Upon this, We saved him and his entire family.
Tafsir
When Hadrat Lut 'alaihis-salâm' prayed to Allah (swt), Allah (swt) accepted the prayer of Hadrat Lut (alaihis-salâm). Therefore, Allah sent His messengers from the angels to Hadrat Lot and ordered him to leave the town at night. Hadrat Lut 'alaihis-salâm' also left the town, taking his followers and family members with him.
What is said in the video
Verse 170 of Surah Ash-Shu'ara: thereupon We saved him and all his family, it says. All his family, except only an old woman, it says. Because that old woman informed on the guests who came to Lot, that is, those angels, to the people, that is, she told the people, saying that such and such handsome people had come.
That is one meaning. In another meaning, because she considered what they did permissible.
Anyway, the two come together. Yes. When Lot (peace be upon him) prayed to Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty accepted the prayer of Lot (peace be upon him). For this reason Allah Almighty sent His messengers from among the angels to Lot (peace be upon him) and commanded them to leave the town at night. Lot (peace be upon him), taking those who followed him and his family members, left the town.
