“Now fear Allah and obey me.”

O my people! Repent to Allah for what you have done, for you are a sinful people. In the Hereafter and on the Day of Reckoning, when you will be accountable to Allah and fear Allah and obey me.

What is said in the video

Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 131.

"So fear Allah and obey me," it says. That is, I am a trustworthy messenger sent to you. "On behalf of Allah, the Lord of the worlds, I invite you to be servants of Allah," he says. Be mindful of Allah. Yes, good. "So fear Allah and obey me." Look, it doesn't say "worship me" — "obey me." Obeying him is obeying Allah. Because Allah gives the command to His messenger, and he applies that command to His servants to the letter. If His servants carry out that command, they have obeyed Allah. Not the messenger. And the messenger is the one Allah loves and has sent as a leader to his people — their elder and father.

But his people respect their prophet as their elder and respect him as Allah's messenger. In this situation, what does the prophet of the people of 'Ad say? "O my people! Since you are a sinful people because of what you do, repent to Allah. Fear the day in the Hereafter, that day of reckoning, when you will give account to Allah, and fear Allah, and obey me," he declared. How beautiful. Now if a prophet came to us, a prophet — (?) (?) if a prophet came to us now, and that prophet gave us advice like this, I say for myself personally, you see, I would obey at once — do you know like whom? In the noble Surah Yasin, you know, addressing the people, a man, it says, when the people did not listen, from the far end of the city, it says, came running: "Believe the people who ask you for no payment," he says. "Are you one of them too?" — and they stone him to death.

As he falls to the ground, he says exactly this: "I have won," he says. What did he win? When Allah Almighty shows him the lofty Paradise, he says "I have won." He attains Paradise. Yes. If we think about it with sound reason, if someone came out now: "O people, O my people, O nation, do not fall short in obedience and worship to Allah. Do not lie. Do not consume what is forbidden. Do not swindle anyone. Do not commit adultery. Do not drink alcohol. Do not consume interest" — when he says that, how good: our health, our well-being, our bond of brotherhood with one another — someone who strengthens them.

Where did you learn this? "O people, O my people, I am a trustworthy messenger sent to you from Allah," he says. Look how beautiful. "I am a trustworthy messenger." Why don't you obey him? Allah Almighty says: I hold no one to account for a thing He has not made known to you. Yes.
