Translation

Those who trade belief for denial cannot harm Allah with anything. For them, there is a severe punishment.

Tafsir

If a person accepts Islam, embraces the religion of Islam, believes in the oneness of Allah, and then turns back to disbelief and returns to the age of ignorance, he is wronging his own soul. They cannot harm Allah with their apostasy from Islam. Nor will the religion of Islam disappear with those who turn away from it. Therefore, their compromise and departure from Islam, their turning away from Allah and returning to their own souls, is a preparation for their own destruction in the Hereafter. Whatever one earns in this world, he will leave all his wealth in this world and will only take with him the rewards and sins of what he has earned. Allah (swt), the Judge of Judges, will not treat anyone unfairly except for what he has earned, and will reward everyone for what he has earned in full in the Hereafter.

If, after faith, the life of this world seems attractive to him, and he realizes that his love and affection is for Allah, and then he turns away from Allah because of the ornaments of the mortal world, because of the pleasure of his nafs, and he turns to Allah's creatures, and he covets matter and turns away from the Verses of Allah, these are the ones who have no share in the Hereafter, and who have bought the painful torment of the Hereafter.

What is said in the video

Surah Al Imran, verse 177. The verse. "Certainly," says Allah Almighty, definitely certain; all of it is certain, but this is definitely certain. That is, believe this now, He says, believe it. "Those who buy denial in exchange for faith": man, if, knowing that your Lord is the truth, you abandon Islam, if you do not enter it, if you take denial and continue in it, "they cannot harm Allah in the least. For them there is a painful torment," He says. Again He makes it definite: there is a painful torment.

So people come along nicely, they explain nicely that the deniers will remain in Hell forever, then when it says "for them there is a painful torment", this supposedly does not amount to eternity. "There is a painful torment": this supposedly does not amount to endlessness.

And it is written in an Islamic catechism.

In an Islamic catechism. A huge book. They wrote it.

Since it does not amount to eternity, they would supposedly come out of there and go to Paradise. According to one view, they would supposedly turn to ashes. That is, it burned the spirit, scorched it, turned it to ashes. If it burned and scorched the spirit and turned it to ashes, then it turned Allah to ashes too. Because (?).

There are some secrets that, if I told them, your brains would burst.

The time comes, they press; that is, these verses said this, but it is not possible. It is not possible. That is why I swallow my words. I hold myself back, I hold myself back with difficulty.

People who do not know these things, who do not know these places, go astray like this.

A painful torment is supposedly not eternal. (?) he too would come out. No, theirs too is eternal, and for them there is a painful torment, says Allah Almighty: eternal, and a painful torment. But Hodja, you said that after burning for many thousands of years they will not feel, they will no longer taste? Still a painful torment, an eternal torment, an eternal torment. He will remove the nerve senses, (?) of Hell will come, they will burn, but not feel it. Is that not a painful torment? Is that not an eternal torment? An eternal torment. It will be lifted from being a painful torment: an eternal torment.

How can you say it is not like this but like that about the word of Allah Almighty? Up to a point you come along right, right, and after that, along with the words, you go astray. Now (?) these. They wrote it. Yes.

A person accepts Islam. He is honoured with the religion of Islam. If he believes in the oneness of Allah and has faith, then turns back and chooses unbelief, if he returns to the age of ignorance, he has wronged his own self. He has wronged. So what does it say? "Certainly, those who buy denial in exchange for faith." Are there none today? There are. In exchange for money they give land and home. They make Christian propaganda. They turn some people of certain mindsets, of ideologies, to their side. They broadcast their films on television, and mansions, palaces they gave the man. (?), he sits there, sir: because I did this, because I went there, they bestowed this favour and that favour on me.

People are deceived with money, and to live like them they abandon their religion. Qarun's story comes to my mind. Every week he would dress up and adorn himself, go out before his people and boast. As for the keys to his treasures, it is said that thirty, forty people could hardly carry them. The keys to the treasures. In this case, in this case Allah Almighty: is it you who are the owner of the treasures, is it you who stand before your people and boast? And those people who said: if only we were like Qarun too; before their eyes He buries Qarun together with his palace into the depths of the earth.

After that, those who said: if only we were like them, that is, like Qarun, immediately turn back. Good thing we were not like him, they say. Good thing we did not follow him, they say. Yes. That is why if these, after faith, return to unbelief, to unbelief, they go without faith. They say: they become subject to an eternal, painful torment. It is a human being. He has believed. Then he has gone to unbelief. Then he has repented again and entered Islam. Such a person is called a murtad, a turncoat. They call him a turncoat. But if he still goes honoured with the light of Islam, he still gets off the hook.

When I say he gets off the hook, I do not mean he goes straight to Paradise. His (?) and sins are weighed. Whichever side is heavier, he takes his way from that side. But I said it in the sense that he does not stay in Hell forever; he gets off the hook.

By drifting away from Islam these cannot do Allah any harm. The religion of Islam... yes, the religion of Islam, by those who leave Islam, will not be left stranded. Never will the religion of Islam, if you abandoned it, I abandoned it, he abandoned it, never will the religion of Islam be left stranded. Those who come after (?), for Allah will continue His religion until the Day of Judgment. That is why their compromising and leaving Islam,

their becoming murtad, their leaving Allah and turning to their own nafs, is their preparing their own destruction in the hereafter.

Whatever anyone earns from this world, he leaves all his property in the world, and apart from that he will take only the reward and sin of what he earned. Allah Almighty, as the Judge of judges, treating no one unjustly beyond what they earned, will give everyone the full recompense of what they earned in the hereafter. Because He, Eleysallahu bi-ahkemi'l-hakimin, He is the Judge of judges. He never discriminates among His creatures and never does injustice. Yes.

So after faith, if, merely because worldly life looks attractive to him, having realised that love and (?) belong to Allah, after that, a person, because his nafs takes pleasure in the adornments of the transient world, leaves Allah, if he turns to Allah's creatures, covets matter, turns away from Allah's verses, then these are people who have no share in the hereafter and who at the same time buy the painful torment of the hereafter. Who buy a torment of the hereafter. Yes.
