Translation

They are the ones who believe in Allah and the hereafter, who order the good and forbid the wrong. They race to good deeds. They are the righteous (salih).

Tafsir

They believe in Allah and the Last Day. These are Muslims who have believed. They enjoin good and forbid evil. For the sake of Allah, they try to prevent people from doing what Allah does not want. They tell people about the harms of evil and try to prevent people from evil ways.

These are the righteous, the good people. These are the people who do not deviate from Allah's rules, who believe in Allah, and who know with certainty that they will be held accountable on the Day of Judgment. These are the righteous ones who will receive the mercy of Allah.

What is said in the video

In verse 114 of the Surah: they believe in Allah and the Last Day, it says. Who? These people within the Jewish community. They enjoin good and forbid evil. They forbid it. They hasten to good deeds; these are among the righteous, it says.

In Mecca al-Mukarramah, the polytheists wrote a writing against the Prophet and threw it on the wall of the Kaaba.

They write that there is no prophet of Islam, that there is no such god. In this situation, in this situation, that no daughters are to be given or taken in marriage with them, that in no way is trade to be done with them, and that all their lives are to be left to themselves, so that they completely shun them, an order was written and hung on the wall of Mecca. After a certain time had passed, two Muslims among these, among the polytheists, come to an agreement. They say: there is a meeting. At this meeting, you be in one corner, and I will be in another corner, apart from you.

Let us get that writing taken down, he says.

Then the day of the meeting comes.

They talk big, of course. Their names are known too, but I don't remember them right now, those persons' names.

He says: in the writing you wrote there are deficiencies.

A writing like this won't do. That writing must be corrected, he says.

Right away, from the other side, since they had agreed, the other Muslim, the believer, says yes, he says. So-and-so is right. There are deficiencies there. It must be corrected, he says. Both of them being respected people, they immediately take the writing, and in that writing the words "there is no Allah" have been erased. The other writings remain. In this situation, he says, you had written such and such in this writing. Look, these have been erased. If he were not a prophet, would these writings be erased like this? It is his miracle, they say. And so they win them over and have that writing taken down from there.

So among these, among these Jews, there are people who have become Muslim like this, who enjoin good and forbid evil. These, Allah Almighty says, are the righteous.

Their words also have an effect. Yes.

What do we say? They believe in Allah and the Last Day, they enjoin good, and forbid evil.

They do good, they hasten to good deeds; these are among the righteous, it says. They believe in Allah and the Last Day. These are Muslims who have believed. They enjoin good and forbid evil. For Allah's sake they try to keep people from what Allah does not want. By telling people the harms of evil deeds, they try to keep people from evil ways, they try. Who? These are some of the people among the Jews. Sir, only those among the Jews? No. If Muslims do the same thing, these are already Muslims; since they too are Muslim, they do the same things. Those who do the same things are also righteous. Who are these righteous ones? After the nafs mutmainna, one rises to the nafs radiya.

People who have reached the state of ilm al-yaqin.

These are the righteous, they are people. Such people are those who do not step outside Allah's sharia rulings, who believe in Allah, (?) people who know with certainty that they will be called to account at the Resurrection. These are righteous people who (?) Allah's mercy. Yes.

We say here: those who believe in Allah with certainty. Those who believe in Allah with certainty. What does this mean? Those who believe with certainty. And what is the nafs mutmainna anyway? What does mutmainna mean? His heart has now come to rest, assured. That is, he has believed. He has seen. What? The manifestations. Allah. This we call a mu'min. And since there is no turning back for people who are mu'min, Allah Almighty tells the Prophet (peace be upon him): pray for the mu'min. For the mu'min. Why for the mu'min and not for the Muslim? If he had prayed for the Muslim, then according to the verse "he does not speak idly", for the sake of Muhammad (peace be upon him), who came as a mercy to the worlds, our master, no one of Islam would enter hell.

No Muslim, none of the sinful ones, would enter hell. So, by saying: pray for the mu'min. There is no turning back for the mu'min anyway. For this reason, these are the people to whom Allah Almighty says: O soul that has come to rest, your Lord pleased with you, you pleased with your Lord, enter among My servants, enter My Paradise. The believers. Yes. The righteous. What does Allah Almighty say for the righteous? For them there are Gardens of Adn beneath which rivers flow, that is, rivers flowing beneath their ground, it says. Yes.
