For Allah to reward them with the best they are doing, whether small or large, all their spending and all valleys they are crossing are written for their benefit.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) is all-powerful, yet He creates events among people to reveal those who are obedient to Allah (swt) and those who are disobedient. Each soul receives rewards and sins by acting in accordance with the traits it desires.
In return for the struggle that people wage for the sake of Allah in the way of Allah, with their lives and their wealth, Allah (swt) gives rewards to those who spend for the sake of Allah and pursue the enemy, and raises their rank in His sight, for Allah (swt) does not need anything, and He gives rewards to those who submit to the command of Allah and spend for the sake of Allah and pursue the enemy. He grants them great rewards for every step they take, for every hunger and thirst, for every breath they take and for every time that passes, for the hardships they endure for the sake of Allah. By multiplying them many times over, rewards will be written in favor of these people.
What is said in the video
Verse 121 of Surah At-Tawbah: so that Allah may reward them with the best of what they used to do, every expense, small or large, that they made, every valley they crossed, is surely written in their favour, He says. Allah, Allah! (?) I am alive. If only we were like them.
Allah says: so that He may reward them with the best of what they used to do, that is, whatever his best deed in the world is, He will reward him with that best deed. You know, after that, after that good deed, he may do some lower deeds — still good, but deeds that do not reach his capacity. But just as Allah Almighty rewards him with the best, as He said, from every valley, every walk, every place he passes, in every deed, gathering their rewards, many times over, Allah Almighty, in his favour, will increase his treasure. Moreover He will grant gifts from His own Being. With such a Lord, what business do we have with Ahmet and Mehmet?
With such a Lord, why should we not be His servants? Why should we not love Him? Why should we not carry out His command? Why should we not be brothers to one another? Why, though Allah Almighty created us imperfect, over our mistakes should we not embrace one another? Why? Why should we, as Islam, not illuminate one another with the light of Islam? What is the reason? Look, this is how beautiful our Lord is. We have a great Lord. We have a great Owner.
Yes. Tomorrow we will give account in His presence.
Yes. So that Allah may reward them with the best of what they used to do, every expense, small or large, that they made, every valley they crossed, is surely written in their favour.
Although Allah Almighty is able to do all things, to bring out those among people who are obedient to Allah and those who are wretched, He creates events for them. Every soul, acting by the traits it desires, earns reward and sin.
So, in return for the struggle people make in Allah's way for Allah, and for striving with their lives and wealth — since Allah Almighty is in need of nothing — to those who submit to Allah's command, spend for Allah and pursue the enemy, He gives rewards and raises their ranks in His sight.
For every step he takes, for going hungry and thirsty, for every breath he takes and every passing moment, for the hardships he endured for Allah, He grants them great rewards. These, increasing these rewards, in favour of these people He writes rewards. Allah Almighty says: from His own Being, too, there are gifts for them. And (?) there are good gifts. Yes.
