Why did Allah create human beings? Was there anything before the spirits were created?

What is said in the video
Let's take up why He created, then. That's probably why he is saying this. Isn't that right, Ismail? You're not saying "from what did He create". You're saying "why did He create". If you say "from what did You create" — "from what did He create" — the meaning differs. If you say "why did He create", the meaning differs. Now, as I said a moment ago, from what did He create? Did He create from earth? Or, sir, from His spirit? Or did He create from water? From what did He create? But if one says "why did He create", the matter changes. If one says "from what did He create", the matter changes.
He says "why". Yes. He says "why did He create". Right. I assumed that is how I had read it anyway. Allah Almighty subsists by His own essence.
He has the attribute Hu. Hu means subsisting by His own essence. Now, people sometimes call each other "hucu". Hucu. Sir, what does hucu mean? They don't know its source. Now, you make dhikr of Allah. I mean, we are having a broad talk. So that it is understood better in this talk. Let's explain it. Our lesson will continue anyway.
Allah Almighty has the attribute Hayy. He has the attribute Hu. Now, because people get angry, they make dhikr at people, you know. They recite the name Hu. The name Hu is in dhikr. For example, "Allahu la ilaha illa Hu", it says. Since here it goes by the letters: Allah, Lillah, Illa — that Allah, besides whom there is none; Hu, who subsists by His own essence — these words carry all the letters, all the words of Allah anyway. In this case, Allah Almighty, at the very beginning — what is His beginning? We cannot know. He has no beginning. One of the noble angels wonders about this. He says, I will go to the beginning of Allah.
To His beginning.
As he goes on, he joins a current. Where are you going? To a current. He says, I am going to the beginning of Allah. But I cannot get out of the current, he says. The noble angels. That's how they tell it. And I give this as an example. Even though it is a narration, it is a fine narration.
I was caught in a current and I'm going, he says. I can't hear you, come close to my ear, he says, to my ear. For years, he says, in such a current for a long time, he says. I came close to his ear and saw that I was inside a palm, he says. Such a noble angel has grasped it by now.
Where are you going, he asks; I am going to the beginning of Allah, he says. I too wanted to go to His beginning like you, and I saw that His beginning is mixed with His end, he says. His beginning is mixed with His end. You cannot know the beginning of Allah. He subsists by His essence. It is a secret, the secret in His essence. We cannot know.
In this case, Allah Almighty — That means no one is aware of the beginning or the end of Allah Almighty. One thing you know: He exists by His essence.
If one turns from the lacking attribute, He wants to create a being. A being. He wants those beings to know His essence. That is: I was a hidden treasure, I willed to be known, He says. With the Prophet too — Allah Almighty in His verse: I created him from My light. Then He gives him of His spirit. To the Prophet. He gives of His spirit.
That light He keeps in worship for 78,000 years. Then He asks it questions. Through questions and answers the light sweats. He creates a jewel of the Prophet. A jewel. And He divides that jewel into four. From one He creates the earth, from the other the heavens, from the third what is between the heavens and the earth, and from the fourth the water, and He sets it upon the water. That is, He created everything from water. Allah Almighty wants to let us know. Since earlier He was hidden in His essence, and since these were created from the light of the Prophet, and since Allah Almighty gave that light to the Prophet, He makes His essence a mirror to His essence, and creates a being so close to His essence that, since He also gave it of His spirit, He holds it as the one addressed by His essence.
So why did He create? So that His essence be known. So that His essence be known. After that, so that mankind can come to earth, He prepares the ground for him. Up to that ground Allah Almighty creates many beings. Many beings.
These beings — except the jinn, that is, except humans and jinn — Allah Almighty programs all that He created according to His own desire and will, according to the duties they will carry out. I mean, like robots, as we know. He leaves humans and jinn free in their own will. So that they can earn reward and sin. So that the jinn too are left free in their will, Allah Almighty, within the scenario He will write — the scenario He will write, or the scenarios that the creatures He will create will play — through the inspiration He will give to man, within his own nature, so that man can play out his covenant, and through the temptations that will be given to him, so that every person can declare their own nafs, so that they can openly declare their own nafs — through such hints and proofs Allah Almighty will create causes for man within them.
And people, by carrying out those causes, those actual deeds, will prove what kind of person they are. Accordingly, what we understand from what we have understood so far is that He created us for His essence, so that His essence be known; that is, people at the very beginning — the first one created, the first created, before any other being was created — that is why the Prophet looks and says: Allah first created me. That is, his spirit. Allah first created the Pen, Allah first created the Intellect, he says. The Intellect. So He gives to people the Pen and the Intellect, the first created things.
In this case, Allah Almighty — you know, an unknown treasure willed to be known. So people knowing their Lord with their own partial will fits Allah Almighty's purpose of creation. He was the possessor of such knowledge that He willed it to be known. That is why He created man. Again, what does Ismet's question say? Let's take a look there. He had a second question. And what was there before the spirits were created? Before the spirits were created there was no realm at all. There was only Allah. He asks about before the spirits were created. There was no realm at all. There was only Allah. Then Allah — Allah first created Muhammad from His light.
From his light He created this universe. There's no spirit yet, see. No spirit yet. All the power is Allah Almighty's. What does it say anyway? They ask you about the spirit. Say: it is a command of my Lord. So, since the spirit was not yet created, since these realms were created from light, and since the spirit was given afterwards, before the spirits were created there was nothing. There was only Allah Almighty. Yes. Ismet: why did He create, and what was there before the spirits were created? I suppose we've understood this too, haven't we? Because first He created the light of the Prophet, then from that light He created a jewel and created the realms, then the spirit of the Prophet — He gave him a spirit from His own spirit, and from his spirit He created the spirits of the prophets.
That means before the spirits were created there was no being in the universe other than Allah. The only being was Allah. That's it: He was an unknown treasure. He willed to be known.
