Oh sons of Israel! Remember all the provisions I have blessed you with and that I have exalted you above all creation.
Tafsir
In the face of all the blessings he gave to the Children of Israel, they were made superior over the worlds because they were human beings in their creation as human beings. The Children of Israel misunderstood this verse and established the Freemasonry organization, saying that we are the masters of people and people are obliged to serve us. In this understanding, they both attributed shortcomings to Allah (swt) and committed kufr by interpreting a verse they did not understand as if it was addressed to them.
Allah (swt) does not create people superior to one another, and if He does, He is already characterized. Since no one can oppose what Allah (swt) has created, and no one can corrupt what He has created, wouldn't the other human beings say to Allah (swt), "O Lord, what was our sin, did you create us for torment, and did you not intend cruelty for the worlds? Would this not contradict the Verse (What you have earned is the recompense of your two hands)? Would it not also contradict the verse, "If this were a human fabrication, there would be many words in it that do not agree with each other"? So the meaning here is that when he says, "I have made them superior to the worlds," he means the creation of human beings, that we have created human beings superior to the worlds. Otherwise, he did not create man superior to man. Man was created as equal to all the worlds created. This is what our Lord means when He says, "We have made you superior to the worlds. The superiority of human beings over each other is in proportion to their covenant with Allah (swt). And that is Allah. It is between God and himself.
Then they entered into a greater disbelief. They declared themselves to be the masters of mankind, citing this verse as an example. They ascribed shirk to Allah, saying that we are the sons of Allah. They also said that we will not be tormented by hell for more than a few days in the Hereafter. They were cursed for disobeying our Lord by denying the Verses that did not suit them. (Indeed, you know that in the time of David, when your people were forbidden to fish on Saturday, we said to those of you who violated this commandment, be despised and humiliated apes). Dr. Darwin's statement that humans are descended from monkeys in his research is a scientific proof of this verse, unaware of the verses of the Holy Qur'an. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 46 (Allah has cursed them for their disbelief. So they do not believe, except a few of them). According to these verses, even though Allah (swt) placed all these blessings in front of them and said, "Do not rebel against Allah (swt) and perform the duty of servitude by remembering these blessings," they went into disbelief by interpreting the verses.
A question may arise here. Why does Allah (swt) warn people in this way, even though He knows what they will do in accordance with the covenants made with Allah (swt)? Allah (swt) is free from imperfect attributes. He has written the covenant of man as his destiny. However, when man experiences his destiny, he knows that this is my destiny through the actions he has committed within the unit of time. He does not know the next moment. Allah (swt) says (We do not hold anyone responsible for what We do not announce). In this respect, since people's destinies are closed to them, He reveals His Verses to people in the realm of property through all kinds of parables and analogies. With the mosquito and the bigger mosquito, Allah warns people with the Verses that He says that He does not stop bringing examples, and all the responsibility is placed on the people themselves. Therefore, Allah (swt) does not stop giving warnings to people in a way that they can understand.
What is said in the video
We come to the 47th verse of Surah Al-Baqarah. Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 47: O Children of Israel! Remember all My blessings that I bestowed upon you, and that I made you superior to the worlds. That He made them superior to the worlds. Now, according to this verse, all the commentators wrote: At that time they had authority over all the peoples. And some kill it with their own reasoning: because a prophet had come to them, and with that prophet, sir, they were placed above the other peoples. No such thing.
There is no class difference in the sight of Allah, as in communism.
These are people who cannot recognize Allah and fit Him into their own minds. Well, Hodja, He says: remember that I made you superior to the worlds. Do you know in what respect? In respect of their creation as human beings. Allah Almighty created 17 or 18 thousand worlds. I created you as human beings above the worlds, He says. Above. Otherwise Allah did not create that people superior to this one and the other people superior to that one, by making a difference between humans. All are servants of Allah. Back in pre-eternity, in the realm of Lahut, He made a covenant with the souls that were in three groups.
He made no class difference there. Nor does He make one in the world. So, by "above the worlds" He means the human being, whom He created as the foremost honored of the created beings: I created you as a human, He says, human. For this — the human being — "Laqad khalaqna al-insana fi ahsani taqwim": I created man in the finest form, says Allah Almighty; with the verse in which He says, I created man in the finest form — if, for those who make a class difference, these are above the worlds, that is, above those peoples, then the others became slaves. Or else these became privileged. Well, doesn't Allah Almighty say in a verse: I made mankind the vicegerent on earth.
So what does this vicegerent mean? It means one who looks after things in someone's place. Who is that someone? Allah, who created the worlds, gives us the disposal of the world. To us, to everyone, personally. Every person is a commander. Every person is the vicegerent of the earth and uses property under their disposal. Well, in this verse, when the other people, or those who pass for scholars, say He made those peoples superior over the other peoples, the right of disposal would be taken away from the others, the vicegerency would be removed from the others. Listen well, understand well. Ask about what you cannot understand.
Yes.
What does it say? O Children of Israel, all My blessings that I bestowed upon you — look, all My blessings. What are all these blessings? He saved them from the torment of Pharaoh. He drowned Pharaoh in the sea. In the desert of Tih He fed them with quail meat. To give them shade He raised Mount Sinai over their heads. He raised Sinai over their heads. And still they went against Allah's command. Still they went against Allah's command. And remember that I made you superior to the worlds — that is, that I created you as human beings above all the creatures I created — He says.
Misunderstanding the verse about creating the Children of Israel superior to the worlds, in view of all the blessings He gave them, they said: we are the masters of people, their masters. People are obliged to serve us — look, there's the class difference. Yes. Saying this, they founded the organization of Freemasonry.
The organization of Freemasonry. Well, if Allah Almighty had sent His verse in the way they perceived and understood it, and people too — those fools who call themselves scholars — with what they wrote this way as a class difference, sir, if the meaning of this verse were like that, then this verse of Allah Almighty — where do these people hide it? This verse of Allah Almighty: If they are close to Allah — we say they are the sons of Allah. That is, we are the sons of Allah. We are those close to Allah. The fire will not touch us for more than three days. If they are truthful in their words, let them wish for death, He says.
Where did this verse go?
That means one has to perceive the verse well. These verses cannot be opened with such half-baked Arabic. It's not possible. It's not possible.
You will be close to your Lord. Through unveiling you will see all the worlds and be given a duty. After that you will write this.
Otherwise this cannot be done with Arabic.
Isn't that so, Ender? Can you grasp it?
Many sciences come together here. It is a bit hard to grasp them all together at once. These are things that must be grasped part by part.
With this understanding, they both attributed qualities to Allah Almighty and, by interpreting the verse they did not understand as though it addressed them, they arrived at shirk.
Allah Almighty does not create the people He created one superior to another. This is not possible.
He does not say: I created you like this, you are such; and I created you like that, you are such. He created the souls. He left those souls free in their own will. He wrote the wish and desire of each soul as its own destiny. If our Lord had removed the will of our souls from over them and had used His own will over their souls, Hell would have ceased to exist.
One must know partial will very well. Partial will — the universal will is Allah Almighty. Whatever He wills, He does. Partial will is a bit of it: the wish, desire and intention of man. Man's wish, desire and intention has been given to him as his destiny. Allah Almighty has never interfered with this will. Had He interfered, Allah Almighty would have abolished Hell.
Allah Almighty does not create the people He created one superior to another. If He did, He would indeed be given attributes. How would He be given attributes? One would say: why did You create him for Paradise and me for Hell? That's what one would say. What is my fault? It's Your will. Right. It's in Allah's will.
What does it say anyway? Had We willed, We would have created you as a single community. A single community, yes. Therefore we could not have gone against His will. So He left the will free in man. Since no one can go against what Allah Almighty creates, since no one can undo what He creates, the other people, pleading with Allah Almighty, "O Lord, what was our sin? Did You create us for torment? You would not intend injustice to the worlds" — wouldn't they say that, He says. You know, He says, You would not intend injustice to the worlds — wouldn't they say it, they say. No one can find any deficiency in Allah Almighty.
Yes. In this case, the verse "What you earn is the return of your two hands" — wouldn't it contradict that? Contradict. You know, if this were a human fabrication, many words would be found in it that do not agree with one another, and wouldn't it contradict the word of the verse? Of course it would contradict. It would contradict. In this case, people who cannot grasp it, on the same page while opening up the verses, do not themselves believe what they write, but they learned it that way, they write it that way. Many contradictions that do not agree with one another. Many of you know. One feels shame, shame. A person is ashamed, ashamed.
I always say it. If I had said even one thing wrong among what I tell you — you know, I'm human, I could say it, I mean — and if you saw this mistake of mine and set me straight with a verse, I would be ashamed.
I'd truly be ashamed, I mean. I mean, let's feel abashed. In people there is no shame left, no sense of honor, no abashment left at all. Why? The world has appeared attractive. The station where the whims of the nafs are has appeared appealing to people. In this case, Allah and His Messenger have remained in dreams, because of weakness of faith. So, in the meaning here, His saying "You made superior to the worlds" refers to the creation of people — as I said a moment ago, their creation as humans: We created people superior to the worlds, He decrees. Isn't it — We created people superior to the worlds: that is, the vicegerent of the earth, that is, Ashraf al-Makhluqat, the most honored of created beings.
Yes. Otherwise He did not create one human superior to another. Man was created as Ashraf al-Makhluqat in relation to all the worlds created. Well, Hodja, isn't there the verse: they are like the four-legged animals that roam the earth? Well, if they are like four-legged animals, then aren't these other people superior to them?
By creation they were created equal, but since in their covenants, in their own wishes, they denied Allah, they are like the four-legged animals that roam the earth, He says. Even more astray in their way. With what? With the deeds they have done. With deeds. Well, when he turns about within that unbelief, he is Ashraf al-Makhluqat.
Well, that four-legged one is also Ashraf al-Makhluqat. Because he is in human form. These are in human form. Ashraf al-Makhluqat. Human.
So how does he become four-legged? Through his actions. Through his ways, his beliefs, his beliefs, sir; in this case they become like the four-legged ones roaming the earth. There is no difference between them. That is, in form a human appearance, vicegerent of the earth; whatever right you have, he has that right too. Although he is a vicegerent of the whole earth, he has the right of disposal. That will is in him; the will to give commands is in himself; the ability to judge is in himself. He will judge; through the deeds he does he will make himself a witness to those around and to Allah Almighty. That is why he is still Ashraf al-Makhluqat.
Yes, man was created as Ashraf al-Makhluqat in relation to all the worlds created. Our Lord, meaning this, decrees: We made you superior to the worlds. The superiority of one person over another is in proportion to the covenant given to Allah Almighty, in proportion to the covenant. And Allah knows best about this. It is between him and Allah. What is it then? The superiority of one person over another is in the sight of Allah. That is, is he at the stage of nafs al-ammara? Nafs al-lawwama? Nafs al-mulhima? Nafs al-mutma'inna? Nafs al-radiya? What stage is this person at? Through His closeness — that person, through closeness to Allah — is still not superior among people; he is a precious person in the sight of Allah. We will say he is a person loved in the sight of Allah.
Yes.
And Allah knows best about this. There are some people, some people — only Allah knows this. Even he himself doesn't know.
That is, even he himself doesn't know that he is a lovable person in the sight of Allah. Only Allah knows. There are some — he knows, Allah knows, people don't know. And there are some — people know, he knows, Allah knows. Yes.
Then they fell into an even greater unbelief. Who? The Jews. Pointing to the verse here as an example, he recognizes his Lord; he wants Him to be that way. And by denying the verse that doesn't suit him, he is cursed for going against his Lord. He is cursed for going against Allah Almighty. That is: O Children of Israel, remember all the blessings I bestowed upon you and that I made you superior to the worlds, sir. In the later verses He says: We cursed them for what they did, sir. Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 65: Truly you know that in the time of David, when your people were forbidden to fish on the Sabbath, to those of you who violated this command of Mine, We said: Be despised and abject apes.
What did Allah Almighty say in verse 65? Let's read it once more, look now. Truly We — you know that in the time of David, when your people were forbidden to fish on the Sabbath, to those of you who violated this command of Mine, We said: Be despised and abject apes. Well now, to the people who claim to be scholars: if He made the Children of Israel superior to the worlds, wouldn't Allah Almighty be given attributes here? He brought those He made superior, and because of their mistakes turned them into apes.
Didn't Allah know everything that will happen until the Day of Judgment? Isn't it that — it's not as if (?), it's not as if (?) — until the Day of Judgment we would not know what he would not do? So here, a person whom Allah Almighty will turn into an ape — why would He make him honored above the worlds?
Look with how backward a meaning people have written this in this way, according to their own heads. Their superiority over the worlds is their creation as human beings. Yes. So Darwin's saying that man comes from the ape also supports the verse of Allah Almighty. What does it say? They are like the four-legged ones on earth. And he says the apes are our ancestors. Yes. Allah Almighty says so. These, He says, although very little time has passed since their destruction, how they resembled their ancestors, He says, in belief and in conduct; how they trampled and overstepped the limits set by Allah, sir.
Well, if he trampled and overstepped them, why is Doctor Darwin not destroyed? The Prophet (peace be upon him), who came as a mercy to the worlds, is alive. Because he is alive among us, the destructions were lifted; afflictions are given. Afflictions.
That is why Allah Almighty says: We give them two or three afflictions a year. Look, on television hurricanes, floods, fires, disasters keep going.
They end in one place and start in another. They end in one place and start in another. Yes. So that they do not say: O Allah, You created me in prosperity. You created me in a very fine life. Had You given me an affliction, I would have known You. Yes.
What does it say now? Doctor Darwin, in his research, saying that people come from the ape is, unaware of the verses of the Holy Quran, proving this verse scientifically. Scientifically. Surah An-Nisa, verse 46: Allah has cursed them because of their unbelief, it says. Whom? The people of Israel. Because of their unbelief.
So, except for very few of them, they do not believe.
Now here, in our own words too, there is a slight deficiency: we say "the people of Israel" and mean all of them, but except for very few — that is, there are some among them who turn back; that's how we'll say it. Among the people of Israel, except for very few, they have been cursed because of the unbelief they committed.
According to these verses, Allah Almighty decrees to the people of Israel: although I have spread all these blessings before you, do not rebel, and, remembering these blessings I have given, fulfill the duty of servanthood — Allah Almighty to the people of Israel. And whatever He said, they did the opposite. Whatever He said. When entering that gate, sir, say "hittah". They said "hintah". And: hear — we heard with our ears, sir, and denied in our hearts, they said. And they lived denying everything. In this case Allah Almighty: go to that town. Sir, take that town, they were told. They sent twelve scouts (?).
Each one came. Instead of telling Moses, he went and told his own people. And: O Moses, we will not fight them. They are very strong people. You, sir, fight together with Allah, with your Lord. Win the battle there. Then we'll come, they said. What they said to the verse given to them. This is such a people. Yes. Here a question like this may come to our mind: Although our Lord knows what people will do according to the covenants given to Allah Almighty, why does Allah Almighty give warnings in this way? That is, (?) why does He speak like this?
We said Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes. Although He took a covenant from mankind — that is, although He made a covenant at the covenant of "Alastu bi-rabbikum" — by sending man to the realm of possession where His essence is not seen, He wrote his covenant as his destiny and made his destiny unknown to him. In this case, Allah Almighty reminds the human being He sent to earth, to the unseen realm, of the existence of His essence, and leads the way for them.
Only when man lives his destiny can he say, through the deeds he did within his knowledge, "This is my destiny" — within the deeds he did. He cannot know a moment later. That is why Allah Almighty decrees the verse: We do not hold anyone responsible for what We did not make known. For this reason, since people's destinies are closed to them, in this great realm He makes His verses known to people in every language they will understand, and with the verses in which He says, Allah does not refrain from giving the example of a mosquito or something greater, He warns people, and thus places all responsibility on man himself.
For this reason Allah Almighty does not refrain from giving people warnings in a way they will understand. Yes, Allah Almighty never refrains in any way from warning people in a way they will understand. He gives warnings continually.
