Translation

He will become a Messenger to the sons of Israel and he will say; “I have brought a miracle from your Lord. I can make the figure of a bird from clay, breath into it and with the permission of Allah, it becomes a bird. And with the permission of Allah, I can heal the blind and leper and I can resurrect the dead. And I can tell you what you eat and store in your houses. In this, there is a lesson if you are among the believers.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) informs us that He has sent Jesus (pbuh) to the Children of Israel as a messenger, that is, as a prophet. He will invite the people of Israel to Allah with many miracles from Allah. Allah will grant many miracles to Jesus so that when people see them, they will believe in the existence of Allah.

One of them: Blowing on the image of a bird made of mud, and this mud image becoming a living bird by Allah's permission. Raising the dead from the graves by Allah's permission, and giving sight to the blind who were born blind.

In addition, one of the miracles given to Jesus was that he saved them with the permission of Allah from the disease that plagued his skin, which is a kind of skin disease that changes the color of the skin.

In addition to this, the fact that he informed them of what they ate and drank in their homes and what they had stored in their homes with the permission of Allah, and that Jesus was the servant and Messenger of Allah, and that he was sent as a prophet to the people of Israel, and that they should obey Allah, and that there is no other God but Allah, by proving to this people with these miracles that there is no other God but Allah, will make the people who will come after them hear that there is no other God but Allah until the Day of Judgment.

(There are signs for you in this if you are believers): O people! By Jesus, whom I have sent as a messenger, I have created events which are beyond the reach of human power and which no human being could ever comprehend or comprehend, namely, creating Jesus without a father, raising the dead from the dead with Allah's permission, giving sight to the blind, and healing those who have tawny eyes, Allah informs us with this verse that the one who informs you about what is eaten and drunk in the houses is not an event that a human being can accomplish, but that he did it with the permission of Allah Himself, and that there is no other God but Allah, and that there are many signs in these for people of sound mind. He proves to us that His Essence is eternal and that there is no other God but Allah, the Eternal and Everlasting.

What is said in the video

He will be a messenger to the Children of Israel. Who is this? It is about Jesus. This is where we had left off.

I have brought you a miracle from your Lord. I make for you the form of a bird out of clay, breathe into it, and by Allah's leave it becomes a bird. Again by Allah's leave I heal the blind and the leper, and I bring the dead to life. And I tell you what you eat and what you store in your houses. Surely there is a lesson in this for you, if you are believers, he says. This is how Jesus (peace be upon him) addresses his people. Allah Almighty gives him certain miracles. Miracles never come from any prophet himself.

By the knowledge of Allah Almighty and by the leave of our Lord,

to the prophets, so that the seal of the prophets' prophethood is signified, and so that people, believing in him through the superhuman miracles he showed, recognise that he is a prophet, and so that Allah Almighty, making His servants obey His prophet, makes His command heard by His servants: these are the signs He gives to His prophets. That is, they are miracles.

To Jesus, too: in the shape of clay, out of clay, in the shape of a bird, he makes a bird, and when he says 'kum biiznillah' to it, it flies by Allah's grace. When he rubs his hand over the blind, their eyes open; what is called leprosy, certain things on their skin that are like frog skin, he removes. Such miracles were given to Jesus.

What do we write in our commentary? Allah Almighty makes known that He sent Jesus (peace be upon him) as a messenger to the Children of Israel, that is, as a prophet. He will call the people of Israel to Allah with many miracles from Allah. Allah Almighty will grant Jesus many miracles, so that when people see them, they believe in Allah's existence and have faith. As I said a moment ago, Allah will give miracles to His prophets, and the prophets, by showing these miracles, by showing events beyond human power, so that people say: yes, this is not magic. This is an event that happens only by Allah's power, and truly this is Allah's servant and Messenger, a prophet; and so that we learn from our prophets our Lord's commands over us and what He wants from us, Allah Almighty gives the prophets miracles: the origin of the miracles.

It rests on this. One of these: when he breathes into the form of a bird made of clay, this clay form becomes a living bird by Allah's leave; raising the dead in the graves by Allah's leave; and making those born blind see. Also leprosy, that is, a kind of skin disease that afflicts the skin and changes its colour: his saving them from this disease by Allah's leave is among the miracles given to Jesus. Just as many miracles were given to Moses. His hand shining when he put it under his armpit and drew it out, his staff gathering up the serpents when he threw it on the ground; against Pharaoh, blood, locusts, frogs, drought, many such miracles given to them, events created.

This is our Lord's mercy upon His servants. Hodja, how can these calamities be a mercy? Look, how do these calamities turn into mercy? If a person goes on in rebellion without seeing these, even though Allah Almighty made it known to him, if he did not believe, he departs as a disbeliever. But such miracles are a mercy to people, and as Pharaoh said: O Moses, I believe in your Lord, take this blood away. The blood is taken away, and again he goes on with his own claim, his claim to be god. With the locusts: O Moses, take them away, he says, I believe in your Lord. The plague is lifted, and again he carries on with his claim.

Among them, those who are to turn back do turn back, and these calamities become a mercy for those who turn back. So here is the mercy in it. Yes.

Besides this, the things eaten and drunk in their houses, the things they stored in their houses, his telling them of these by Allah's leave; that Jesus is Allah's servant and Messenger, that he was sent as a prophet to the people of Israel, and that they should obey Allah; that apart from Allah's oneness there is no other god, by proving this to this people with these miracles, and to the people coming after them as well, that there is no god but Allah, until the Day of Judgement, he has made known. But here, but, truly there is much meaning in this 'but'. The people of the Children of Israel, so used to killing prophets,

this people of the Children of Israel, used to stirring up strife on earth, this people of the Children of Israel who spread corruption on earth, this people of the Children of Israel whom Allah Almighty has cursed, set out to kill him too. They set out to kill him too. But instead, Allah Almighty made the commander who went inside appear in the form of Jesus, and had that commander hanged. Jesus, however, is still alive in the first heaven. Alive. He too will meet Allah's decree. That is, he will taste death. He too will taste death. When? The Mahdi will appear, and he will become a follower of the Mahdi. A follower.

Why a follower? Can a prophet become a follower? If the prophet is alive right now, if he has not tasted death, if that prophet is also going to come to the world, then in this case, in this case, if Allah Almighty's verse said of Muhammad (peace be upon him) 'the Seal of the Prophets', if Allah's word is not to contradict itself, then if Jesus comes to the world as a prophet, the verses would clash. That would mean they contradict each other. So whose follower will a prophet become? He has the attribute of a prophet. He will become a follower of the Mahdi. So who is the Mahdi? He is none other than the Prophet (peace be upon him) (?), after all.

Could he become a follower of anyone else? Would such a prophet choose a commander over himself? But Muhammad (peace be upon him), who came as a mercy to both worlds, is of course a commander over him. So he is the one who has tasted death and is alive: the Prophet. The Mahdi will come a second time, and he will become his follower. Yes.

We continue with our lesson. Surely there is a lesson in this for you, if you are believers, he says. A lesson. What lesson? Of a messenger sent by Allah Almighty to the worlds; of the One who rules, who owns the worlds and has power over all things, Allah Almighty, approaching you, His servants, with mercy: the words that will bring you out of darkness into light, if only you knew them. Surely there is a lesson in this for you, if you are believers, he says. A lesson. The lesson of coming out of darkness into light. Yes. In the verse: O people, through the one I sent as a messenger, Jesus, events that human power cannot reach and whose miracles the mind can never fathom; the One who creates them, that is, creating Jesus without a father, raising the dead by Allah's leave, making the blind see, healing the lepers, telling you what is eaten and drunk in houses: through these, that this is not a (?) a human could accomplish, that he did these things by Allah's leave, and that there is no other god but Allah; that for every sound-minded person there are many lessons in these, Allah makes known to us with this verse.

That His essence, His existence is everlasting, that besides Allah, who is without beginning or end, there is no other god: He is able to prove this to us. So then, His saying: if you are believers, there are lessons in this for you; His saying there are lessons:

Allah Almighty, who has power over all things,

who makes His power and strength prevail over all, the absolute Owner of the worlds, the One who has power, Allah Almighty, because He loves people so much, sends them messengers, creates miracles, and with miracles brings people out of the darknesses, out of the swamps, into light, out of darkness into radiance, and that He treats them with His mercy, He shows us through His messengers and gives lessons. Of course, as we always say: to one who understands, a mosquito is music; to one who doesn't, even drum and zurna are not enough.
