Indeed, these devils (Shaytan) can only frighten their companions. So, if you are (truly) believers, do not fear them, only fear Allah!
Tafsir
(In this verse, Satan means Satan himself, in the sense that he is banished from the presence of Allah, cursed and condemned to solitude, and by being condemned to solitude, he means that he has given up hope in Allah and is the inhabitant of eternal Hell. Satan is cursed by being expelled from the presence of Allah and condemned to loneliness, and by being condemned to loneliness, it is meant that he has given up hope in Allah and is destined for eternal Hell.
The temptation that Satan gives to people who think like him and live in periods of ignorance, with false beliefs and promises, and even though their minds know their Lord, a fear grips the hearts of those who associate partners with Allah. They have a fear of loneliness like the devil. The enemies of Allah panic in the face of the imposing appearance of the Muslims, their strong will, the determination and courage that their faith gives to the Muslims. Therefore, the disbelievers cannot wage war against Muslims. They fight only from behind fortified fortresses.
(Fear Me, not them, if you are believers) Muslims know that by tasting death on the battlefields they will remain alive in the sight of Allah and will enjoy the blessings of an eternal life, and that their Lord will please them by bestowing favors upon them, so they look forward to the time when they will meet Allah with the love of Allah that their faith gives them. When they fight their enemies on the battlefields, they are never afraid of their enemies. This is because when a Muslim goes to war, he gives his life to Allah in advance, desiring the position of martyrdom. He has nothing left to lose. In this respect, a Muslim never fears his enemies. Muslims fear their one and only Lord and that they will disobey His command.
Muslims are people in whose hearts the love of Allah and His Messenger pervades their bodies, who have erased all created beings except Allah and His Messenger, and who have surrendered themselves to their Lord in this love.
What is said in the video
We are coming, we are coming to verse 175, Surah Al Imran, verse 175. "That is only Satan": he, above all this enemy, who roams in man's jugular veins, who leads them astray, this enemy.
If a person lives without armour, of course a bullet fired at him will harm him. But if a person is given armour, that bullet fired will not harm that person. Because he is in armour or behind a fortress, the bullets hitting that fortress, the bullets hitting that armour, bounce right back. The armour: faith, its strength, its (?) with the verses. What does Allah Almighty say? For My servant who knows Me, Satan's whispering is (?). O children of Adam! Satan is a clear enemy to you, He says. Let him not strip you stark naked and expose your private parts, He says. Let him not strip you as he stripped Adam, He says.
Yes, this has several meanings. Adam was in Paradise; he was driven out of the blessings of Paradise because he deceived him. He was banished to the world. Is this not an injustice? Secondly, he exposed their private parts, and when those private parts were seen, he had gone against Allah's commands. In this case Satan is a clear enemy to people. Although Adam's leaving Paradise was part of a plan. It was part of the written scenario. What did we tell you? Earlier, in Surah Al-Hajj, verse 53. Let's look. Surah Al-Hajj, verse 53, yes, Surah Al-Hajj, yes, we found it, 53. The verse, look what it says now: Allah permits Satan to do this, yes, He permits it so that He makes what Satan casts a means of trial for those in whose hearts is a disease and whose hearts are hardened. A trial.
A means. Allah inspires him. He makes his duties known through Islam. And the Muslim in turn does his duty. And someone must give him (?) on the evil path too. That would not befit Allah's majesty. So that he too can prove himself, he too needs a leader on the evil path. That is Satan. That is why, so that people can bring out what kind of people they are, Allah gave the rebellious Satan, Satan who is man's enemy, gave Satan a long life until the Day of Judgment. Of course these, these devils will busy themselves with people. Yes. "That is only Satan who frightens his own friends." His own friends.
That is, he frightens those who follow Satan's footsteps.
With what does he frighten? He frightens with nakedness. With what? He frightens with stinginess. That is, he frightens with want. The man has trillions. Still he sees himself in want. With that he frightens. He makes him a (?) of the world, makes him amass without asking halal or haram. With what else does he frighten him? He frightens with death. He never lets him remember death. Why does he not let him remember it? He does not want death to be mentioned. Because the life he lives, within remembrances of the nafs, a very beautiful life; for him to run that life, now (?). If he remembers death, knowing the day he will give account before Allah, he gives up following Satan's footsteps.
That is why a person does not want to remember death. Whereas people who know Allah live ready for death at every moment.
Yes. "So do not fear them, but fear Me, if you are believers," says Allah Almighty. Again, in one verse He says: if there is anyone to be feared, if there is anyone most to be feared, it is Me. And if there is anyone most to be loved, He says, it is also Me.
"That is only Satan who frightens his own friends." In this verse, by Satan, in meaning, Satan himself is meant.
Sometimes Allah Almighty speaks of two-legged devils. He sends two-legged devils from their own kind, He says. Human devils, the taghut. Satan's being cursed (?) of Allah, his being condemned to loneliness,
with his being condemned to loneliness, his losing all hope in Allah and his being among the people of Hell forever are meant. "That is only Satan," it says. That banished, cursed Satan. To people who think as Satan himself does and live through ages of ignorance, with the temptation Satan gives through false beliefs and promises, although these persons' reason knows their Lord, a fear covers the hearts of those who associate partners with Allah.
Yes.
These, like Satan, suffer a fear of loneliness. Both the fear of loneliness, and because their hearts are restless and scattered, they seek a (?) to lean on. And that (?), the only (?) to lean on, is Allah. And because they are far from Allah, their hearts are in panic. So, it says, he frightens only those who are like himself.
Before the imposing appearance of the Muslims, their firm will, the determination and courage their faith gives the Muslims, those who are enemies of Allah fall into panic.
Yes, when they see the will in the Muslims, when they see that resolve, they feel inferior. So to rid themselves of this inferiority, to draw those Muslims into their own ranks, they spare no effort they can make. Money if it's money, (?), (?), whatever there is they promise, they promise. As long as they satisfy their nafs, as long as (?) before Islam, seeing themselves as possessing grandeur above them, as long as they satisfy their own nafs. They are in these feelings.
That is their pride and their arrogance.
Today too, here is the state of the Muslims.
What is the state of the Muslim, Hodja? Pay attention. We live in ignorance. Those who have not grasped their own honourable place, who burn with love of Europe, who are consumed by admiration for Europe,
who put names on their shops in (?) languages, poor people.
A person shows what he is. He shows it at once. How beautifully Mevlana says it. Tell me (?), and I will tell you where you are, he says. And today, because people's lives have drifted away from religion, in that ignorance the admiration for Europe. (?) Europe is finished. Finished. Morally and economically and socially, it is finished. Even their hope of helping one another is running out. They are in their last throes. In their throes. They are looking for salvation. Look at Turkey. Rose gardens, beauty. Is this not a blessing of Allah? That those who live Islam, who have faith, and who have character live with peace in their hearts within their Islamic feelings: is this not Allah's grace to people?
But people do not wish for these. A fish does not know it is in water. Only when it is taken out of the water, when it needs water, does it understand that there is life in water. People are the same. As long as he breathes, he does not know the value of that air. But when (?) his throat, or he gets asthma, then he understands the value of breathing, of taking in air. People are in this state. They cannot understand Islam, they cannot live it. Although Islam gives them life, they try to line up on the side of the enemies, they try.
Truly a pitiful state. They, humiliated by Islam's being proud and strong-willed, while they spend every effort they can to rid themselves of that feeling of inferiority, you, in that (?) life of yours, in a besotted age of ignorance, that, sir, not using your reason, within the feelings of the nafs, you live in admiration of Europe. Mashallah, mashallah. You live modern with that ignorance of yours; a mashallah for that too. And you live enlightened with that ignorance of yours; mashallah for that too.
Well, education in knowledge: which of us has knowledge, which of us has knowledge, which of us is trying to (?) be saved, which of us, with efforts that will bring us to the level of advanced states, sir, wholeheartedly longing, pursues knowledge? (?) has such beautiful words: advanced states, (?), to the level of those advanced states, he says, we will rise. Of course. Not through immorality, not through the feelings of the nafs; living in ignorance, with the feelings of the nafs, drifting away from religion and faith, one does not become enlightened. Nor modern.
Yes.
To people who think as Satan himself does and live through ages of ignorance, with the temptation Satan gives through false beliefs and promises, and although these persons' reason knows their Lord, the hearts of those who associate partners with Allah are covered by a fear.
These, like Satan, suffer a fear of loneliness. Before the imposing appearance of the Muslims, their firm will, the determination and courage their faith gives the Muslims, those who are enemies of Allah fall into panic. Yes, gentlemen, my children, to these verses, the lives that our Lord made known to us by inspiration, He makes us live them, the words corresponding to those lives.
That is why the unbelievers can never fight the Muslims face to face. They only fight from behind fortified, that is, strong fortresses. From behind strong fortresses. Against the forsaken, the helpless, the destitute, the unarmed, you will not find anyone in the world more (?) than them. Whereas to those going to war the Prophet (peace be upon him) (?): women, children, those working in the fields, cutting green trees, cutting forests: never go near them, he used to say. What does it say? Do not go near women, children, those working in the fields, or cutting trees. Everything has its proper conduct.
That is why, look how honourable the Muslim is, how feeling, standing by the helpless and the forsaken, merciful towards Allah's servants in whatever way it may be. But for his life, his honour, his nation, his homeland, against (?), he is an armoured warrior. That is what a human being is. That is the human being our Lord wants to see.
That is why we must be wise. We must use our reason. We must understand the verses well.
"If you are believers, fear not them but Me," says Allah Almighty.
The Muslims know that by tasting death on the battlefields they will remain alive with Allah and attain the grace and bliss of an eternal life, and that their Lord will please them by bestowing favours on them. That is why, with the love of Allah their faith gives them, they fight impatiently awaiting the time they will meet Allah Almighty. They fight. Yes. These are Muslims. For their religion, their faith, their honour, their nation, their homeland, they fight. Your enemy does not want to see these in you. Because he wants to tear you to pieces and swallow you bite by bite. Faced with your dignity, he wants to humiliate you and satisfy the grandeur of his own nafs.
Will you allow this? Will you submit to these desires of theirs?
My Muslim brother never does this. He does not do this. Yes.
While clashing with his enemies on the battlefields, he never fears his enemies. This fearlessness is the peak of the love of Allah in his heart, the peak of meeting his Lord, the peak of remaining alive. Do not call them dead.
According to the verse in which He says they are given sustenance in ways you do not know. Those impatient to reach their Lord's mercy as soon as possible.
These do not fear death. Hodja, don't you fear it either? Whatever we say about that would be a lie; that time will show. That is, the situation there will show. What is this situation there you speak of? If they shot you before my eyes, killed you, if they tried to violate a person's honour and dignity, his chastity, could you bear that?
First you make your chest a shield. That is why I say that on that day a person's state of mind is completely different. Yes, this too is a quality Allah gives the one who is Muslim because of the faith in his heart. The unbeliever does not have this. The unbeliever, when he sees the one next to him shot, flees, is afraid. He moans. But the Muslim rears up. Yes.
Because the Muslim, on the (?) of the war horse, longing for the (?) of martyrdom, is a person who gives his life to Allah in advance. He no longer has anything to lose.
Because of his faith, the Muslim has handed his life over to Allah in advance. (?).
That is why the Muslim never fears enemies. Muslims fear only their Lord and going against Allah Almighty's command. Yes. As long as Allah does not exclude me. People excluding me does not matter at all. Why does it not matter? Look what Allah Almighty says in the verse. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Fe in tevellev fe kul hasbiyallahu la ilahe illa hu, aleyhi tevekkeltu ve huve Rabbu'l arşi'l-azim. But here, it says, if people turn their backs on you,
if none of them is with you, say: Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of the great Throne, is enough for me, it says.
Pay great attention to this verse.
The love of Allah and His Messenger in the Muslims' hearts has covered their bodies. This love has erased in them all created beings other than Allah and His Messenger, and thus they have surrendered themselves to their Lord in such a love; such are these people. If you say: are you like that, Hodja? One who cannot live that feeling cannot write this. You will not find these words in other books either.
