Ali 'Imran 85: Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, shall know that it will not be accepted, and that person will be among the losers in the Hereafter.

Yes, we come to our verse: Surah Al Imran, 85th verse. Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, let him know that such a religion will never be accepted from him. And in the hereafter he, he in the hereafter will be among those who squander, it used to say. Will be among those who squander.

Now what does the verse say? Let's read it once more.

Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, let him know that such a religion will never be accepted from him, and in the hereafter they are those who squander.

Allah Almighty's verses always confirm one another. They never go against each other, (?) never belie one another. Today We have perfected your religion, He says. The Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel: We addressed them as the People of the Book. We told you about the People of the Book. Why? It says People of the Book. Anyone can write a book. But because human reason is in those books, he is not truly qualified. He writes (?). When it says People of the Book, the most qualified, the truest of those books, since it comes only from Allah (?), of those authors, of those who write books, the most qualified is the book sent by Allah, He says.

People of the Book. From this we understand the following. When it says People of the Book, Allah's commands sent by Allah to the peoples, that is what we understand. We understand His Sharia rulings. We understand the paths He showed them. Yes. These paths, these Sharia rulings, these books, the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel, (?) in the Quran. He brought mercy to the worlds through our master Muhammad (peace be upon him). And He sent the Holy Quran as a light, a proof for the worlds. He sent it as a guide to right guidance. And He gathered all religions in the Quran. Now, O people! The religions I sent you are also within the Holy Quran.

whoever denies the Quran, since his book is also in the Quran, he is a disbeliever because he also denies his own book, He says. He has denied his own book too, because that book is in the Holy Quran. And since Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran: whoever deliberately (?) denies is a disbeliever, then if those people go and say: I, my book is in the Holy Quran.

I abide by the verses in the Holy Quran, by the verses sent to me in this part, I don't abide by these, then again he has denied Allah Almighty's verse in his own book. For He commanded them to follow the prophets who would come after. In this respect, people (?) with their minds, Allah Almighty sent them prophets and books. After that He sent another prophet. At a time when minds had matured, through the religion of Islam, whose rule He would keep in force until the Last Day, He made His Sharia rulings known to people. Who? Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, let him seek a god other than Allah.

Because that religion will never be accepted from him, He says. So since there is no religion other than Islam, since that religion will not be accepted from him, since there is no god other than Allah, since the owner of the religion of Islam is Allah, since there is no god as they imagine within their ideologies, let them, He says, seek a god other than Allah. There is none. So you have no choice: turn to the religion of Islam. That is why Allah Almighty says they will not see their Lord. What is this? There is no lord they (?) in their imagination, He says, for them to see. There is no god besides Me for them to see, He says.

Now Allah Almighty, with the religion of Islam, has lit the way before people. For all their troubles over time, right up to the Last Day, in whatever technology, in whatever age it may be, He has laid out the knowledge before people so as to shed light for them. So: I have completed the religion of Islam. From whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, that religion will never be accepted, He says. Yes. They will be among the losers in the hereafter, He says. Allah Almighty, people... Whoever, to a religion other than Islam, the religion he seeks will never benefit him, He decrees. O people! O People of the Book!

Even though in the books sent to you the features of the Prophet of the end times, Ahmad (peace be upon him), are described, even though the books sent to you were gathered and united in the Quran, by denying the Quran you deny your own books too, (?).

Even though the books sent were gathered in the Quran, your not believing in the Quran: are you aware that you are opposing Allah? So whoever does not believe in Allah, the Quran and the Prophet, and searches for other and other religions, and within his own nafs a religion he made up himself follows, that on the Day of Resurrection he will be driven to punishment (?). When it is seen, with a religion he made up outside Islam, worship to You (?), that made-up religion will never benefit him.

Yes.

In the world of the hereafter, the religion they made up as a religion (?) this verse (?). There they are without anyone and alone, He says. When He says without anyone and alone, Allah Almighty will lift His mercy from them. These, He says, will be people of Hell forever, He says. Not some loss, not a temporary loss. Yes. They become people who have wronged their own souls. So we call out to these people. O people! Use well the mind Allah gave you. This world is temporary. A thousand years of this world are like one day of the hereafter. A life of sixty, seventy years is like an hour, an hour and a half.

Allah Almighty, who creates time within time, to prove yourself to you, into this world sent you. Use your mind. Do not give up the abode of eternal bliss for this temporary world. If you give it up for this temporary world, for something like an hour or an hour and a half, if you covet the rosy oleander flower blooming in the swamp of this swamp world, then like that oleander flower you too will sink into the swamp and be gone, and you will turn the abode of eternal bliss into eternal punishment.

That's why, do not seek a god other than Allah, do not associate partners with Allah. Abide, as far as you are able, by the religion of Islam that Allah sent. Leave the rest to Allah. If, as far as you are able, you do not leave the religion of Islam and you submit to your Lord, your Lord who created you will not leave you alone. Know this well. Yes.
