Without a doubt! In the sight of Allah, Islam is the true religion. Due to enviousness, those who were given Books have gone to conflict among each other after knowledge came to them. Those who deny Allah’s verses should know that Allah’s judgment is swift.
Tafsir
The religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. Allah has revealed the ways of guidance to the people who will come until the Day of Judgment with His Holy Qur'an and has proved His existence. Neither a prophet nor a book will come after this. In this respect, Allah invites all people to the Qur'an and declares that Islam is the religion in my religion. A question may come to mind: Allah sent the Bible, the Torah and the Psalms. Why did He change their religions? Since their religion is not Islam, what is their status?
The Book and the Prophets whom He sent to them were on the nature of Islam. Those who follow those prophets and the Book are also on the nature of Islam. If they were not of the Islamic nature, the Torah, the Gospel and the Psalms would not be in the Qur'an. Since all of this is in the Qur'an, according to the understanding of the people, books were sent to these people with verses from the Qur'an in parts. According to the verse that says, "We do not put a burden on your backs that you cannot bear," He sent prophets and books to them within their mental capacities.
Finally, when a time was reached when there would be no more prophets and books, when the minds came into play, Allah (swt) gathered people under various religions under Islam by gathering them in the Qur'an, the book He sent to the whole human world with the Prophet (s.a.w.), who was the Prophet of Hatemen (peace be upon him).
People who are not ruled by the religion of Islam, those who only believe in books such as the Bible, Torah and Psalms, since the originals of these books are found in the Holy Qur'an, those who believe in the heavenly Books such as the Torah, Psalms and the Bible, must also believe in the Holy Qur'an and embrace the religion of Islam. Allah (swt) sent the Qur'an as a mercy to the worlds, and those who deny the Qur'an, who do not believe in the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.), deny his own book, the Bible, the Torah and the Psalms, and people who fall into this situation become infidels.
Even if they say, "No, I read my own book and I do not deny it," Allah has ordained that people should live together as a community, as brothers and sisters. He does not divide people into different religions and drag them into religious strife. If the world is governed by a state, we are obliged to obey the laws of that state.
If a state enacts various laws within itself, not only will people be confused as to which law they will be subject to, but also if there are fights between each other over your religion and my religion, people will lose their peace of mind and end up in dark paths and dead ends. Just as there were religious fights between the crusader armies and the Islamic religion because of differences of belief. As long as people are in this ideology and understanding, they attribute shortcomings to Allah. However, Allah does not fit into people's minds. They are obliged to do what Allah has suggested to them. Otherwise they rebel against Allah and become disbelievers. God forbid they end up in eternal hell.
This is why Allah says that Islam is the religion in my religion, for unity and solidarity, so that people will not be divided. Those who rebel against Allah, those who go outside the religion of Islam, those who consciously deny a verse of the Qur'an or the last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) or those who associate shirk with Allah, they are disbelievers.
(Those to whom the Book was given, after the knowledge came to them, they differed among themselves in jealousy). In the lines I have described above, they disobeyed the religion sent by Allah as the religion of you and me because of their jealousy, and they differed. They deliberately denied Allah's religion. Because of their stubbornness and jealousy, they preferred truth to falsehood.
Those who disbelieve in the Verses of Allah should know that Allah's Reckoning is swift) Here in the first sense we can understand it as follows. A thousand years of this world is one day compared to the Hereafter. Allah, who creates time within time, accordingly makes the human life span in this realm live in a unit of time of an hour or an hour and a half. Accordingly, of course, the reckoning will be swift.
A person thinks that his life is long, but he does not realize that his life is short according to the above calculation. When the moment of death comes to him, when he remembers the time between his childhood and death, events unfold before his eyes as if he had never lived a life. One realizes that one is living life like when one sees a cigarette smoke in front of one's eyes and it disappears in a short time.
A person thinks that his life is long and sees the years ahead of him as long as if they will never come. However, in the course of the events created by Allah (swt), a person is caught in the grip of death before he even realizes how time passes in the current of these events.
From this, we understand that time in the eyes of Allah is not like the time we live in, but is much shorter, and that Allah, who has fit a thousand years of the worldly realm into one day of the Hereafter, has also proved the eternal life in the Hereafter. According to this situation, Allah (swt), who creates time within time, has also created immortality with His knowledge.
In this respect, a person does not realize how his life is passing. Before he knows it, death is at the door. The day of reckoning before Allah has come.
Allah created human beings and made a covenant with them in the spirit world. The covenant that each person made with Allah has been written down by Allah as his destiny. That person's account is already settled in Allah's sight. In this respect, his account will be settled quickly. If you install a program on a computer, and this program is your life, when you open this computer, your life will appear before you. From here, your account will be seen very quickly.
What is said in the video
Surah Al Imran, verse 19. That is where we had stopped; we said that because it is very long, until this evening let us leave it, and Allah gave us life and we have reached these days; we will try to explain this verse to you.
What does Allah Almighty say in His verse? Without doubt, the religion in the sight of Allah is nothing but Islam.
And in another verse: whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, that religion will never benefit him, He says. Yes. Those who were given the Book, after knowledge had come to them, fell into division among themselves out of envy. Those who deny the verses of Allah should know that Allah is very swift in reckoning. Now, He says the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. The religion is Islam. Because what was sent by Allah Almighty in the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel is the verses of Allah, it is upon the nature of Islam. Long ago, some also tried to claim Abraham as their own. Some said Jew, some said Christian.
And Allah Almighty said of Abraham: he was neither a Jew nor a Christian. He walks upon a perfectly straight path, a Hanif. Hanif. What is Hanif? One who never, since childhood, worshipped idols, on a straight path, in the sense of one who (?) Allah, who obeys Allah. He was a Hanif. So, since our father Adam, everything that Allah Almighty has made known is upon the nature of Islam.
In that case, look what He says now: the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam, nothing but. Those who were given the Book, after knowledge had come to them, He says. The meaning here is this: after knowledge had come to them. That is, Allah Almighty sent the Torah, the Psalms or the Gospel, and the people who were governed by those verses, those who were governed by them, were upon the nature of Islam, all of them.
After knowledge had come to them: what is this knowledge? It is the books Allah Almighty sent to them. He says People of the Book, right? The meaning of People of the Book, we said it before: by Allah Himself sent books, that is, verses.
In that case they came to possess a knowledge through the books I sent, says Allah Almighty. And those people thought themselves to be the close ones of Allah. Some even said: we are the sons of Allah. In that case they granted themselves a privilege above people, in their own thinking.
So when prophethood came to the Prophet, when prophethood came from the Banu Hashim, known as the orphan of Abdullah, and with that view among the Arabs, who gave no value to orphans, the Jews too became envious. In lineage we were more glorious, we were more numerous. Although the books and the prophets always came from among us, how could this Muhammad, from the Banu Hashim and an orphan, receive prophethood, they said. They could not bear him, and out of their envy they abandoned Islam. They did not enter, they did not enter Islam. They could not know, they could not know. What could they not know?
That all people were created indirectly from the spirit of the Prophet they could not know. Since the prophets were created from the spirit of the Prophet, and from the spirits of the prophets the spirits of the peoples, indirectly all people were created from the spirit of the Prophet, and since the worlds were created from his light, he has come in both worlds (?) and as a mercy to the worlds. He: ve mâ erselnâke illâ rahmeten li'l-âlemîn. He has come as a mercy to the worlds. In that case, since Allah Almighty is just, since He carries out right and justice, the Prophet, from whose light He created the worlds and from whose spirit He created people, above all prophets, as the one who seals the prophets, the first He created, Habib-i Kibriya, Hatemen Nebi, Muhammad (peace be upon him): His bringing him as the last prophet caused, among the Jews, among some peoples, envy.
They could not recognize their forefather; they denied. They could not recognize the greatest of the worlds, of the created; they veered into denial. For this reason they were cursed. Some were cursed, and some did not know Allah. For this reason they went so far as to ascribe partners to Allah. They called Jesus the son of Allah, and Lady Mary, From some persons other than Allah, whom they call His son or His wife, they expect help. In that case, since they are outside the religion of Islam, they are unbelievers. This is what Allah Almighty says. They are unbelievers. They have no religion either; they are without religion.
Because in the understanding of religion, the words of Allah, besides whom there is no god, sent by Allah Almighty to people as law, the words of Allah, that is His verses, are the religion. Religion, that is, the created one knowing his Creator, recognizing the laws He has set for humanity, not forcing the limits of Allah's laws; and so, for the people He created deficient in mind, our Lord making known the sharia rulings that light their way: that, for people, is religion. Ideologies are not religion.
So: into the books Allah Almighty sent, they themselves, through the rabbis, according to their own wishes, put words and attributed those words to Allah; the worship that such people perform within their ideologies is shirk. They have no religion either. The worship done by people without religion is like pounding water in a mortar. The worship performed by people without religion is like the stone a blind man throws. These people have deified their own nafs, living this world by the lusts of their nafs, their desires and wishes, expecting a Lord according to their own minds, and again by their own minds, that Lord of theirs: by their wealth and property, or by their obedience to it, a creature that will save them, having the power; waiting for it, they take refuge in it.
In that case, what does Allah Almighty say? They will not see their Lord.
Why will they not see Him? Because a Lord as they imagine Him does not exist. That is, there is no god but Allah. In that case these people, acting on their own lusts of the nafs, objected to the prophethood of the Prophet (peace be upon him). So in this case they left the religion. Here is what He says: without doubt, the religion in the sight of Allah is nothing but Islam. Those who were given the Book, after knowledge had come to them, among themselves, out of envy; look what He is telling us. Out of envy they fell into division. Those who deny the verses of Allah should know that Allah is very swift in reckoning.
Look what we wrote in the commentary. The religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. Allah has made known the paths of guidance to the people who will come until the Last Day through the Holy Quran, and has proven His existence. In any case Allah Almighty, to every person of reason, openly, outwardly and outward, to seeing and non-seeing eyes hidden; that is, except people who turn their backs on Allah with the feelings of the nafs, excepted, that is, those who with the desires of the nafs, their own nafs deifying, within their own lusts of the nafs, their own ideologies make a flag and wave it, such people.
Out of envy they turned their backs on the religion of Islam. So Allah Almighty has made known the paths of guidance to people through the Holy Quran, and has proven His existence. His existence. With the earlier verses we have already been proving the existence of Allah Almighty all along anyway. Here there is no need to prove it additionally. For this reason Allah, by inviting all people to the Quran, decrees: in His sight the religion is Islam. Why does He invite to the Quran? Why does He say the religion in His sight is Islam? He sent the Torah, He sent the Psalms, He sent the Gospel. Yes, He sent them.
With their originals, the Torah, Psalms and Gospel, within the verses, are in the Holy Quran. For this reason, they too lived upon the nature of Islam. Those who carried out Allah's commands passed on to the hereafter as Muslims. And those who turned their backs on those books, like in this time, went as unbelievers. So, since what is in the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel is in the Holy Quran, those who obeyed them in their time also lived and died upon the nature of Islam. And now, since these books are in the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty says to people: O people, O mankind! Since no more prophet will come, and until the Last Day it is a time when minds come into play, in such a time I am sending you four; three books, with the Quran combined, four books at once I am sending you.
With whom? With Muhammad (peace be upon him). I am sending it with the Prophet who is a mercy to the worlds.
Because since he was created first, since He created the worlds from his light and from his spirit created people: to raise his glory until the Last Day, or as it is said with the religion of Islam, until the Last Day to raise it, dealing with his glory and with His justice, the one He created first; since He created all people from his spirit and the worlds from his light, giving him a separate place among the created, He brings him as the last prophet, and the religion of Islam, his religion, until the Last Day He keeps standing. And Allah Almighty proves that his religion will continue until the Last Day with this verse.
What does He say? Did they think they would extinguish the light of Allah with the blowing of their mouths? Allah will complete His light until the Last Day, He says. In that case, if the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam: O people, all the Torah, Psalms and Gospel I sent you, those books are gathered in the Quran. Your Lord is one, a single god. Your Prophet is Muhammad (peace be upon him). In this case, though you were created by a single god, if you are envious and fall into division, Allah Almighty will settle your account very swiftly on the Day of Judgement. What does He say after this? Neither a prophet nor a book is going to come.
For this reason Allah, inviting all people to the Quran, says: in His sight the religion is Islam, so He decrees. A question like this may come to our minds. Allah also sent the Gospel, the Torah and the Psalms. Why did He change their religions? Since their religion is not Islam, what is their status? So one may ask. If a person lacks knowledge he may ask a question like this. We gave the answer to this a moment ago. With the books and prophets He sent them, they were upon the nature of Islam. Those who followed those prophets and books are also upon the nature of Islam. I explained this part a moment ago.
If they had not been upon the nature of Islam, the Torah, Gospel and Psalms would not be found in the Quran. Since all of them are in the Quran, according to people's understanding, part by part, books were sent to these people with verses from the Quran.
Part by part, with verses. Why? Part by part, with verses, to these people few verses were made known. Minds were not yet in play. People were living in a primitive way.
Allah Almighty does not load onto people's backs a burden they cannot carry. With the life of people in that state, the lives of people in past ages (?). In that case, for them, loads as much as they can carry; technology there is none. They do not possess knowledge.
And their era is not like the eras of our time; it is behind. In that case, in the Torah the ten commandments, in the Psalms a few verses, in the Gospel also a few verses; with these Allah Almighty makes known that those governed by these verse words, upon the nature of Islam, those who obeyed their prophets and the books, lived upon the nature of Islam and came to Him upon the nature of Islam. He makes known that they returned to Allah Almighty. The others, just as in this time they deny Islam, are unbelievers, in that time too, those who denied those books and prophets went as unbelievers. Yes.
All of these, the Torah, Psalms and Gospel, would not be in the Quran. Since all of them are in the Quran, according to people's understanding, part by part books were sent to these people with verses from the Quran. According to His verse saying 'We do not load onto your backs what you cannot bear', to them He sent prophets and books within their mental capacity. That is, the Torah, Psalms and Gospel, as we said a moment ago, are upon the nature of Islam too, because the verses were sent by Allah. Every prophet and verse sent is upon the nature of Islam. Those who obey, obey upon the nature of Islam.
But after the Prophet (peace be upon him) came, it is not 'my book is the Gospel. My book is the Psalms. Or my book is the Torah.' Although all of them are gathered in the Quran, the one who came as prophet to both worlds, and the Holy Quran that Allah Almighty sent to all people: those who deny His Holy Quran do harm to their own selves. With their own lusts of the nafs they choose the paths of the swamp, and in that case they are subjected to Allah's punishment in the world of the hereafter.
Finally, when a time was reached in which no prophet or book will come again and minds come into play, Allah Almighty, with the Prophet (peace be upon him) who is Hatemen Nebi, the books He sent to the whole of humankind He gathered in the Quran, and so the people under various religions He has gathered in Islam. That is, those who follow the Torah, those who follow the Psalms, those who follow the Gospel, in various understandings of religion of their own, but following the books; for example, those who follow the Gospel they called Christianity.
Those who follow the Torah or those who follow the Psalms they called Hebrews. All of these Allah Almighty gathered in the Holy Quran; the nature of Islam: they were already upon the nature of Islam anyway. Allah Almighty, the single god of all people, wanted a single god to be worshipped. But these fell into division because there was envy among them.
What did we say? Finally, when a time was reached in which no prophet or book will come again and minds come into play, Allah Almighty, with the prophet who is Hatemen Nebi, our Prophet, the books sent to the whole of humankind He gathered in the Quran, and the people under various religions in Islam He has gathered. People not governed by the religion of Islam, those who believe only in the Gospel, the Torah and the Psalms and such books: since the originals of their books are in the Holy Quran, those who believe in the Torah, Psalms, Gospel and such heavenly books must, believing in the Holy Quran too, be honoured with the religion of Islam.
Since you believe in the Psalms, the other one believes in the Torah, the other in the Gospel, and all of them are in the Holy Quran, and since Allah Almighty will not commit injustice in this world, since all servants, the people He created, are equal in His sight, if He loads me with a hundred responsibilities, you with fifty responsibilities, and the other one with ten responsibilities, Allah Almighty would be discriminating between His servants. So, with a ruling by which people of past times could be governed, in this time, with all the possibilities you have, the book by which people of that time were governed: if you say I will be governed by it, you become rebellious against Allah's command And by not entering the religion of Islam you will be branded an unbeliever.
So if the book in your hand is in the Holy Quran, and in the Holy Quran their originals are there: 'how do we know, the original in the Holy Quran', you may say. 'How do we know? How do we know that it too was not changed?' Look what Allah Almighty says in His verse. We sent down the Quran. Not a single letter of it is distorted or tampered with, He says.
And until the Last Day We are its guardian, He says. Great. But the other books were changed. So if the originals of those books are in the Quran, and the absolute Owner of the worlds makes it known so, and has taken on the guarding of the Quran, if, according to His verse 'who is truer to his word than Allah', He tells us that to the Quran no damage of any kind will be done, then there is no damage whatsoever in the Quran. The Holy Quran, with the originals of all the books, is by Allah Himself sent down, a pure revelation. That is, an unmixed word.
Yes.
Allah Almighty sent the Holy Quran as a mercy to the worlds.
What is mercy? Mercy: to a person
giving some support, granting him some material things, giving some positions; from that person to him that is mercy. So Allah, who created us deficient in mind, the Almighty, Allah Almighty lighting our way with His verses, protecting us from calamities, against all kinds of disasters, with verses holding a light before us, sending His verses to us as proof, is surely for us a mercy. So whoever goes outside the verses of the Quran, turns his back on the verses of Allah, their hearts are restless and scattered. They cannot find peace. In this world they go around in a fix, with both feet in one shoe.
Because they could not be patient with what comes from Allah, and trust in Him they could not show.
Allah Almighty sent the Holy Quran as a mercy to the worlds. Those who deny the Quran, who do not believe in Muhammad (peace be upon him), their own books, the Gospel, Torah and Psalms, they deny as well, and people who fall into this state become unbelievers. Yes, what was it? Since the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel are in the Holy Quran, their originals of course, if they say 'we do not believe in that, we believe in the one we have': because people inserted their own ideologies into them, those who pin their own ideologies onto Allah as religion; since those books please their lusts of the nafs, if they turn their backs on Allah's verses, they become unbelievers.
Even if they say: no, I read my own book, I do not deny; Allah has commanded that people live together as one, like brothers That is: you apart, you apart, you apart; if separate, separate worships were done, what would a person say? What is my fault? Allah created him too, Allah created me too. Why? Would he not say, He loaded this on me and that on him? Didn't Allah have the attribute of justice, he would say. So, in order for Allah Almighty not to discriminate between people, to all people, the one who is the greatest, the greatest of people, Muhammad (peace be upon him), He sent to them as a prophet.
That is, to the worlds. And with the Holy Quran He sent His life-giving word to all people.
In that case, that all people, together as one, in unity and togetherness, live, and obey the same laws, He commanded. Gathering people group by group under other religions, into religious strife Allah Almighty would never drag them. If we take the world to be governed by one state, that state's laws, to obey them we are obliged. Not this world but the sovereign of the universe, the creator of this universe: if we see these worlds as a single being, a single being, a single creation, the law of all of them, of all created things, Allah Almighty has made known. Those who go outside this law surely suffer the penalty.
If a state issues various different laws within itself, people are confused about which law to follow, and moreover among themselves 'your religion, my religion', fights break out, and just as people's peace is lost, on dark roads they get into dead ends. That is, for those who want to follow the Torah, Psalms and Gospel we are giving an example. We say: a state's; take the world as one state, governed by a single state, a single state, all people brothers, as children of our father Adam.
If that, the world's single state, issues laws to people part by part, grants privileges to people part by part, those people against that state rise in rebellion. Wouldn't they? I chose you as my head; why do you do it this way for him and that way for this one? Well, wouldn't we say to Him: You are my Lord, why did you do it this way for him and that way for this one? What was the difference between us? Why did you create him like that and me like this? Wouldn't one say it? Does He divide people into religions, group by group? Doesn't Allah have the attribute eleysallâhu bi-ahkemi'l-hâkimîn, Judge of judges, doesn't He, (?), if My mercy in the universe is for everyone, and if He does not discriminate between His servants, then to the people who will come until the Last Day, as a single ummah, to all people He sends the Quran.
And as prophet, Hatemen Nebi, Muhammad (peace be upon him), He sends. Meanwhile, whoever wants makes division, whoever wants pulls himself to whatever side he wants, and in this case whoever wants sinks into the swamps, and whoever wants, in this sinking ship, swimming on the surface of the sea, brings himself to safety. Because the world is a swamp too; here too we are in a struggle. Blessed is the one who saves (?) in this sea, who saves it in this wave. Yes.
Because of differences of belief,
let us read this from above: if a state issues various different laws within itself, just as people are confused about which law to follow, also among themselves 'your religion, my religion', fights break out, and just as people's peace is lost, on dark roads they get into dead ends. Because of differences of belief, between the Crusader armies and the religion of Islam just as there were religious wars, with Crusader armies, every ten years, the Christians gathered and against the Ottomans, who appeared as the leader of the religion of Islam, against the Ottomans they charged. Every ten years.
As long as people are within this ideology and understanding, they ascribe attributes to Allah. Yet Allah does not fit into people's minds. Whatever path and whatever Allah recommends to people, people are obliged to do that. Whatever He says, whatever He recommends, whatever He sends. Because He is the Owner of the worlds, of all these created things the Owner, and one day in His presence we will give account, and that is the last stop we will go to.
You work in a factory. You work in a government office. They give you a task. If you don't do it, they settle your account.
People too seem irresponsible in the world. In fact there is such a yoke on their necks that, before their Lord's commands, those who do and those who don't, if only they knew they are being filmed every moment before a video tape. Tomorrow, on the Day of Judgement, second by second, what people did, to them will be shown.
In that case, people who seem to be on the loose in this world, and, in this understanding living, to (?) their own results, their nafs those who deify, they do harm to their own selves.
Yet Allah does not fit into people's minds. Whatever path and whatever Allah recommends to people, they are obliged to do it. Otherwise they rebel against Allah, they become unbelievers. God forbid, they fall into the state of being eternally in hell. So for this reason Allah, for unity and togetherness, so that people do not fall into division, decrees: the religion in His sight is Islam.
Whoever seeks a religion other than the religion of Islam, never, He says, will that religion benefit him. So today, outside the religion of Islam, with many superstitions, for material gain deceiving people, those who covet material things too,
if, to live their worldly traits, they turn their backs on Allah, and onto the paths of these sophistries, the paths of these superstitions they follow, then in the sight of Allah on the Day of Judgement, the hell of which He says 'what an evil bed it is', of which He says 'what an evil place of return it is', they enter it; and so in this world those people, living in pleasure and delight, will have exchanged eternal bliss for the fire. They will have exchanged it for its fire, its punishment. In that case, for the sake of a few hours' life in this world the deathless, eternal world of the hereafter they will have turned into punishment.
Can you call such people intelligent people?
An intelligent person is a person who thinks of his future. His future. If he deals with his past, he circles in a whirlpool. Imagine a whirlpool. Throw in a piece of wood. Since that piece of wood floats on the water, it turns around that whirlpool. Or like a mill horse, they have covered its eyes; the mill horse, with (?), around its own axis turns and draws water. So these too, in this world, eyes blind like that, like a mill horse keep going round. So they, just as they are blind in this world, are blind in the hereafter too, He says. But people misunderstand this verse, poor people. Oh, the blind will supposedly be blind there too.
Oh, there, sir, they will supposedly be resurrected blind.
Allah does not make deficiency. If they were resurrected blind there, those spirits would have become blind too.
If we go deeper here, in that address Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, when Allah Almighty made a covenant with them, these people say: I do not see you, what kind of person are you, what kind of being are you, that you are trying to introduce yourself to me; I do not know you, I cannot see you. Anyway, what does it say? He was born upon his true form, right? So everyone saw his true form. We will get to those parts too. So what is this? Those who turn their backs on the verses of Allah Almighty, who deify their nafs, and who, the more they hear the verses of Allah, come to the point where the clouds in the sky would split, they are blind. They are blind to the truth.
Their ears are deaf to the truth, they are deaf. Since they cannot speak the truth before the truth, He says they are mute; and since they turned their backs on the truth, they are blind. So: hatemallâhu alâ kulûbihim ve alâ sem'ihim ve alâ ebsârihim gışâveh ve lehüm azâbün azîm. People who correspond to this verse.
They are blind, they are deaf, and they do not see, He says. Their hearts are sealed, He says of them. For this reason.
Because they will be in the same understanding in the world of the hereafter too. Which understanding, Hodja? In the understanding of a Lord they wait for according to their own fantasies, because they will be in it. Well, Hodja, here it happened, fine. There we see, don't we; how will it be then? There, since it is wished in the same nature anyway, those characters in you are fixed. You cannot overcome your characters. Within those characters you gave your covenant. There too, within the same characters, you will see your Lord as the functionary of the Lord you imagine, and because of your wealth and property, Him belittling, you will see yourself as great.
In that case, since you wait for the Lord you imagine, to take revenge on the Lord who created you you will wait for an opportunity. So with this feeling, when they enter hell, they there, as they see the punishment, will grow in rebellion against Allah Almighty.
And as their rebellion increases, they will stay there forever. The reason for their staying forever is this. So these are blind.
There too they will not be able to see Allah. That is, we say it in a figurative sense. they will not be able to recognize Allah. If they had recognized Him, Allah is not one who punishes.
Yes.
So for this reason Allah, for unity and togetherness, so that people do not fall into division, decrees: the religion in His sight is Islam. (?). As for those who leave the religion of Islam: those who knowingly deny a verse from the Quran or the last one sent, Hateme-i Nebi, Muhammad, or who ascribe partners to Allah, they become unbelievers.
It is understood, I suppose, inshallah. Those who were given the Book, after knowledge had come to them, fell into division by being envious among themselves. So, from the lines I explained above: these, saying 'your religion, my religion', out of their envy did not obey the religion Allah sent; they fell into division. Knowingly they denied the religion of Allah; out of their stubbornness and envy they preferred the truth to falsehood. Whom did they envy? Muhammad (peace be upon him). Why did they envy him? Because he did not come from among them. So these could not know. What? That earlier, indirectly, they were created from the spirit of the Prophet (peace be upon him), they could not know. They, very short-sightedly, saw their own generations and could not go beyond that.
For this reason, judging with their short minds, they denied their forefather.
Those who deny the verses of Allah should know that Allah is very swift in reckoning. Here, in the first sense, we can understand it like this: of this world a thousand years are one day relative to the hereafter. Allah Almighty, who creates time within time, accordingly lets a human life in this world last within a unit of time of about one or one and a half hours. Accordingly of course accounts will be settled swiftly. Man thinks his life long, man thinks his life long, yet by the reckoning above, that his life is short he cannot notice. The person who says 'I lived a long life', when the moment of death comes to him, recalling the time between childhood and death, as if he had never lived a life, the events spread out before his eyes. From that world of childhood, even if his life were five hundred years, in a very short time all that world comes before his eyes and ends.
Like cigarette smoke dispersing.
If you say: can you give an example, Hodja? Onto a CD, certain characters, we try to fit them; it won't take them. But by (?) it, by shortening it, as a very small character we can process it. Human life is like this too. The world he lives in seems like a wide world. But when that moment of death comes, what he lived since the world of childhood, like cigarette smoke dispersing before his eyes, will disperse. He will see it. And then he will realize that he never lived life. Here is a verse for you: they, when they are resurrected in the world of the hereafter, when from their graves We raise them, they will say: how long did we lie? Some: a day; the wise ones will say: we lay a little less than a day. Ask, He says, how long under the earth you lay, the noble angels charged with keeping count, He says. Yes.
Before his eyes, like cigarette smoke he sees it, and like the time in which that smoke vanishes in a short while, that is how a person understands he lived his life. A person, thinking his life is long, sees the years ahead of him as long, as if they would never come.
Just like a mountain across; he will climb the mountain. A long time. Or how far it goes beyond is unknown. It seems long. But when he looks back, the years have passed, the hair has turned white, if the person asks himself how long he lived, in a drunkenness, unable to know what to say, he realizes he lived so short a time. In a drunkenness.
Some events within his life that (?), let him remember. Some of them, and the others too, you cannot remember. Yes.
But within the events Allah Almighty creates, a person, with the flow of these events, without even noticing how time passed, has been seized by the collar by the claw of death.
From this we understand that time in the sight of Allah is not like the times we live, but corresponds to a much shorter time; Allah, who fits a thousand years of the world into one day of the hereafter, proves this in the hereafter, which is eternal life. Accordingly, Allah Almighty, who creates time within time, by His knowledge has also created deathlessness. For this reason a person does not grasp how his life passed; suddenly he sees death has come to the door, the day he will give account in Allah's presence has come.
Allah created people; while they were in the world of spirits He made a covenant with them; the covenant each person gave to Allah Almighty Allah wrote for him as destiny; that person's account, in the sight of Allah Almighty, is already known, known. For this reason his account is closed swiftly.
If you loaded a program onto a computer, and this program were your life, when you switch on this computer your life comes before you. From this too, your account is settled very swiftly.
In another sense: in the sight of Allah, since those who worship and those who do not are known, a crop field, imagine it.
Perhaps you have seen it. When the wind strikes, those ears of grain lean to the right and left like this, they wave. Exactly like this, in the hereafter, people, those of the right and those of the left, of whom it is said ve ashâbü'l-meymeneti mâ ashâbü'l-meymeneh, and ve ashâbü'l-meş'emeti mâ ashâbü'l-meş'emeh, will be separated like this. yes Inshallah Allah Almighty us too, in His sight, of those of the right and His righteous servants: the mercy He gave them, may He shower it on us too, and inshallah, with that mercy, to our Lord's presence when we go, may He grant us to be received with a smiling face. Yes.
