Translation

Do not believe in anyone besides those who follow your religion. Say; “The straight path is only the path of Allah.” Also, (do not believe) that others were given (things that are) similar to what you were given; or that they will bring arguments against you in the presence of your Lord. Say “grace and goodness are in the hand of Allah. Allah gives them to those who desire.” Verily, Allah is Wasi (generous in Allah’s grace) and Aleem (All-Knowing).

Tafsir

Allah (swt) addresses those who believe, O you who believe! Do not believe in the words of those who profess religions other than the religion of Islam. And the right path is only the path of Allah, the religion of Islam which He has sent. Do not go beyond that, and do not allow your ego and the devil, as well as the enemies of Allah, those who turn away from Allah, to deceive you.

Those of the People of the Book spoke among themselves: Do not believe that anyone else has been given the like of what you have been given, i.e. the Qur'an, which is the like of the Torah or the Gospel, i.e. the book which is the like of our book, i.e. the Qur'an, has not been given to non-Jews and non-Christians as the like of our book. The proofs that the Muslims will bring to you in the presence of Allah are fabricated proofs, so do not believe in the proofs that these people tell you. By revealing their hatred against Islam, they showed that they were taking a front against this religion. The reason for this was that they judged the changes they made in the book according to their own minds, making the schemes and sins they committed lawful according to their own understanding, and they knew that what they did with the Holy Qur'an was a sin, and that they could not give up what they did, and they knew that they could not make changes in the Holy Qur'an. Because Allah says in one of His verses (We sent down the Qur'an and we are its guardians until the Day of Resurrection. Not a single letter of it can be tampered with or altered). The Jews and Christians then turned away from the Holy Qur'an, thinking that they would be saved by clinging to what they had written with their own hands.

Say, O Messenger of Allah, "Grace and bounty are in the hand of Allah. That is, Allah, the Creator and Owner of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, has the authority to decide between those who submit to His command, those who consent to His Shari'ah and those who do not. The judgment and decision belong to Allah. Allah (swt) said: Whoever follows the Book, the Prophets and My Shari'ah that I have sent, My favor and bounty is wide for him. Whoever wishes will be the recipient of My grace and mercy. Because My mercy is wide. In other words, people may commit sins and evil deeds, and if they repent and regret what they have done, they will be at the mercy of Allah (swt). I forgive them and turn their sins into rewards.

(Allah is All-knowing.) He is the All-knowing, All-sovereign and All-powerful One, Who is not free from His creatures, Who keeps them under His sovereignty, Who knows the state of His creatures and fulfills their needs, Who knows exactly what they need and what they are capable of doing.

What is said in the video

Verse 3: Do not believe anyone except those who follow your religion. What a beautiful thing it says. Allah is this Allah.

This also confirms that verse. Verses confirm one another, you know. They are lying unbelievers, it says. Their hearts are restless and scattered, it says, and it says it beautifully; it said lying unbelievers. Why lying unbelievers? Is there no one among them who tells the truth? By Allah, there is no one among them who tells the truth. I swear in the name of Allah. Because Allah too says: lying unbelievers. Why lying unbelievers? Because (?) they denied Allah, they are lying unbelievers. These are liars at the root, at the root. That is why they gave their covenants as deniers. What does Allah Almighty say? Hatemallâhu alâ kulûbihim ve alâ sem'ihim, ve alâ ebsârihim gışâveh, ve lehüm azâbün azîm. We, on their eyes a veil, because of their denial. They had a veil drawn over their eyes, had their ears blocked, had their hearts sealed.

For them there is a painful punishment, it says. Yes. And likewise, in the religion of Islam, because Islam is pure, clean, faithful and believing, Allah Almighty warns Islam. What does He say? Do not believe anyone except those who follow your religion. How beautifully He says it.

I have seen many people.

Who partnered with non-Muslims up to a certain (?).

They saw that they were very honest. Hey, he splits hairs more than our own people. It seems so to you. Then, after reaching a certain level, he gathered everything up and, may Allah protect us, left. Shall I say his name too: Nakip Çelemli; shall I say his name too: in our office building, the Armenian Erdoğan did coal business with, and many more; after coming up to a certain level they strike them and take everything away; their honesty aims at a certain level; after that they recognize neither Allah nor His book, nor His prophet; all their being is matter; that is why do not believe these, it says. It is in their (?): take their lives, don't take his property, take their lives.

O My Messenger, say: the right path is only Allah's path, the Sirat-i Mustaqim path; not the Sirat Bridge, mind you. Sirat-i Mustaqim: a perfectly straight path. If you leave it, they made that into a bridge, you go to Hell. But you do not fall off that bridge. After giving account, you go to Hell. So there was a Sirat Bridge, this man was eliminating the creed of the religion of Islam, sir, no. We see that poor people are still chasing after sophistry. Chasing after sophistry. Even though we have proved it with so many verses, so what did we say just now in the previous verse:

by being literate themselves, by bringing themselves to a certain place, do these think they know Allah's book? So these are still trying to spread falsehood over the truth.

Falsehood.

What is the perfectly straight path? Allah's path. The Sirat-i Mustaqim path. This is not the Sirat Bridge. But if you leave it, where would you go? What an evil place of return, it says: you go to Hell. But Allah does not say to you: there is this bridge, and as you cross the bridge I will make you fall. (?)? Where did the supreme court go then? Where is the judgeship of Eleysallahu bi ahkemi'l-hâkimîn? You made him fall into that pit of Hell without his being called to account. Then how did you bring him into His presence?

What about Allah Almighty's verse: today none of you will be wronged. Listen well: today none of you will be wronged; completely (?) will be given to you, it says. No one will be wronged. In that supreme court: well, if you made him fall into the pit of Hell, if you made him fall from that Sirat Bridge, when you came into His presence, was he not wronged?

He suffered a punishment without being called to account; was he not wronged? Although they themselves know it too, they cannot overcome their egoistic feelings and bring themselves to accept it. They are still stubborn, still, still. Still, to clear themselves, they blacken people.

I ask that person who blackens.

I ask the scholars in Turkey too. I ask the scholars in the world too. The Holy Qurans in their hands are all copies of one another; there are three hundred and fifty wrong verses, interpreted, interpreted, wrong verses interpreted; the verses are not wrong, the verses have been wrongly interpreted; three hundred and fifty verses have been wrongly interpreted, this is what I have seen; they fitted Allah into their heads, they gave Him attributes; you were a scholar, you were in a certain place, you made a name at the head of certain groups. You have a crown, you have a throne, you have a sheepskin seat, you have a cloak.

Why could you not find these? Why did you judge together with these superstitions?

Yes. Still trying to blacken the one who speaks the truth: people. As I said just now, there are such people among us too. Not necessarily, I mean, with non-Muslims.

These people, if they were in the quality of human beings, in the form of people worthy of the religion of Islam, I am making a call to them. We have stripped down for Allah. We want to earn Allah's mercy. If I am wrong, set me on the path with verses. If you are wrong, come to the path with verses. I say it for your own good. I say it for your own good.

Like that, from behind, from behind, from afar, from afar, to write articles, does not befit a person's dignity, nor does it befit a person who lives the religion of Islam. These only increase their own kufr.

If you are a wrestler, come out into the open. If you are a wrestler. Look, wrestlers wrestle. They come out saying, I am a wrestler.

I am not speaking (?). I am explaining the verses here. The verses. You, on the other hand, with three hundred and fifty superstitions have judged. First correct yourself, and then set about criticizing other people. Yes. What does it say now? Do not believe anyone except those who follow your religion. O My Messenger, say: the right path is only Allah's path. The Sirat-i Mustaqim path. The perfectly straight path. Again, they said thus among themselves: Do not believe that the like of what was given to you, its like, was given to any other person, or that they will bring proofs against you in the presence of your Lord.

Say: grace and favour are in Allah's hand. He gives it to the one who wishes. Not to whom He wishes, mind you; He gives it to the one who wishes. To the one who wishes. The superstitions know it that way. To whom Allah wishes, they say. Well, Allah gave this to Ahmet Efendi. Now I ask: why did the one He wished not give it to me? Why did He not give it to me? If He had given it to me, I too would have served Him well. Because He gave it to him, he serves; let him do it. But when we say 'the one who wishes', gather your wits. Not 'whom He wishes'; when we say 'the one who wishes', it is

not as you interpreted this part either. Look, the superstitious ones who interpreted the Quran: from the loins of the children of Adam He did not bring out their offspring. There are no loins there either. Superstitions. With those who will appear from the offspring of the children of Adam, of the son of Adam, with those who will appear from the offspring of that son of Adam: where? At Elest-i Rabbiküm. Where? Earlier, He held them as witnesses against themselves and definitively said: your Lord. Allah Almighty created the spirits, and when He suddenly gave life to those three parts, what does He say?

All pairs coming from one another, three classes. O you of the right, good tidings to you. O you of the left, woe to you, He says. A third group is the group of the foremost, He says. Our Lord addresses that group with a definitive command. Here is a hadith for you. Allah created (?) in darkness. Something of His light overflowed onto them. Whoever took from that light found his way. Whoever could not take from that light lost his way, went astray. You know nothing of yourself, yet you set out from these verses and interpret them, sir, and tell them to people, and then you smear a black stain on the people who explain these verses. Yes.

We,

again, as we address the public, let us address them; let us open our tafsir. Allah Almighty, addressing those who believe: O you who believe, do not believe the (?) of those who hold religions other than Islam, and the right path is only Allah's path, the religion of Islam He sent; do not go outside it; do not allow your nafs and Satan, and at the same time the enemies of Allah, those who turn away from Allah, to deceive you. What a beautiful thing it says. Yes. Yes.

Those from the People of the Book, speaking among themselves: that the like of what was given to you, that is, the Holy Quran, which is like the Torah or the Gospel, was given to any other person; that is, that to people who are not Jews or Christians the book like our books, that is, the Holy Quran, was not given; or do not believe the proofs the Muslims will bring to you in the presence of Allah: their saying this, by revealing their (?), shows that they have taken a stand against this religion and against Islam. The reason for this too: judging by the changes they made in the books according to their own reason, the schemes they ran, and what does it say here now: the schemes they ran and the sins they committed, making them lawful according to their own understanding, they know that with the Holy Quran what they did is a sin, that they cannot give up what they do, and that they cannot make changes in the Holy Quran either.

What is it? They changed their books with their own hands. These showed the sins they committed as permissible, showed them as rewardable deeds. In this case the Holy Quran, with their own hands, those writings they arranged and said 'this is what Allah said', it refuted. The Holy Quran declared them false. In this case, at the side that pleased their egoistic feelings and worldly interests, a blow it struck. In this case they said: don't you dare believe their book. It did not suit them. Yes. Because Allah, in a verse: We sent down the Quran, and until the Day of Judgment We are its guardian; not even in its letters can distortion upon distortion be made, He declares.

Jews and Christians, thereupon, holding fast to what they wrote with their own hands, thinking they would be saved, turned away from the Holy Quran. Why? To what is in their own hands, sir, they try to hold fast. What is the reason? Let me tell you the reason.

According to their own reason they will say: O my Allah, this book is Yours, isn't it? Allah Almighty will say, yes, it is Mine. If I did what You said, did I commit a sin? he will say to Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty will remind him. When I sent you this book, did I send it like this? Come here, how much money did you give that rabbi to have this changed like this; He will show him. You knew Me in this book, didn't you, He will say. You knew. You also knew that I am the only God. I knew, he will say. Because there he will not be able to deny. Well, I sent you this Quran; did you know that it too is the truth, He will say.

I knew; he will not be able to deny. So you knowingly denied Me here, out of your hostility, He will say.

Yes. That is why they have no way out.

Even if they hold fast to their own books, even if they hold fast to their own prophets, they will not find life. Because their prophets and books commanded them to follow the prophets coming next. O My Beloved, say: grace and favour are in Allah's hand. That is, the authority to decide between those who submit to the command of Allah, the Creator and owner of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and are content with His Sharia, and those who are not, belongs to the Essence of Allah alone. Judgment and decision belong to Allah. Allah Almighty: whoever follows the books I sent, the prophets and My Sharia, My grace and favour to him is vast.

The one who wishes attains this grace and favour of Mine. The one who wishes. Look, He does not say 'whom I wish'. The one who wishes. If it were 'whom He wishes', Allah Almighty would discriminate among His servants, discriminate. Yes. Because My mercy is vast, declares Allah Almighty. That is, people may commit sins, may have done evil. If they feel remorse for what they did and repent, they attain Allah Almighty's, My, mercy, they attain it. I forgive them and turn their sins into good deeds, He declares. Allah knows everything as it truly is. He who is not (?) of what He created, who holds them under His rule and has power over everything; since the created were created by His Essence, He who knows the state and condition of what He created and meets their needs, who knows what they need and what they can do, is the one who truly knows.

Who truly knows what they can do, we say. Allah.
