Tafsir
Allah (swt) created human beings deficient in intellect. Humans are created incomplete in intellect so that they may know their weakness and ask Allah (swt) for forgiveness and forgiveness. When people turn back to Allah for the sins they have committed due to their mistakes, they will receive Allah's forgiveness and forgiveness, and there is no servant of Allah that He will not forgive. As long as a person asks for Allah's forgiveness and promises Allah not to commit those mistakes again. When people who have been swimming in mistakes, who have spent their lives in mistakes, who have turned away from Allah, return to Allah with a sense of remorse, Allah forgives their past sins, because Allah is Gaffar, the Forgiver of sins, and Allah is Settar, the Coverer of sins. Although Allah is the Forgiver of sins, and He has always declared that He will forgive His creatures if they return to Him at any time, no one can return to Allah except those who will have the mercy of Allah in their nature. They cannot benefit from that mercy.
What is said in the video
It left off at verse 89 of the Surah. Except those who repent after this and mend their ways. For Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful, it says.
A person may live in the world as one of the people of kufr.
He is within kufr.
With this course they have taken the road to Hell.
That is, on that road of which Allah Almighty says what an evil way it is to go, that road to Hell, they carry on.
But if he is granted (?), that is, if he asks himself: Who am I? Is there no one who created me? and returns to his Lord, then such people advancing in the pit of Hell, those heading toward Hell, through our Lord's attribute of Tawwab and that person's repenting, change their way. From those thorny paths of oppression he can come out onto paths of rose gardens. So: except those who repent after this and mend their ways. For Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful, it says. Allah Almighty created people deficient in mind.
When some letters are missing, we correct them. Yes.
People being created deficient in mind is so that they know their helplessness and ask Allah Almighty for pardon, for forgiveness.
Why did Allah Almighty create people deficient in mind? One, had He created them complete, they would have grasped the secret of creation. They too would have been creators. He would have created a being equal to Himself. Yet Allah willed.
As Süleyman Çelebi says: I made My essence a mirror to My essence, He says. By giving the light of the Prophet (peace be upon him) (?) from His spirit, from that spirit of His, (?), He created man resembling His essence. In this case, for that person to be able to know the purpose of his creation, he will be deficient in mind. He will make mistakes. When he makes a mistake, he will understand that he has sinned against his Lord. And in that helplessness he will say: My Lord, forgive me, and he will grasp Allah Almighty's secret of creation. The secret of creation is just this.
Look what He says in one verse: if you were seized at once for the mistakes you made, you would not find a single living being on the earth. So our deficient creation is with a purpose. as a result of that covenant we apparently gave, that wish of ours became our destiny, and we came to this world to prove in this world what kind of people we are; within our characters we will err, we will even reach kufr, but not knowingly, of course; we will do evil too, but when guidance comes and we are enlightened: Alas! We are truly stuck in a swamp. My Lord, forgive us. I lived a period of ignorance. I was dead, unaware of You, my Allah.
You granted me to know Your essence and granted me awakening. When you say forgive me, He says: even if your sins had reached the stars in the sky, even if they had reached those clouds, when you repent to Allah (?) asking pardon and forgiveness, Allah Almighty changes those sins of yours into good deeds, says the Prophet. Yes. That is our Lord's pardon and forgiveness. So that we turn back from such evil paths, because our Lord loves His servants so much, He opens those doors of mercy to us.
When people, for the sins they committed through their mistakes, turn back to Allah and return, Allah's pardon and forgiveness are abundant. There is no servant He would not forgive. What was it? This is Allah Almighty's pardon and forgiveness. There is no servant He would not forgive. Why? Allah is Tawwab. Being Tawwab, Allah did not create people in order to wrong them. Why did He create them? He created them to know His essence. And he, on that path of wrongdoing, (?) that he was betraying Allah. (?) that he had wronged his own soul. What did he see? Right away he took refuge in his Lord from there.
Is there any other door than Him? No. Is there anywhere else to go? No. What will we do? Then we will turn to Him. But how do you know He forgave? How do you know? Here's how we know. Know that He has forgiven. Because what does it say? Who is more true to his word than Allah? So if Allah Almighty says, I am the One who accepts repentance abundantly, then, since His words will not contradict each other, know that if you have turned back with a (?) heart, your Lord has surely forgiven you. Yes.
As long as people who swim in such mistakes, who spend their lives in error, who from Allah (?) turn to Allah Almighty with feelings of remorse. Allah Almighty, these... where did we leave off? We said Allah Almighty is Gafur and Rahim. He is Gafur and Rahim. He, He since He surely forgives sins abundantly, our Lord, and since there is no god besides Him, and since we are His servants, and since our Lord created us fallible, let him only know his helplessness and ask Me for pardon, since He created us with this purpose, we too, when we understand our mistake and turn to Him, will surely find our Lord forgiving us abundantly.
We had left off here. We said: do not disclose your sins.
Whoever discloses his sin makes the people around him witnesses against himself.
Yes.
In that case, let's say I did a (?), my Lord liked it, and He forgave my past sins. I repented, He forgave my sins. Our Lord is Gafur and Rahim, after all; He covered up the sins. And you went and made Ahmet and Mehmet witnesses to the sin you committed. I did this like this and did that like that, and with that sin of yours you started to (?) or to boast about it. Right then Allah Almighty: O My servant, I had forgiven you. I had covered that sin of yours. Now you have made these men around you witnesses to it. Does that befit you? He says something like that. To (?) yourself, uh, to punishment, and, after being honest with Me and with your asking for pardon and forgiveness, to disclose this sin now: does that befit you?
He says. That is why, do not disclose your sins. Allah Almighty may perhaps have covered your sins in return for the good you did, for your rewards. In this case, realize that Allah Almighty's pardon and forgiveness are abundant. Yes.
So, since Allah forgives sins abundantly, the people He created, at every moment, by turning to His essence: although He constantly declares that He will forgive them, apart from those who in their own nature are to attain Allah's mercy, others cannot turn to Allah. They cannot benefit from that mercy.
Yes.
Now, so in the world of the hereafter, the covenant that man gave to Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty's (?) it, man's knowing nothing of his destiny, not being aware of the future: what a beautiful thing. Because Allah Almighty sends people into the (?) world; here they all, from zero, equally, start. Our Lord makes His essence known. According to those natures. And people, according to their characters, choose their own paths themselves. With their own will, with the abilities given, that is, with decisions, with judgments, they bear witness to what kind of person they are, before themselves, those around, and Allah Almighty.
Here in the verse such mistakes are also removed, (?) them anyway. Allah does not put whom He wills into Paradise and whom He wills into Hell. So as long as people live, Allah in no way removes their will and uses His own will. In fact in one verse He says: We do not interfere with you. With you. Why? I have my own will, my wishes and desires, my aim. That aim became my destiny. If He interfered with me, since He created all servants too, He would interfere with them too. He would abolish Hell. Allah Almighty did not create people so that they suffer wrath, so that they suffer punishment. So with partial will, with the decisions people make, people will earn reward and sin. Yes.
