Translation

(Think about) the Day in which some faces will brighten, and some faces will darken. To those whose faces will darken, (it will be said); “You became infidels, after you had believed? Then taste punishment because you have denied.”

Tafsir

On the Day of Reckoning in the Hereafter, the faces of many sinners will be blackened, (they will have no face to appear before Allah because of their sins) Allah will say to these people, O sinners! O rebellious ones! The pleasures of this world's life have been pleasing to you, even though you were aware of my existence. You abandoned me in the world and indulged in your pleasures. Today I am abandoning you. In the worldly life I had informed you that My promise was true, and today you have seen that My promise is true. After you believed, you enjoyed the pleasures of this world's life and followed your enemy Satan and your ego, and forgot your Lord who created you and provided you with sustenance and gave you life, and you became disbelievers. Taste this torment today.

O people! The last regret will be useless before the punishment of the Day comes, when no one will benefit anyone and there will be no return to the life of this world. Seize the life of your life in this world and return to your Lord so that your world and your Hereafter may prosper. If you join the group of those whose faces are darkened, you will have neither a helper nor an intercessor on that Day. There will be no savior for the one whom Allah has forsaken except Allah. Therefore, if you want to attain Allah's mercy in the Hereafter, Allah is enough for you.

What is said in the video

The day when many faces turn white and many faces turn black; look how beautiful. The verses come one after another anyway. I do not come here prepared.

I come, (?) I sit down, and I explain whatever Allah gives. Look, the verses came one after another. Think of the day when many faces turn white and many faces turn black. Now those whose faces turn black, who are they? Those who rebel against Allah Almighty. To those whose faces turn black: Did you disbelieve after your belief? Then taste the punishment for having denied, it will be said.

Hodja, you might say, a question comes to my mind here. What is that question? Perhaps you cannot think of it, but let me ask that question.

What does it say? Think of the day when many faces turn black. Now, to those whose faces turn black: did you disbelieve after your belief? Hodja, the unbelievers never believe at all. They come like that and go like that. He is an unbeliever anyway. It says because of your belief. Now, did you disbelieve? Isn't there a contradiction here, Hodja? Indeed. The unbelievers pass on without believing.

Do you know what their belief is? In that world of lahut, at that address Alastu bi Rabbikum, when He said I am your Lord, they said yes, it says. So they believed. What? A Lord created me. A god created me. They know this. Is there a verse for this? There is. What does it say now? My Beloved, do not mind their denying you. Well, in their time they betrayed Me too, He says. They denied Me too. They are waiting for the Lord in their imagination. They too know that they were created by a Lord. So, and despite knowing that they were created by a Lord, despite Our helping them with prophets and scholars and books and showing them all the paths of truth, those deniers, you see, the one who knows that he too was created by a Lord, followed their own nafs.

They followed the tracks of the false gods. And so they became unbelievers. How beautifully He says it, doesn't He? Yes. Let us look at this. How have we written it here? Since this is for the general public, let us see whether we have opened it up here. I don't expect so. We probably have not opened it up like this.

Anyway, if I had written all of it (?) like this, this book would never end. It would be camel loads, camel loads.

I have been explaining for years.

We have come to Surah Al Imran, verse 106. If I had written down what I explained in a book, it would truly fill camel loads.

In the hereafter, on that day of reckoning, when the faces of many sinners turn black, because of their sins these people have no face left to come before Allah Almighty; Allah Almighty says: O sinners, O rebels, although you were aware of My existence, the amusement of worldly life pleased you.

They were aware of My existence, of course. There is. Why? As I explained a moment ago, they know. (?) a god created. We write that part briefly like this.

Although you were aware of My existence, the amusement of worldly life pleased you. In the world you abandoned Me and fell into your pleasures.

Today I abandon you too.

For what? (?) I say these words, I told you, every sentence corresponds roughly to the verses; I do not open it up much. Allah Almighty, by His attribute Rahman, gives mercy to everyone in the universe, and by His attribute Rahim, in the hereafter only to the believer.

Who are they there? As rebels. To people who were carried away by ideologies outside the religion of Islam, unbelievers and idolaters, and others, people in mindsets that go outside Islam, Allah Almighty speaks like this in His verse. There they are alone and without anyone. So, today I abandon you too, He says. He cuts off His mercy from them. No one intercedes for someone from whom Allah Almighty has cut off His mercy. And even if it is his father, they are not of him. That is why they are separated.

O rebels! Although you were aware of My existence, the amusement of worldly life pleased you. In the world you abandoned Me and fell into your pleasures. Today I abandon you too. In worldly life I told you that My promise is true. I told you that My promise is true. What is the truth of His promise? Every soul will taste death.

Finally the Hour will come.

Then people will be raised again. I will raise My creatures, animals included. Then you will be judged in My presence. I told you My promise. And look what I said after it, He says, within that promise of Mine. Who keeps his word as faithfully as Allah? I told you these too. Today did you see the faithfulness of My word, that My promise is true? He will say to them. Yes.

In worldly life I told you that My promise is true. Today you have seen that My promise is true. After your belief, the amusement of worldly life pleased you, and following Satan, your enemy, and your nafs, your nafs, you forgot your Lord who created you and, providing for you, gave you life; you became unbelievers. Today taste this punishment, it will be said.

What are we saying? Today, and today you have seen that My promise is true. After your belief, the amusement of worldly life pleased you, and following Satan, your enemy, and your nafs, you forgot your Lord who created you and provided for you, providing for you, gave you life.

Here we say after your belief. After your belief. So we explain that part to you. Where? At that address Alastu bi Rabbikum, that you were created by a Lord, you know. In the world, too, you know that there is a Lord who created you. So you believe in this. It is impossible not to believe. The unbeliever believes too. I was created. If he did not believe, he would not worship idols. Because he created me. He brings the spirit in his imagination and puts it inside it. He shapes Allah according to his imagination. By worshipping the idol he already proves that he was created. He proves that he was created.

And he knows that he was created by a Lord. So, did you disbelieve after your belief?

Well, do those idols have feet that walk, hands that hold, eyes that see, ears that hear, tongues that speak? You know too that they have none of these. Like Abraham breaking the idols. Like him putting the axe on the neck of the big idol and saying maybe this one broke them. And they say: how could this break them, it cannot walk, it cannot hold. It cannot hold, cannot walk, cannot knock anything down; so why do you worship it? So it means they put the spirit of the Lord in their imagination there. They shape it and worship it. In fact they worship themselves. Because their nafs makes this seem attractive to them.

They deify the desires of their own nafs and worship themselves. They cannot bow their necks to the ground. So Allah Almighty says about them in Surah Ya-Sin: We put (?) on their necks, He says, (?). They cannot bow their necks to the word of the Truth.

Yes.

O people, before the punishment of that day comes upon you, a time when no one will be of use to anyone, when there will be no return to worldly life again, the final regret will be of no use. All of this corresponds to the verses anyway. You will say: O my Lord, is there not one more way out to the world? Even if We sent you not once but several more times, you would do the same thing again, Allah Almighty will say. The reason is that those places will be closed again; those worlds; again you will live your own nature, you will live your character. Come, before coming to the world, there, despite your doing all your evil, if you sincerely knew Allah to be Allah, Allah would remove hell; despite your burning in hell, O Malik, tell your Lord to lighten this punishment on us a little, they will say.

Waiting for the Lord in their imagination, they think of taking revenge on that Allah who left them subjected to the fire. With these thoughts they remain in eternal hell. So this is what characters are; there is no turning back from them. A person's characters. And what do our ancestors say about this? A proverb: a person, it says, is at seventy what he is at seven.

Yes. Of course, this is a proverb.

What are we saying? O people, before the punishment of that day comes upon you, a time when no one will be of use to anyone, when there will be no return to worldly life again, the final regret will be of no use. Value the life of your lifetime in the world, the living of it, as a gain, turn to your Lord, so that your world and your hereafter may be built up. If you join the group of those whose faces turn black, on that day you have neither a helper nor a helper, nor an intercessor. Yes. For someone whom Allah has abandoned, there is no saviour other than Allah. So if you want to attain Allah's mercy in the hereafter, you say Allah is enough for a person.

If you bind your heart to Allah and want the hereafter, a person's trusting in a person, a person's leaning on a person for his interests, will not save him. What saves? The Owner of the worlds and the absolute Ruler of this dominion and the One of absolute power, Allah; if a person leans on Him, relies on Him, then Allah is enough for a person. Yes.
