Allah will teach him writing, wisdom, the Torah and the Bible.

Tafsir

With this statement Allah (swt) is trying to explain to us that He is omnipotent with His knowledge. It is not that Allah will come to Jesus and teach him how to read and write. Then how will He teach him to write? Allah (swt) has placed the brain inside the skull of human beings. Within this brain there are memories. Whatever a person sees and learns is stored in his brain, and he remembers what he has seen and learned, and when he needs it, he remembers it and speaks or does that job. To give an example of this, take a computer, whatever you write on this computer, this computer keeps what you write in its memory and brings it to you whenever you want. If Allah (swt) places the literacy program that is in the memory of that computer in the memory of a person, that person will know how to read and write and speak as if he has seen it and learned it.

This phenomenon is manifested today as miracles of Allah. In the oceans, a species of fish travels thousands of miles to lay eggs. The fish dies after laying its eggs. Its offspring follow the same path back to where their mother came from. Who shows them this path? Inside those eggs, in the brain, which can only be seen under a microscope, the path to the fish is introduced and its duties are explained to it. All creatures other than human beings are programmed in this way and carry out their duties according to the purpose for which they were created.

With this knowledge of creation, such creations are not difficult for Allah (swt). Allah (swt) says in Surah Yasin, Verse seventy-nine (Say, He who created them first will resurrect them, for He knows every kind of creation). According to this verse, is it harder to create for the first time or to recreate something that has already been created? Of course, the first creation is more difficult. Once something is created, it is not difficult for Allah to create it anymore. This is because Allah (swt) has placed the seeds of the objects He has created in the beings He has created and programmed these seeds with the tasks they will perform. The creatures fulfill their duties by producing their offspring in line with these programs.

Allah will teach him (wisdom). Wisdom means that when Allah willed and created something, what did He create it for, what is its mission? Only Allah knows this. By informing people of these wisdoms as much as their share, Allah (swt) introduces His existence and His glory to people.

Wisdom, on the other hand, is a wisdom that informs people of the secret of what an event that seems to be guilty is for what purpose and for what purpose. For example, the friendship between Khidr 'alaihis-salâm' and Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm', and the fact that Khidr 'alaihis-salâm' made a hole in the ship for no reason, and repaired the wall even though they did not give them food, are all based on wisdom. Allah will give such wisdom to Hazrat Jesus.

Allah will teach him (the Torah), the Torah that was revealed to Moses, Jesus will know what is in the Torah, and He will give him the book of the Gospel. All the prophets come confirming each other and believing in the truth of the preceding book. By teaching the Torah, we mean the coming of a new book that will remove the human fabrications that have been inserted into the Torah, and that will consolidate and bind them together in matters where people differ, and its prophets will confirm them, and will explain to people the oneness of Allah and invite them to Allah, explaining to them that there is no God but Allah.

What is said in the video

Of Surah Al-Imran, verse 48, we continue. For Jesus, Allah Almighty says: Allah will teach him writing, wisdom, the Torah, the Gospel — writing too. In the earlier lessons we said that the One who created the universe, Allah Almighty, the One who created this universe, Allah Almighty, all beings has programmed. If, apart from man, we pay attention to the animal kingdom, they all see very well the duty they will do. They fulfill those duties very well. How do these creatures accomplish them? He engraved them into their memories, and those animals know the duties they will do. If Allah Almighty had engraved into our memory the work we will do, we would know it too, of course.

But what does it say for Jesus? He will teach him writing. He inscribed it into his memory. It's not that He will take our (?) and teach him; He inscribed it in memory. He will teach him the Gospel, give him wisdom. Wisdom: his knowing some things from the universe, and telling of some events. Grasping the meanings of the verses. Yes, what do we say now? Allah will teach him writing, wisdom, the Torah, the Gospel. Allah Almighty will teach Jesus writing. With one word of His, Allah is trying to explain to people, to us, that with His knowledge He has power over everything, we said. Here, Allah Almighty is not going to come to Jesus (peace be upon him) and teach him reading and writing. We wrote the same here anyway.

So how will He teach writing? Allah Almighty placed the brain inside people's skull. Inside this brain there are memories. A person keeps what he sees and learns in his memory inside his brain, and whatever that person has seen and learned, when needed he remembers it and speaks, or does that work.

To give an example of this: take a computer. Whatever you write and save on this computer, it keeps what you wrote in its memory. Whatever you want, it brings up whenever you want. And if Allah Almighty places the reading and writing program that is in that computer's memory into a person's memory, that person knows reading and writing as if he had seen and learned it, and speaks. Yes.

These are the miracles of Allah Almighty, with His art of creation, upon people.

So He does what He wills. What He wills. Here it is what He wills. Not everything is Allah's willing. People's willing. But there is also our Lord's willing. If we can tell these apart, we are saved from ascribing attributes to Allah Almighty and from slandering Him. For example: if Allah had willed, He would have made me like this, like that. That is what leads a person to kufr. Allah wills for you to be good. But because He gave you the will, what you are to do within your own will, He makes known to you. If you do good or bad, with what you did, with the will you exercised, that is, by actual deeds, He will (?) or punish you.

Here there is no willing of Allah Almighty in your (?). But there is also Allah Almighty's willing. For example, what does it say? Allah will teach him writing, wisdom, the Torah, the Gospel. And here, that He personally takes on being his teacher, and that our Lord will teach Jesus writing — this is our Lord's willing. Many miracles will come about. In these miracles people will in no way be able to ascribe attributes to Allah's (?). For example, the Prophet (peace be upon him) could not read or write. He represented the four books (?). And so he was a great scholar. A great scholar. The greatest scholar among created beings.

Again, to a person who was taught reading and writing by no one, Allah Almighty will teach reading and writing. This too — with our Lord's greatness, bringing about what He wills in the way He wills — the questions people will ask He cuts off in their minds. In this way a person is cut off from questions. For example, one will say: was there someone who taught him reading and writing, Jesus? Though no one taught him reading and writing, He taught Jesus reading and writing. Though he learned reading and writing from no one, and though Allah Almighty did not teach me reading and writing, (?), that is, is there a person who memorized the Quran and is a scholar in every field?

The Prophet (peace be upon him) is a scholar in every field. A great commander, a great economist, a great statesman, well, a great scholar, a man of religion. That is, in every way, the greatest virtues he carries — a prophet. So the questions people would ask — from people's minds, in every case, Allah Almighty makes them pass with the events He has created.

This event appears today as Allah's miracles. (?) a fish (?), going thousands of (?), lays its eggs; the fish, after leaving its eggs, dies. Its young, following the same route, return to where their mothers came from. Who teaches them this route? Inside those eggs, in its brain that can only be seen under a microscope, the fish — in the fish's brain — the route it will take has been made known, and its duties have been told to it. All creatures except humans are programmed this way and, toward their purposes, their duties they carry on. This too is among the miracles of our day. We see the salmon.

In that egg-laying season they open their (?). From those cliffs, from (?) toward cliffs they leap, toward those high rocks they leap. Both the provision of the creatures Allah Almighty created it secures — the bears eating them nicely there (?) — and they, according to that purpose, first leaving their eggs, and there too dying; after those eggs, those salmon again going to their own place in the oceans where they are to go.

Migratory birds. How do they find their way? Migratory birds. Well, with the magnetism of the North Pole, within the current of its magnetism, with the receivers He has placed in their bodies, they, like a receiver-transmitter station, within that device — we'll call it a device now — within that (?) field, we'll say, continue on their way. This is like a (?) device. Well, I mean like a radio compass device. A radio compass device. Planes find their way like that too. For example, say it took off from Istanbul, the plane goes to Athens, or to New York, or to Paris, it goes. Right from where it took off, say the weather is overcast.

Very overcast weather.

The radio (?) signal of Paris or London where it is going, at how many degrees — say at 130 degrees, the beat of its radio (?), say, it keeps beating two short (?). It will bring that signal to 130 degrees; in a short while the pilot — the radio compass turns to the (?) direction, at once he takes the aircraft in that direction; even if the weather is overcast, when it comes over that airfield, he himself cannot know it, since the weather is overcast. But after the radio compass passes the airfield it (?), it turns back the other way. The pilot understands: I am over the airfield. Allah Almighty has given migratory birds such qualities.

They find their way within that magnetic field. So our Lord has programmed everything. Within a program. Everything has been created within a framework of knowledge. Knowledge. No such esoteric stuff, no superstition. No 'such and such happened, so and so, he went there, flew from here, ran off here'. To get onto the roof you use a ladder. The man (?) an elevator uses. Now, he did not use an elevator, did not use a ladder, nor did a helicopter come and pull you up with its winch. No one, by no person — you didn't become something, hop, you ran off there, went, went there, went here. People are fond of such things anyway.

He did this, that one did that, he flew there, this one ran off there. Whereas Allah Almighty has made knowledge noble. Knowledge is noble, He says, knowledge. And He created the universe from knowledge. Yes.

So Allah Almighty, with this knowledge of creation — for Allah Almighty such creations are not hard. Allah Almighty, Surah Ya-Sin, verse 79: Say, He who created them the first time will revive them. For He knows every kind of creation very well. In the noble Ya-Sin. Yes, according to this verse, is the first creation harder? Or is it harder to create again an object already created? We ask. Of course, the first creation is harder. Because bringing something into being from nothing is truly hard. This is easy for Allah too, and Allah (?) creation, but compared with the first creation, the last creation is easier. What does it say anyway?

Look what it says here now. Say, He who created them the first time will revive them. For He knows every kind of creation very well. Yes, now, bringing something into being from nothing, designing and bringing it into being; after bringing it into being, destroying it again and (?) it is very easy. Why? Easy, because He will place seeds in it, and those seeds its continuation will ensure. Of course the first creation is harder. Once something is created, creating it again is not hard for Allah Almighty. Because Allah Almighty, placing the seeds of the things He created inside the beings He created, programs into these seeds too the duties they will do.

Created beings, in line with these programs, produce their generations and fulfill their duties. Allah to him wisdom will teach, you had said. Wisdom too is meaning: when Allah wills something and creates it, why He created it, what its duty is — only Allah knows this. And making some of these wisdoms known to people as allotted is so that Allah's existence and greatness are made known to people.

Wisdom, we said: wisdom — of an event that looks like a wrong, with what intentions and why it was done, revealing that secret to people is a wisdom.

A person looks guilty. Why did he do it, why did it happen? This, well, is what is made known to people. For example, we said: Khidr (peace be upon him) and Moses (peace be upon him) keeping company, and Khidr (peace be upon him) boring a hole in the ship for no reason, damaging it. It looks like a wrong. Moses (peace be upon him) says to him: you did a grave thing. You bored a hole in the ship of these (?), these innocent people, he says. And Khidr (peace be upon him) says: did I not tell you — in a matter whose inner side you do not know, you cannot keep company with me. Well, he doesn't know the inner side of the matter.

So in our last lesson we said: wisdom goes hand in hand with the knowledge of ledün.

Wisdom.

What does it say to (?)? He who knows does not say, and the other does not know. What? The knowledge of ledün. Yes.

His mending the wall although they gave them food — although they did not give it, his mending the wall rests on a wisdom. Such wisdoms He will give to Jesus (peace be upon him). They pass by a village; they are very hungry. In that village, whomever they went to, they do not give them food. And they are hungry. Khidr (peace be upon him) repairs a wall that is about to collapse. Moses: these people gave us no food here, and you are doing them a kindness, he says. You are repairing these walls, he says. Although they gave no food. Again he does not know the wisdom there. Because there are two orphans there.

And under it there is gold. And that gold will be the lot of these children. If that wall had collapsed now, others would have taken these children's gold. That is why Khidr (peace be upon him) repaired that wall by Allah's command — raising it up, and the wall guarding those children's provision until the time comes. It rests on wisdom, of course. When you don't know, people appear guilty.

Yes. Allah Almighty will give such wisdoms to Jesus (peace be upon him). He will tell the (?) of many things. For example, he says: I will tell you what you ate at home today. and what you keep in your homes, we will tell too, he says.

These are Allah's miracles upon him.

Allah will teach him the Torah. Jesus.

Revealed to Moses — Allah will teach him the Torah. This 'will teach the Gospel', we said. Here we made an omission. We'll say 'the Torah, the Gospel' here. We wrote 'the Torah'. Let's correct that.

Will teach the Gospel. The Torah revealed to Moses — Jesus will know the contents of the Torah, and He will give him the book of the Gospel. All prophets come confirming one another. And they believe that the books that came before are true. This too we wrote correctly. Again we'll make that 'the Torah'. We'll make it 'the Torah'.

Yes.

Allah will teach him the Torah. The Torah revealed to Moses — Jesus will know the contents of the Torah, and He will give him the book of the Gospel. All prophets come confirming one another, and that the books before them are true they believe. From 'will teach the Torah' (?). That the Torah is a book sent by Allah — here again as 'the Torah' we wrote it. Let's see how it continues; I'll have that corrected here. Well, that the Torah is a book sent, given by Allah, in the events over which people fell into division, it will reinforce them and bind them to one another — that is, with the coming of a book, confirming the prophets, it will explain to people Allah's oneness, and that there is no god besides Allah — telling people this, it will invite people to Allah.

Yes.

Here we'll say 'will teach the Gospel' (?). Yes.

They will teach the Gospel. Simple.

Since the Torah is a book sent by Allah, yes, in the events over which people fell into division, it will reinforce them and bind them together — a new book, that is, with the coming of the Gospel — let's add that here too, let's say 'that is'. That is, with the Gospel's coming, confirming the prophets, to people Allah's oneness it will explain, and that there is no god besides Allah, by telling people, it will invite people to Allah.
