Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so, worship Allah. This is the straight path.”
Tafsir
Jesus said to his people: "O my people, (Allah is my Lord and your Lord) do not fail in worshipping Him. Serve Allah so that you may find salvation. O people! There is no God but Allah, the Lord, the Creator, to whom you should turn. Whoever turns his face to Allah, recognizes Him as Lord and serves Him, he has found the right path. He invited his people to obey Allah, saying that whoever rebels against Allah, does not recognize Him as Lord, and does not follow Allah's Shari'ah, is like a person who prefers this world to the Hereafter, who follows the desires of his own soul, who oppresses his own soul, and who suffers loss.
What is said in the video
Surah Al- Imran, verse 51: Allah
is my Lord and your Lord. So serve Him. This is the straight path, he says. It is the straight path. Because Jesus was born without a father, they called him Allah's son. God forbid. And what does Jesus say in the verse? Allah is my Lord and your Lord. Look. One must pay close attention to the words. He does not say: Allah is my Allah and your Allah. What does he say? Allah is my Lord and your Lord. What do we say? Inne Allâhe Rabbî ve Rabbiküm. Yes.
Allah, the Owner of all the worlds: one of His 99 names is Rabb. Rabb in the sense of Creator. In the sense of creating. So when he says He is my Lord too, he is saying Allah created me and created you as well. He created me and He created you. So I am not Allah's son, he says. That is why he uses 'my Lord' here. That is why he uses Rabb here. In some verses Allah Almighty uses Rahman. In some verses He uses Rahim. And here He uses Rabb. That is, Allah created me and created you as well. So serve Him; this is the straight path, he says. That is, I too am a human being.
I am no weightier than you. He says. Jesus, calling out to his people: O my people! Allah is my Lord. And He is your Lord. Do not fall short in worshipping Him. Serve Allah so that you may find salvation. O people, there is no other god besides Allah, who is the Lord, that is, the Creator, for you to turn to. Look how beautiful; what does it say here? Let us open it up a little. There is no other god besides Allah, that is, besides Allah who is the Lord, the Creator, there is no other god for you to turn to. Whoever turns his face to Allah, knows Him as Lord, that is, knows Him as Creator, and serves Him, has found the straight path.
And whoever rebels against Allah, does not recognise Him as Lord, that is, does not recognise Him as Creator of himself... So they will not see their Lord, as it says, their Lord.
Because there is no other god besides Allah; since in their imagination they have pictured a Lord who created them, they wait for him. So, whoever (?) Him as Lord and serves Him has found the straight path. Whoever rebels against Allah, does not recognise Him as Lord, is not governed by Allah's law, they are people who have preferred this world to the Hereafter, who follow the whims of their nafs, who wrong their own selves and come to loss.
In this way, calling out to his people, he invited his people to Allah, to obedience.
