“Verily, I am a trustworthy Messenger for you.”

Tafsir

Hud (peace be upon him) addressed his people and said: O my people! Believe that I am a trustworthy messenger sent to you by Allah. In other words, Allah is complete and perfect. He is exempt from all deficient attributes. If you follow the path He has shown, you will find salvation. Otherwise, you will not be able to find the Truth with your intellect, and you will be wronging your own souls because you are a people who have gone beyond the limits in filth and sensual affairs. Believe in me, verily I am a trustworthy messenger sent to you by our Lord, the Creator of the worlds.

What is said in the video

Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 125. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. İnnî leküm resûlün emîn. Know that I am, sent to you, a trustworthy messenger. A trusted messenger. Emin, emin is also emin in Turkish. Resul: Allah's messenger. Well, know that I am a trustworthy messenger sent to you. Hud (peace be upon him), addressing his people: O my people, believe me, I am, sent to you by Allah, a trustworthy messenger. That is, Allah is perfect and complete. He is free from all deficient attributes. If you follow the path He shows, you will prosper. Otherwise, just as you could not find the truth with your own reason, since you are a people who transgress in filth and carnal matters, you will have wronged your own selves.

Believe me, truly I am, from our Lord who created the worlds, a trustworthy messenger sent to you, he said. The prophets always made themselves known to their peoples. Didn't Jesus too make it known in the cradle? Yes. Didn't the Prophet too make it known after the age of 40? That he was Allah's messenger. All the prophets, those who were Allah's messengers, well, these, when they came to their peoples, addressed them: I am a messenger sent to you by my Lord — so they spoke. Yes.

Those who are heirs of the prophets followed the same path. The Qutbs. What did they say? I am the Qutb al-Azam, he said. Isn't that so? Qutb al-Azam. Well, the other one is Qutb al-Azam. There is a Qutb al-Azam, who comes every 100 years, and what else is there? There is the Qutb al-Aqtab, sir. The Qutb al-Aqtab. And what does he do? He comes once every two years. What does he say? And I am the Qutb al-Aqtab. What does this mean? I am a person who has come to remove these superstitions from the religion, or to correct verses wrongly interpreted in the Quran, he says.

That's what he says, isn't it? And what does the (?) say? The meaning of the verses is not as you interpreted them; it is like this, he says. These verses are like this according to the time, he says. (?) So Allah Almighty, by raising such people, will keep His religion firm until the Day of Judgment. Did they think they would put out Allah's light by blowing with their mouths, it says. Allah will sustain His light until the Day of Judgment, and complete it. Yes.
