“Now abstain from rebelling against Allah and obey me.”
Tafsir
Hadrat Lot continues to warn his people. O my people! Give up this ugly deed you are doing. Beware of disobeying Allah. Obey me. Know that the path you have taken will lead you to disasters. But Allah is the Most Forgiving of mankind and the Most Merciful. Allah will forgive you your sins if you fear Allah and repent.
O my people! He said that if you disobey Allah's commands in dark and dead-end paths, turning away from Allah, the Creator of you and me and of the worlds, the punishment of that one day will surely overtake you.
What is said in the video
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Fettekullâhe ve etîûn. So beware of opposing Allah and obey me, he says. Yes, Prophet Salih. Prophet Lot (peace be upon him) continues his warnings to his people. This is (?) Lot, we are saying. This is the people of Lot. Prophet Lot says to his own people: so beware of opposing Allah and obey me. Because the people of Prophet Lot are a homosexual people. That is, they left women, and with (?), God forbid, with their evil traits, with things our Lord does not want, these are the deeds of people who already oppose Allah. And now, too, non-Muslims marry homosexuals, they even permit it.
Marrying homosexuals. God forbid. Although they knew that the people of Lot met with disaster, which they do know, Allah Almighty holds none of you to account for what He has not made known. These people, opposing Allah in this way through homosexuality, thinking with pride and arrogance that they are doing something great, are people who have fallen into Satan's trap. They are the firewood of hell's blazing fire. In a verse Allah Almighty describes the fire of hell, He says. Its fire is stones and people, He says, its fuel. Stones and people. Yes. So beware of opposing Allah and obey me, Prophet Lot says to his people.
Prophet Lot (peace be upon him) continues his warnings to his people. O my people, now give up this ugly deed you are doing. Beware of opposing Allah. Obey me. Know that the path you have taken leads you to disasters. But Allah is most forgiving toward people and vast in mercy. If you fear Allah and repent, Allah forgives your sins. Yes. No matter how sinful you are, the Prophet (peace be upon him) says so. Even if your sins reached the stars in the sky, when you repent (?) once, Allah Almighty turns your good deeds, your sins into good deeds, he says.
O my people! If, on dark and dead-end paths, drifting away from Allah who created you, me and also the worlds, you go against Allah's commands, then surely the punishment of a day will seize you, he said. What is the punishment of that day? As He did to other peoples, a destruction, a blast, let me say, collapsing onto their knees, sir, His destroying many peoples, and the like.
