But your loving protector is Allah, and Allah is the best of helpers.

Tafsir

Although Allah (swt) is the owner of the entire universe, He says, addressing Islam (whereas Allah is your Mawlān). Here the following question comes to mind. Did someone else create the non-Muslims or did Allah abandon the non-Muslims? Allah (swt) has proved His Essence and made people know that there is no other God but Him through all His Verses. So Allah is the Lord of all His creation. There is no other God but Him.

As for the question of whether Allah has abandoned non-Muslims, we said when we were explaining the Besmelah that Allah is Merciful and Compassionate. His attribute of mercy is for everyone in the universe. Since He is the absolute owner of His creation, He is the one who gives His creatures their sustenance in a lifetime in order to keep them as witnesses to Himself in the unseen world. This is the attribute of Allah's Mercy. You can find more details in the Besmelah. And the attribute of Rahim is only for the believer in the Hereafter.

Whoever forsakes Allah, associates partners with Him, rebels against Allah and disobeys His commands and prohibitions, he will be alone in the Hereafter. Just as in the worldly realm, man lived in his own existence, far away from Allah and hostile to Him, so in the Hereafter, Allah (swt) will leave them alone, will turn away from them and will not bestow His mercy upon them. He will not use His attribute of Mercy on them. In this state they will be alone and they will be eternally in Hell.

That is why Allah does not mean the realm of property in this verse, but the realm of the Hereafter, which is the abode of eternal bliss. In this respect, Allah is your Mawlana. This means that in the Hereafter, Allah is only the Mawla of the believers. In other words, Allah is the Lord of those who believe, who do not associate partners with Allah, who do not seek help from anyone other than Allah, who give themselves to their Lord, who obey Allah, and who receive the mercy of Allah. Our Lord also treats His servants with His mercy, using His attribute of Mercy. Therefore, Allah alone is your Mawla.

(He is the best of helpers). If people worship what they make with their hands as gods, seek help from them, call what they make with their hands their gods, ignore Allah's blessings upon them, and are ungrateful to Allah by attributing what Allah has given them to inanimate beings they worship as gods who are of no use even to them, then on the Day of Judgment, when they see that they have been left alone by the gods they worshipped, it will be revealed that there is no being other than Allah, the Creator, who can benefit His creatures on a day when they have no helpers. A person who has lost the life of the world, who has awakened in the life of the real world, will be eternally hell-bound because he is waiting for the Lord of his own imagination, and there is no such Lord.

This is what Allah says to mankind: "Do not be the people of such a disappointing day. Turn to Allah while you have the opportunity to live, and seek help from Allah alone, that you may receive His Mercy and be helped by Him. For He is the best of helpers. Whoever helps whomever and how much he helps, he will eventually appear before Allah, the Giver of the sustenance of those who help, and will be called to account before the Judge of Judges on that fateful day.

What is said in the video

Yet, it says, your Mawla is Allah. He is the best of helpers. There is no being, no created thing that helps man as much as Allah.

The Prophet came as a mercy to the worlds. He will intercede for his ummah. My ummah, my ummah, he will insist. My ummah. But the decision is still Allah's. Again, the decision will come from Allah.

Even when he insists 'my ummah', that ummah will enter hell.

Yes, if it has a punishment, of course. Until that light of Islam is perfected, that is, until the nafs is perfected, it will stay there. And until not a single one of my ummah remains in hell, he says, I will (?) from Allah, he says. So again the decision will come from Allah. Yes. So, yet your Mawla is Allah. And He is the best of helpers. Is there a better helper than Him? What do we say? Hasbünallahu ve ni'me'l-vekîl. Ni'me'l-Mevlâ ve ni'me'n-nasîr. Gufrâneke Rabbenâ ve ileyke'l-masîr. Ve lâ havle ve lâ kuvvete illâ billâhi'l-aliyyi'l-azîm. Yes. Although Allah Almighty is the Owner of the whole universe, addressing the Muslims: yet your Mawla is Allah, is Allah, He says.

Here, truly, a question comes up. That someone else created the non-Muslims. So it seems. What does it say?

Yet your Mawla is Allah. The Mawla of people. Is He not the Mawla of the others? Doesn't that come to mind? When it says your Mawla. Did someone else create the non-Muslims? Or did Allah abandon the non-Muslims? Allah Almighty, proving His essence, that there is no god but Him, with all His verses has told people and made Himself known. With all His verses. So Allah is the Lord of all He created; there is no other god besides Him. Here, when it says your Mawla is Allah, He created seventy, seventeen thousand worlds, seventeen thousand worlds. He is the Lord of the seventeen thousand worlds too.

Within these seventeen thousand worlds, in one world, humans. The wolf is a world, the cat a world, the lion a world, the tiger a world, the fish a world, that is, world upon world. The monkey is a world. These are the 17 thousand worlds.

Your Mawla too. Not 'your' but 'your Mawla too' is Allah. That is how it should be, rather. Not 'your' but 'your Mawla too' is Allah. And He is the best of helpers.

As for the question whether Allah abandoned the non-Muslims, when explaining the Basmala we said that Allah is Rahman and Rahim. The attribute Rahman applies to everyone in the universe. As the absolute Owner of His creatures, so that He may take the person as witness to Himself in the unseen world, He is the One who gives His creatures their sustenance within a lifetime. This is Allah Almighty's attribute Rahman. You can find more detail in the Basmala. We said the attribute Rahim is only for the believer, in the hereafter. Whoever abandons Allah, associates partners with Him, rebels against Allah and does not heed His commands and prohibitions, in the hereafter he is alone.

Alone. So, did Allah abandon them? If they are alone, did He throw them into hell and never hear of them again?

Even in hell, Allah Almighty does not forget them. Even in hell, what does the verse say?

After they suffer torment there for many thousands of years, after burning they will no longer feel or taste, it says. After seeing torment there for those many thousands of years, Allah's mercy will still reach them, it will remove their nerve senses; as eternal logs of hell they will remain there.

Whoever abandons Allah, associates partners with Him, rebels against Allah and does not heed His commands and prohibitions, in the hereafter he is alone. Just as a person, while living in this world, lived far from Allah, as His enemy, within his own self, so in the hereafter Allah Almighty will leave them alone, distance Himself from them and not grant them His mercy. Indeed. If you come close to Me, I come close to you. If you abandon Me, I abandon you. You, in this world, eat the blessings your Lord gave, benefit from every kindness of His, be protected by His mercy, under His mercy, let Him give you a whole life that no created being could grant you, and you, ungrateful, turn your back on Him and go away from Him.

To the loftiness of man's creation as man, to his dignity, this is not fitting. That is why, because it does not befit this loftiness and dignity, Allah Almighty says of them: they are like four-legged animals roaming the earth.

Even more astray in their way.

Because that four-legged animal fulfils its duty. This one, (?), with his own mind and will, by being ungrateful for the blessings of his Lord, overstepping the ruling of the sacred law, forcing Allah's limits and crossing to the other side, those who act in ways Allah does not want. So our Lord gives them two or three calamities a year, like this.

Yes.

In the hereafter Allah Almighty will not use His attribute Rahim for them. So in these states they will be alone and will be eternal people of hell. Eternal people of hell.

That is why Allah Almighty, in this verse, does not mean the world of possession (mulk) but the hereafter, the abode of eternal bliss.

In this respect He says: Allah is your Mawla. So He says that in the hereafter the Mawla of the believers alone is Allah. The Mawla of the believers. That is, of those who believe, who do not associate partners with Allah, who expect help from none but Allah, who give themselves to their Lord and obey Allah Almighty, who attain Allah Almighty's mercy: their Lord is Allah. And our Lord, using His attribute Rahim toward His servants, treats them with His mercy. That is why He says your Mawla is Allah alone. That is why, we said, Allah Almighty in this verse does not mean the world of mulk but the eternal abode of bliss, the hereafter.

He is the best of helpers. That is what the verse says. People worship what they made with their own hands as gods, expect help from them, call what they made with their own hands 'my lucky charm', ignore Allah's blessing upon them, and attribute Allah's gifts to what they worship as god, which is of no use even to them, lifeless things; if they are thus ungrateful to Allah, then these, (?) at the Resurrection, when they see they are left alone by what they worshipped, with no helper at all, on a day when, other than Allah the Creator, to His creatures no being can bring any benefit, when they realise this, it will have been too late.

To a person who has lost the life of this world and woken up to the life of the real world, final regret is of no use.

With every kind of simile, in a way every human mind can grasp, Allah Almighty, to people, speaks. Since I said 'speaks' here, something comes to my mind. In the Prophet's time the Abu Jahls said this: Muhammad's god speaks, they say.

Well, of course He will speak. Look how beautifully He speaks. How beautifully He speaks. He speaks so beautifully that it is nothing like the books people have written. In books they tell and tell and tell, but they do not speak. This speaks through verses. Look, the People of the Book, look at the books written by this one and that one, they always narrate something, from the past, stories, from here and there, from worlds of fantasy, but Allah Almighty always speaks to people of the future, of the past, of events; He speaks with people and develops people's minds. Yes.

So Allah, addressing people: do not be the people of such a day of loss.

While you still have the chance of life, turn to Allah, and only from Allah seek help, so that you attain His mercy and from Him receive help. For He is the best of helpers. However much anyone helps anyone, in the end one will stand before Allah, who gives sustenance to the helpers, and on that inescapable day, before the Judge of judges, account will be given. Yes.
