Translation

The Truth is from your Lord, so, don’t join among the doubters.

Tafsir

Allah, the Creator of the worlds, does not intend injustice to His creatures. Therefore, whatever Allah has said, whatever He has revealed to the people in His verse is the truth. Even though He seems to be addressing the Prophet (PBUH) with His verse (Do not be one of the doubters), He is actually addressing the people.

Our Prophet (SAW) came as a mercy to the worlds. Had he been one of those who doubted, Allah (swt) would not have sent him as a prophet. Because no prophet is a doubter. In one of His verses, He says (Prophets do not invite people to themselves). So, O people! Let us not doubt the revelation of Allah, His Signs and His prophets, the resurrection after death and the reckoning in the Hereafter. This is the truth, and it is out of Allah's mercy that Allah has made this known to mankind through His Verses. Whoever receives this mercy, he will be of those who are saved.

We are reading, 59.

Let's see, is it wrong? The truth is from your Lord. So do not be among the doubters. Verse 60. What is the truth is the word of Allah, and is Allah Himself. It is Haqq. What does Haqq mean?

Haqq: the One who has a right over all He created, all He created. Haqq means Allah. Allah means creating the worlds. It means 'speak the truth'; no one is fairer in speech than Allah, and it means the One who gives life to all the worlds by Allah's sacred law. Haqq.

So what is true is the word of Allah. It is the word of Allah, besides whom there is no god. Allah, who created the worlds, does not will injustice to His creatures. So whatever Allah said, whatever with His verses He made known to people, that is the truth. That is, it holds. Everything else is fabrication.

With the verse 'Do not be among the doubters'. Although it seems to address the Prophet (peace be upon him), in fact it is addressed to people. Because the Prophet (peace be upon him) is never among the doubters. According to the verse 'He does not speak idly', the Prophet (peace be upon him) said this hadith. My Lord educated me, and educated me well. According to his hadiths in which he says, 'I swear by Allah, in whose hand is my soul,' he can never be among the doubters. The whole universe, the whole universe, except the prophets. And the people who are the subject of this verse are excepted.

The people of whom it says, 'The angels and the scholars bear witness to Allah's existence,' are excepted. All the worlds apart from these may doubt. These never doubt.

Who does not doubt? The prophets, and also the angels and scholars, who to Allah's existence bear witness, it says — the angels and scholars who bear witness.

Those other than these may doubt, but those I mentioned never doubt. So why does Allah Almighty say it like this? Allah Almighty speaks very courteously to people. 'I am telling you, my daughter; you understand, my daughter-in-law,' it says. There's that proverb, you know — likewise Allah Almighty, to the Prophet, seems to be saying it, but in fact He is saying it to people. With my Lord's leave, this verse does not even apply to me — it does not. That is, the words 'do not be among the doubters' do not apply to me. Why not? There is a verse. What does it say? The scholars and angels bear witness to Allah's existence.

If we are witnesses, we cannot be among the doubters. Allah's verses do not contradict one another.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) came as a mercy to the worlds. Had he been among those who doubt, Allah Almighty would not have sent him as a prophet.

Isn't that so? Yes. Because no prophet is a doubter.

In one of His verses: The prophets do not invite people to themselves, He declares. How beautifully He puts it. If he were among the doubters, would Allah Almighty ever say this? What does it say? No prophet invites people to himself. So, O people, of Allah's oneness, of His verses and His prophets, of resurrection after death and of our final reckoning, let us have no doubt. This is the truth, and Allah's making this known to people through His verses is from Allah's mercy. Whoever attains this mercy reaches salvation and is among the saved. Yes.
