Tafsir

Those who believe in Allah and rely on Him, those who put their trust in Allah alone, constantly repent and ask for forgiveness for their sins. They seek Allah's help against the unbelievers and those who fight against them. They ask Allah to forgive them for their transgressions in their deeds, for their human inclination in taking something, for loving the desires of their nafs too much, for having another love besides the love of Allah, for the love of property, children and well-being that their nafs' transgressions have made them taste. (Make our feet firm in your path) O Allah! Give me strength and power against those who would discourage my heart and turn me away from Your path. Place in my heart such a love of Yours that my feet will remain fixed on Your path. May it not step back from Your path. O Allah! You do not put on our backs a burden that we cannot bear. And we will never leave Your side and compromise on Your path. You know the secrets of hearts. So, add us to the group of servants you are pleased with.

Make us victorious over the community of disbelievers. O Allah, You know that we are the ones who put our lives on Your path. Our life is to keep the religion of Islam alive. They say, "We have dedicated our existence to your path, give us victory over the group of disbelievers and include us among your servants who serve Islam, so that we can deliver the religion of Islam to the generations that will come after us.

What is said in the video

Now those prophets and those prophets', the men with the prophets who, in Allah's way, helped the prophets, they, it says, say this. What do they say? Their words consist only of saying this: Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and the excess in our affairs. Make our feet firm on Your path. Grant us victory over the community of unbelievers, it says. Yes.

How beautiful! Allah Almighty's answers through verses to people on Allah's path.

Those who believe in Allah and rely on Him, those who trust only in Allah, constantly repenting and seeking forgiveness, ask for their sins to be pardoned. Who are they? The righteous servants, those men. Men, not only in battle but also during their lives, they repent.

People are at every moment ready to commit sin. At any moment you turn your eyes somewhere, you look at something forbidden, you look at someone else,

you have committed a sin. So what will you do? You will constantly be in repentance. I constantly say the repentance of Jonah (peace be upon him). What do I say? Lâ ilâhe illâ ente sübhâneke innî küntü mine'z-zâlimîn. What am I saying? My Allah, I have wronged my self, forgive me. Yes. Jonah too prayed that way. While in the belly of the fish, he was troubled for forty days and understood: 'I made a mistake.' When he said this, lâ ilâhe illâ ente sübhâneke innî küntü mine'z-zâlimîn, Allah Almighty brought him out onto land, and as he lay half unconscious, at his head, a fast-growing plant of the gourd kind He made grow.

He shaded him with its leaves, fed him with its fruit, and brought him back to life, and sent him to lead his people.

What are we saying? Those who believe in Allah and rely on Him, those who trust only in Allah, constantly repenting and seeking forgiveness, ask for their sins to be pardoned. Against those who do not accept Islam and themselves, against those who fight them, they ask Allah for help. For the excesses they commit in their affairs: as humans, when taking something, by leaning towards it, loving the self's desires too much, with, besides the love of Allah, another love existing, with the love of property that the self's excess has made him taste, he asks Allah to forgive him.

For a moment, for the thing your self desires, you feel craving. And to get it, you talk in a way that serves your own interest.

This is the excess within. It has surpassed the love of Allah.

So from these, and from such states too, they take refuge in Allah. When I make a purchase, let's always consider the other person. When talking, even in bargaining, like two human beings, always keeping Allah's verses in view, let us decide.

Yes.

Make our feet firm on Your path. O my Allah! Those who would bring dismay to my heart, who would turn me from Your path: against them give me strength and power. Tell this one.

(?) wash it, my child. You're making a clattering noise. Make our feet firm on Your path. O my Allah, against those who would bring dismay to my heart and turn me from Your path, give me strength and power. Place such a love of You in my heart that my feet on Your path stay firm. That they not step back from Your path. O my Allah, You do not load on our backs what we cannot bear. And we will never leave Your ranks or compromise on Your path. You are the One who knows the secrets of hearts. So join us to the company of Your servants with whom You are pleased. How beautifully we make our prayers in line with the verses.

In this verse, every verse in fact both shows a person a way and shows the person's helplessness before his Lord and, within this helplessness, his Lord's being kind and merciful towards him, and the forgiveness of his sins, and His raising him in degrees. Every verse is like this.

Grant us victory over the community of unbelievers. My Allah, You know that we are those who devote our lives to Your path. Our life is for keeping the religion of Islam alive. We have dedicated our existence to Your path. So that we can hand the religion of Islam, which those coming after us will live, to the generations after us, give us victory over the community of unbelievers and join us to Your servants who serve Islam, they say. Yes. Their prayers are like this. Why like this? Because they say this verse this way. What is that verse? What does it say? So that we can hand the religion of Islam, which those coming after us will live, to the generations after us, give us victory over the community of unbelievers and join us to Your servants who serve Islam, they say.

This sentence corresponds to this verse. Allah will keep His religion alive until the Day of Judgement. And Allah will complete His light until the Day of Judgement. So, this light of His that He will have completed until the Day of Judgement, (?) let us be of service, my Allah, we say. Yes.
