And they are the ones who remember Allah and ask for forgiveness of their sins when they commit a wrongful action or commit oppression against themselves. And who could forgive sins none other than Allah? And they do not persist in committing these actions knowingly.
Tafsir
We have said that Allah (swt) created human beings incomplete in intellect. The reason for this incomplete creation is that He limited the human intellect by creating man close to His Essence so that He would not create a being equal to Him. In this respect, all created human beings are intellectually incomplete and faulty. Even the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Servant of two worlds, who was sent as a mercy to the worlds (vema erselnake illâ rahmatan lil âlamin), he too is incomplete and faulty towards Allah (swt). In this respect, one of the purposes of the erroneous creation of human beings is for them to know their Lord as Lord, to see their own shortcomings in fulfilling the commands of their Lord, to realize that they have failed to obey the commands and prohibitions of Allah (swt), and to turn to their Lord and repent and ask for forgiveness.
When these pious people commit a sin or are wronged, they immediately turn to Allah (swt) and ask Him for forgiveness. After all, who can forgive sins except Allah? This means that there is no god other than Allah who can forgive sins. There are people here who say that they are religious men with their false and fabricated religions, who make decisions and confess sins in Allah's place. By deceiving people, they prepare the destruction of people and themselves in the sight of Allah. These are the people who enter into shirk by making decisions in the place of Allah by taking sins from people. This Ayat (verse) indicates that people who behave in such a manner are in shirk, and that no power other than Allah can forgive sins, but that forgiveness of sins belongs to Allah, the Almighty.
Also, these pious people, because of their incomplete creation, do not continue to deliberately commit mistakes or evil deeds, like people who have not perfected their souls. They are in constant repentance. Because they fear Allah in the Hereafter, in the presence of Allah, remembering the Day of Reckoning, and they repent and ask forgiveness from Allah for what they have done.
Allah (swt) intends people to be morally beautiful, and in order for them to preserve their human dignity and honor, He makes His Verses very clear to them, saying that whoever behaves in this way, obeys the purpose of My creation, and does what I say, I have prepared great rewards for them.
What is said in the video
Again, they, it says, that is, the God-fearing, people, when they commit an evil or wrong themselves, remember Allah and immediately repent and ask forgiveness for their sins. Let's go further, for those God-fearing ones, not beyond the verse, God forbid, let's go further than the God-fearing: at every moment they remember Allah. That's what it says in a verse. I have servants whom neither buying and selling nor trade keeps from the remembrance of their Lord, it says. Except for absent-mindedness. Since Allah Almighty created people of the forgetful kind, absent-mindedness is excepted. These people, in the words that come out of their mouths, watch how far they insult the people before them in the light of the verses, how far they tell him the truth, and how far that person is distressed by it, millimetre by millimetre. See, if they've upset him, then again in line with the verses they try to win his heart back.
Indeed the person you've described in depth would never knowingly, to the person before him, do injustice. Knowingly, never.
So what does he do? He always gives warning. Because he remembers Allah at every moment, he never steps outside those verses.
Within the ego's feelings, for the mistakes he made, from Allah Almighty they (?) pardon and forgiveness. Well, how does that work this time? A person's ego feelings, ego feelings within his own habits. Not against others. Within his own habits, because of the shortcomings they see in themselves, a person struggles with his own shortcoming until he dies. No person can raise his nafs, without interruption, from zero to the summit and live that way. Only by reforming his nafs does he bring it, over his whole life, to a state like (?). And that is the end of his life. He has proven himself in that state and passes on to the hereafter.
So in this case, from his habits, against himself, against his own nafs; look what it says here: or when they wrong themselves, when they wrong their own selves, they remember Allah and immediately repent and ask forgiveness for their sins. Again they, it says in the verse, when they do an evil or wrong themselves, that is, when they wrong themselves with their own ego feelings, they remember Allah and immediately repent and ask forgiveness for their sins; anyway, sins who can forgive but Allah? No one. Why? Because apart from Allah there is no thing at all. So since all created beings are Allah's servants, and moreover, since every soul shall taste death and your return is to Me, as He says, since we have no owner but Him, who else could forgive our sins?
There's no other door to take refuge in, that we could go there and take refuge, so that it protects us against Allah, against the One who created us. This is impossible. Yes. And in the evils they commit, they do not knowingly persist, it says. That is, they did evil, they know it, but they don't persist. That is, "they don't persist" means they have no such habits, it says. For instance like alcohol, like gambling, or, I don't know, like hashish, heroin, God forbid, or like eating what is forbidden, or like interest, or like cheating people, that is, they have no trait outside the religious rulings.
Even if they do it, it means, they are like that, they don't have these habits. Yes, they do not knowingly persist, it says. They give them up, immediately. Only with those ego feelings and pride he does it for a moment, but afterwards he repents and asks forgiveness, it says.
We said Allah Almighty created people deficient in intellect. The reason for this deficient creation: creating man close to His essence, so as not to create a being equal to His own being, He restricted human intellect.
Indeed, from a person's own lineage come people, a group. Now Allah Almighty, too, creates from His own essence a group: humans.
He gives it the name (?), "insan" comes from (?), (?). He creates it of the forgetful kind. That is, "the forgetful kind" means restricting his intellect. When He restricts his intellect, what happens? He can develop his knowledge within a certain time up to a certain point. Beyond that, nothing. Why? He created him close to His essence anyway. Like Himself. Like Himself. But man is deficient.
In this case. He creates him deficient in intellect too. In intellect too. When He creates him deficient in intellect, the person will know his (?). He will know his Lord as Creator and to his Lord's commands he will bow. And the reason this is so: through Allah Almighty's power of knowledge, the human He holds as addressee of His essence will be like His essence, so that He can take him as addressee. We always say: a person, in his capacity as human, the person who (?) himself, but pay attention here, the person who (?) himself, in his capacity as human, a cat, a dog, an animal, does he take it as his addressee, does he?
And even if perhaps it had been given a speech to make its mind his addressee, even then, even if that animal had spoken with him, let's give an example: Solomon talked with wolves and birds. With wolves and birds. Were they ever taken as his addressees? He still took humans as his addressees. So Allah Almighty too created such a being and took man as the addressee of His essence. In this case, so that man would not be like His essence, He made his intellect deficient, so that his Lord he (?) need of, (?), and to his Lord because of his creation as the noblest of creatures he may give thanks. Yes.
May I ask something here? Go ahead, ask. According to this word you're explaining, according to the word I'm explaining, Allah Almighty, if He wished, could have created an Allah of exactly the same level as Himself. If He had wished, you say, He could have created an Allah one-to-one like Himself. Is that what you mean? Yes. If He gave man (?) from His own essence, and had programmed his intellect as He wished, had given him that intellect, he too would be a creator. Then La ilahe illallah would be removed.
He would do it; if He wished, He would. He gives him that intellect. (?) Of course. He gives him that intellect. Such a thing (?). (?) Huh? There are inventors. Because those inventors develop, they don't have children. Their line is cut off there. The inventors'. In this case, since the child to come after would be even more intelligent, so that it is not added to a creator's state, the line is cut there. The best example: of the Prophet's children all pass on to the hereafter. In his capacity as a prophet, they pass on to the hereafter. Again, to the Prophet, in his capacity as a prophet, He gives offspring.
To the others He doesn't give offspring. Their children's line is cut off. Those inventors have no descendants. So of course, if He wished, Allah Almighty, from that intellect, could give that person an intellect able to create. But then, not an addressee to Himself but a being that is His equal and at the same time His opponent He would have created. An opponent. In this case, an opponent of yours: if this building were yours, if you had created a being able to build a building, had programmed it, and it opposed these buildings of yours, let me say, or were able to do it, or were in a position to use any violence against you, would you want that?
You wouldn't. So too with Allah Almighty: all these creatures, from the atom to the sphere, whatever there is, are our Lord's, but Allah Almighty kept everything hidden in His essence, in His essence.
That is my word; the meaning of this verse: the keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand, it says. Therefore if the keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand, there is no creator but Me, He says. And all the knowledge and secret of these creations is with Me, He says. So I created these worlds from the atom to the sphere. And there is no god but Me. La ilahe illallah, He says. How beautiful. Yes. If there were a god besides Allah, one would have his own creations, and the other would (?), and everything would drown in corruption, it says.
Today there are states on earth, states wage war against states, they grow stronger with weapons here and there.
Had Allah Almighty created such a being, it too would create beings to strengthen itself, and against Allah's creations it would wage war.
To establish its superiority. And of course they would try to dominate like that. Isn't it like that in the world too?
Yes, I think that's understood.
Therefore all created humans are deficient in intellect and fallible; even the master of both worlds, sent as a mercy to the worlds, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad, ve mâ erselnâke illâ rahmeten li'l-âlemîn, although he is that, he too is deficient before Allah Almighty and fallible. He too is a human being. He is Allah's servant and Messenger. In his capacity as a human, because he came as a mercy to the worlds, because all people are from his spirit, because all these worlds are from his light, still he does not have the power to create. That belongs to Allah alone. Creating belongs to Allah.
Yes.
In a hadith, the Prophet means exactly these points in a broad sense. What does he say? Value me too as is due, he says. That is, never hold me equal to Allah. God forbid. (?) Yes.
Therefore, in the fallible creation of humans the purpose is that a person knows his Lord as Lord, seeing their own shortcomings in carrying out their Lord's orders, realizing they cannot fully observe Allah Almighty's commands and prohibitions, and turning back to their Lord they repent and ask forgiveness. Yes.
It is so that they repent and ask forgiveness. These God-fearing, when they commit a sin, or when they are wronged, at once in these situations turn back to Allah Almighty and ask Allah for pardon and forgiveness. Anyway, who can forgive sins but Allah? Because He is our owner. But apart from Allah there is no (?) who could say: come, my child, or, O my servant, or, O servant He created, come, against Him I will protect you. That's impossible. If someone says such a thing, he is a zindiq of the first order. Yes. He is a zindiq of the first order. Who? Like the Pharaohs, like the Nimrods, like devils, or like the taghuts.
Yes, what does it say? Some taghut says. Go on, do this. I (?) your sin, he says. Do it, he says. This is no sin. Do it, he says. I'll bear your sin. Yes. Zindiqs of the first order. Yes. A person who cannot settle his own sin, the penalty for his sin, how could he your sin (?)?
Here, sunk in falsehood, with their made-up religions, saying "I am a man of religion", people who decide in Allah's place and absolve sins also exist. (?), priests in churches, the sins of women or men they absolve, they have them leave money there. They exploit people's consciences. Some even sell Paradise. They even give out the key to Paradise. And some issue (?) to Paradise. We hear all of this. May Allah reform them.
May Allah reform them.
By deceiving people, they prepare, in Allah's sight, both the people's and their own destruction. These are people who, by absolving people's sins, decide in Allah's place and fall into shirk. This verse declares that people who behave like this are in shirk, that no power other than Allah can forgive sins, but that this forgiveness of sins belongs to Allah, the absolute power.
And these God-fearing ones do not, like people who, because of their deficient creation, could not perfect their nafs, knowingly continue in their mistakes or evils. As I said earlier, they have no habits. Because they have eliminated their habits. Indeed, if they had kept up their habits, had they been unable to free themselves from them, they could not be people of taqwa, and among those righteous servants they could not enter.
They are in constant repentance. Because, remembering this day of reckoning in the hereafter before Allah Almighty, they fear Allah, and for what they have done they repent to Allah and ask forgiveness.
Allah Almighty, wishing that people be beautiful in character, and so that they can protect their human honour and dignity, to them made His verses known very clearly: whoever behaves this way, observes My purpose of creation, does what I say, for them I have prepared great rewards, He says. He spoke of that great reward: palaces, mansions in Paradise, beneath them (?), from their grounds streams flow, places where rivers flow, (?), what does it say? As wide as the heavens and the earth, hasten to such Paradises, it says. Yes.
