forget this. It is the good deeds your two hands earned in the world; do not forget this.

Take care of this so that you are not alone on that day. Yes.
