These are Allah’s verses that We recite to you truthfully. Allah does not desire oppression towards the worlds.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) confirms the Prophethood of the Prophet (saw) with this verse, O Habibim! We inform you of these events as truth from Us. Surely, those days will come which cannot be avoided. The Day of Resurrection will break one day. All souls will taste death. These worlds will also be re-established again. Creation will be gathered before Allah (swt) again. Everyone will be held to account for what their own two hands have earned. Allah does not intend injustice to the worlds, nor is He unjust to anyone.
These are the Verses that Allah has revealed to you, the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.), with the truth, that is to say, in the truthful way. Allah does not do injustice to anyone, nor does He intend injustice to anyone. What you earn is the recompense of your two hands. A miskal particle of evil and a miskal particle of good will be written down and you will be judged for what you have done in full in the Divine Presence.
What is said in the video
Surah Al Imran, verse 108, the verse. These are the verses of Allah which He recites to you in truth. Which ones? The verses He has told, these, He says. The verses He has told, these. They are the verses of Allah which He recites to you in truth. Allah does not wish to wrong anyone. Absolutely not. What does He say? What you have earned is the due of your two hands. After that, after that, so that today no one is wronged, what you have earned will be given to you in full, He says. No created being can be as just as Allah, no created being can judge with justice as Allah does.
Think of a jeweller's scales, exact. Finer than those scales, purer, more precise still: in the laws Allah has given there is no deficiency.
Won't one side weigh heavier, Hodja? It will. Well, isn't that injustice? Look, let me explain that too now. If you performed worship that pleases Allah, and if you also reformed your nafs, to the side you have earned Allah Almighty, from His mercy, says in a verse, three for one, five for one, seven for one, a hundred for one in reward He will give. So from that mercy of His to those good sides you have earned He will make a transfer from Himself. You know how you put money in banks and they give interest on your money. Allah Almighty already, look, He says: is there no one who will lend to Allah without interest?
How beautifully He says it. Is there no one who will lend to Allah without interest?
Well, He will increase it from Himself. That loan is your worship. Drawing near to Allah. And in the hereafter He will keep filling the reward side of those scales for you so that it weighs heavier. This is a gift from Me to you. You did this like that; this too is a gift from Me to you. Because you did this like that, because you saved that one like this, because you did this for him, because you remembered Me and did this, He will (?), and like that man facing you giving an income, He will fill your scales on the reward side.
So these are the verses of Allah which He recites to you in truth. Allah does not wish to wrong anyone. Absolutely not. With this verse Allah Almighty, confirming the prophethood of the Prophet, says: O My Beloved, We make these events known to you from Us in truth. In truth. What does it say? These are the verses of Allah which He recites to you in truth. That is, O My Beloved, you are the Prophet sent personally by Me, who came as a mercy to the worlds. Because it is recited from Him in truth. Yes. O My Beloved, We make these events known to you from Us in truth. Surely those days that cannot be avoided will come.
What are those days? The Hour will come, people will be raised again, and in the hereafter, on the Day of Judgment, the Supreme Court will be set up. Alaysallahu bi ahkamil hakimin. As Judge of judges, Allah will call us all to account there. The Hour will come one day. Every soul will taste death. In these worlds it will be set up anew. The created will be gathered again in the presence of Allah Almighty. Each will be called to account for what their own two hands have earned. Allah does not will injustice to the worlds and wrongs no one. Yes. So Allah these to you, that is, to the Beloved of the Almighty, the Seal of the Prophets, Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him), in truth, that is, from Him, rightly: these are the verses He made known.
His saying to you in truth: rightly. That is, upon justice. So that no one is wronged, in a way that no person is wronged, in a way that lights their way, holds a light before them, serves as proof; these are the verses I have told you, He says.
Just as Allah wrongs no one, He wills injustice to no one. This is impossible. But see how people (?) Allah. What does it say? Surah Al-A'raf, verse 179, Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
Open it. Surah Al-A'raf, verse 179. Indeed, We created many of mankind and jinn for hell, it says. Good heavens. Allah, look, created His creatures for injustice to His creatures, specifically for hell. Just look at that. Whereas the verse is not like that. Indeed, hell was created for many of mankind and jinn. Hell. This world is the likeness and shadow of the hereafter. Were prisons built for all people? They were built for those who commit crimes. Mankind and jinn being created for hell is one thing, prisons being built for mankind and jinn is another.
Yes, those who commit crimes will go there.
So what are we saying?
Just as Allah wrongs no one, He wills injustice to no one. What you have earned is the due of your hands. An atom's weight of evil and an atom's weight of good are recorded. And for what you have done you will be judged in the Divine Presence completely, completely, He says. Yes. You will be judged completely.
In this case, a person, if a person uses his reason just a little, a little bit.
This couplet of Hazrat Yunus Emre is very meaningful.
One who does not know where he came from and where he goes is an animal, he says. So if a person uses his reason just a little, he will ask: who am I? Why did I come and what will become of me? Who is my beginning? Every person asks himself. My father, my father's father, my father's father, his father, his father, (?). Who created him? Allah Almighty brings the answer in His verse. We created Adam from earth. Then We breathed Our spirit into him. We created Eve so that his soul might find rest. We created his mate for him, He says. And then, so that the spirits We created in eternity past in the world of lahut, in the world, would know Allah, for instance to prove that they are human, We, of the scenario, sent down to the world Adam and Eve, who are a part of it.
So man, to eat, drink and indulge in pleasures like animals, did not come to the world. People were created very noble. In this case this person should know why he was created, where he came from and where he will go. If this person does not know where he came from, and is hopeless, doubtful about where he will go, or else says there is only the worldly life one lives, no rising again, and here he eats, drinks, dies, and makes no preparation for the hereafter, then these belong, as Hazrat Yunus Emre said, to those who do not know where they came from and where they go, to the animals. They belong to the four-legged creatures that roam the earth.
So know your Owner.
If you worked at a workplace and that employer your duty told you, and you turned your back on that duty, they would throw you out at once. Well, Allah Almighty does not throw man out at once; throughout his life He feeds him, gives him drink, and finally says: your return is to Me, then I will call you to account, He says. Well then, thinking of this, though you know this, what is wrong with you that you become a captive of your nafs, follow the tracks of Satan, your enemy, and turn your back on Allah's commands?
What is your gain? A bankrupt merchant. That is your gain. A bankrupt merchant. If you break your nafs in the name of your Lord, you attain mercy.
