Translation

Or, did you think that you will enter paradise without Allah revealing those who struggle (for the path of Allah) and those who are patient?

Tafsir

Did you think that you will enter paradise before Allah (swt) reveals the covenant that everyone has made by living in the world and reveals those who are patient and those who are not patient?

People can make themselves look good with their tongues, they can deceive people by telling them that they have good qualities and traits that they do not have. However, Allah creates the words they say and their morals in events and keeps them as witnesses. In the Hereafter, no matter how a person has made a covenant with Allah, he will not be able to deceive Allah, but he will be able to witness himself to the world around him, to himself and to Allah through the events Allah has created. That's who I am.

People are divided into those who believe in Allah, His Messenger and the Last Day and those who do not, and those who are evil-doers and those who are pious, and Allah (swt) gives them narrow and broad times, and gives them some blessings and calamities. Each soul bears witness to Allah, its surroundings and itself in this life. Allah creates such events for people so that they can prove what kind of a person they are by their behavior towards events without any evasions. In this way, people live out in this world the covenant they made in the world to come (kalu bela'ah) through their actions. In that case, people will not be able to say to Allah, 'If you had done this to me, I would have done that.

Because it leaves people alone in their own lives, within their own will, putting all their desires and wishes in their own hands. It makes people witnesses against themselves and those around them. Allah says (We do not hold anyone responsible for what We do not announce). Allah (swt) has made the truth known to people through His Verses. When Allah (swt) made a covenant with mankind with His prior knowledge (kalu bela), He wrote their desires and wishes as their destiny. People's actions within their destiny became their own rewards and sins. Since Allah (swt) made a covenant with human beings in His address Elestu bi Rabbikum, He knows what the entire existence and all the people He created will do, which will continue until the Day of Judgment. Thus, Allah, by manifesting His attribute of Godhead, does not write good deeds or sins to any of them without making them witness themselves with their lives in the realm of property. Death will not catch them until they prove what kind of people they are.

What is said in the video

Of Surah Al-Imran, verse 142, we had stopped at.

Or did you think, before Allah makes known those among you who strive, before He brings out those who are patient, that you would enter Paradise? it says. Yes.

Our commentary, let us both read it and explain it. It is among Allah Almighty's attributes of being Allah that, before everyone makes known the covenant he gave by living it in the world, before He brings out those who are patient and those who are not, did you think that you would enter His Paradise? it says. Did you think you would die? Did you think that when you die you would enter Paradise? it says.

What did we say? At the start we spoke of Allah's attribute of being Allah. Allah Almighty's attribute of being Allah: all these beings He created in the universe, or people, without making a single question or query to Allah Almighty, without being able to, with everything they did will be cut off from question and query. With what they did. Because whatever they would ask, Allah Almighty will have made it appear, and that person, when he commits it with his actual deeds, will have proven what kind of person he is. In this case he will be cut off from questions. This is Allah's attribute of being Allah.

People show themselves very high with their tongues.

For example, let me give an example here. Those who speak with a fine tongue, let's say like me.

We show ourselves in a very high place.

We do all kinds of trickery, we say it, I mean.

But if his state, that is, that person's state, does not match his actual deeds, if it is outside the verses, what he says is worth nothing. So the Prophet also says: even if you see a person flying in the sky, do not believe him, because Satan flies too, he says. Well, look at his actual deeds, he says, his actual deeds. His actual deeds, his own life, the words coming out of his mouth, and that saying attributed to Mevlana, in fact is attributed to all the friends of Allah. They live that way. Either they appear as they are, or they are as they appear.

It is not only Mevlana's saying. All the friends of Allah, His saintly servants, either are as they appear, or appear as they are.

Yes. It is Allah Almighty's attribute of being Allah that these people, unable to say a single word to Allah Almighty, unable to say: my Lord, had you given me this chance, I would have done so, without being able to say it, every person fully living out the wish in his heart, with his actual deeds, the destiny he had written for himself, having proven himself, then attain that Paradise or the place of punishment he will go to. People can show themselves good with their tongues.

Telling others about good states and qualities they do not have as if they had them, they can deceive people with these airs. Though these states are not in them, they heard these words from Ahmet or Mehmet, and as if they had them, they dress themselves up and say, I am in this state. You know sheikhs; in Arabic, sheikh means old. Old. But in one sense he is a (?) guide who has come to know the divine manifestations, that is, a person who rebuilds people with the knowledge of Allah. They are as rare on earth as red sulphur. Now some who lead certain communities have declared themselves sheikhs.

Knowing nothing of being a sheikh. Poor people. Let them not take offence. Look, I say let them not take offence. Why? If a person shows himself worthy of a place he is not worthy of, that person becomes a sinner. Why do you set out to act as a sheikh? Yes, let them not take offence; if I am telling the truth, (?) (?), let them know the truth.

Presenting themselves as worthy of positions they are not worthy of, they plant superstitions in people's minds. And because our people are full of love for Allah, they believe their hodja at their head just as he is, take the superstition as truth, and after that cannot give it up. The burden of this is two on the hodja, one on that person. Sin. Sin. A person will use his mind. His mind. Yes.

We said that sheikhs are like red sulphur on earth. Like red sulphur. They tell people the truth. They are the educators of human selves. They educate human selves. In this way they make the person both a perfected self and, in showing them the path of truth, they make people friends of Allah. They make people love Allah and His Messenger. That is why people's tongues are skilful, they deceive.

But the heart is a person's mirror.

However, Allah, the words these will say and their morals, their morals, by creating events, He makes them bear witness about themselves. Whom? People. He makes them bear witness about themselves.

Every person has his own wishes and desires. According to these wishes and desires, Allah Almighty creates causes. People who act on those causes with their actual deeds bear witness to what kind of person they are, to themselves, to those around them and before Allah Almighty.

However a person gave his covenant to Allah in the other world, without being able to deceive Allah, since he cannot, it is impossible, with the events Allah creates he bears witness about himself to those around him, to himself and to Allah, and is made to say: this is what I am. That is, however refined the tongue may be, now if I said to you, I am at the level of fiqh, I am at the level of hadith, I know the essence of the knowledge of the Quran, I do this, I do that.

Well, if you believe me, they believe. But if I cannot answer even one of these, what do they say? Wow, he really made it all up, they say. He was a liar, they say. They do say it, don't they? They do. So people don't even care about this lying; they have torn away the veils of their faces. They have presented themselves as worthy where they are not worthy. And people unaware of themselves have set out to govern people.

The seeing have set out to lead the unseeing. The unseeing, the unseeing, the blind have set out to lead the seeing. It is truly a sad affair. Yes.

Yes.

People, by believing or not believing in Allah, His Messenger and the Last Day, the wretched and the God-fearing, to these Allah Almighty gives hard times and some misfortunes. Those we call wretched are the rebels; by God-fearing we mean the faithful, those who are friends of Allah, that is, honoured with the religion of Islam, righteous people, the God-fearing.

To the wretched and the God-fearing, by believing or not believing in Allah, His Messenger and the Last Day, these Allah Almighty gives hard times and some misfortunes. So Allah, by creating such events for people, in such a way that people have no loopholes left,

with the actual deeds they will commit, by making people live in the world the covenants they gave at (?), at Qalu Bala, people will not be able to say to Allah Almighty: had you done this to me, I would have done that; They will not be able to say it. These are Allah Almighty's attributes of being Allah. Whatever everyone's wish is, He has given characters accordingly. According to those characters, those people, as time comes, want those wishes with their desires and longings. And Allah Almighty creates causes for them to act on with their actual deeds. And these prove themselves very well. So the misfortunes that befall them, did they think they would simply enter Paradise without what befell other people, with that verse.

This verse is the same anyway. The verses always support one another.

Because, placing all their wishes and desires within people's own will into their own hands, He leaves people alone with their own lives. Allah Almighty.

Partial will is in man, without pressuring any person, without using force, in that address of Elestü bi-Rabbiküm. When He said, I am your Lord, each of our souls, within its own will, the decisions it made became its destiny. So characters were given to those destinies. Within those characters, when people have wishes and desires, causes are created before them. With those causes a person proves himself.

He makes people bear witness about themselves to themselves and those around them. He makes people bear witness with the actual deeds they do. Allah Almighty says: We hold no one responsible for what We have not made heard. Yes. People hear it.

He does not hold anyone responsible for what He has not made heard. This too is Allah Almighty's attribute of being Allah. Here He makes even our voice heard by the world. And right now thirty-nine people are watching us. In our last lesson fifty-three, fifty-four people were watching.

Actually I believe thousands of people know. Thousands of people. But because the truth is heavy for the self, their (?) against their selves, they move away from here. They cannot listen to the truth. It does not suit them. But if superstition were told, superstition would suit them. Especially if we told lies and falsehoods. A man listens knowing full well it is superstition. Why? It suits him. Because it is told wrongly. He says, oh, I know this, he says. But here every person realises that what he knows is wrong. And in this case he sees his mistakes in what he has done. And the self never wants to do its duty towards Allah Almighty.

So what does it do this time? It pressures the person. In this case only the people who master their selves, whose will is strong, who long for their Lord, such rare people listen. Yes.

We... Allah Almighty says: We hold no one responsible for what We have not made heard. Allah Almighty has made the truth heard to people with His verses. Allah Almighty, with His pre-eternal knowledge, at Qalu Bala, when He made a covenant with people, wrote their wishes and desires for them as their destiny. The deeds people do within their own destinies have become their rewards and sins. Allah Almighty, at the address of Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, when He made a covenant with people, knows what all existing things and all the people He created will do as they continue until the Day of Judgement, what they will do. Thus Allah, making His attribute of being Allah appear, without making people bear witness about themselves through their lives in the world of dominion, writes neither reward nor sin for any of them.

They must commit their actual deeds in the world, they will prove what kind of people they are. Yes, and for this reason He does not write reward and sin for them out of nowhere. Without them proving what kind of people they are, death does not catch them either. They must prove what kind of people they are.
