Vow to that; We’ve created seven paths (in the heavens) above you. We are not unknowing of creation.
Tafsir
(Sümme redetnahu esfele safilin) when he says We have sent you down to the lowest of the low, he is referring to the earth, which is the lowest layer of the seven layers of heaven. This Verse will be revealed to you in due course.
With this verse, He informs us that there are seven layers of heaven above the human being, who is at the lowest layer of the universe. He has created these seven layers of heaven above each other. Between each of them there are beings that cannot pass from one layer to another. All of these beings are in need of Allah and want Allah. Allah is the One who is aware of them and the One who fulfills their needs. In the first layer of the heavens there are the earth, the moon and the solar system, as well as thousands of stars and galaxies. After the first heaven, the other heavens are twice as big as each of them.
Accordingly, the earth is not even a dot in the first layer of the heavens compared to the seven layers of the heavens He created. Therefore, it is not difficult for Allah to understand how He is aware of His creations and the essence of things, in addition to His greatness with His attribute of knowledge. For Allah does not create His creatures apart from His Essence. In this respect, Allah is the One who knows His creations. Despite all these warnings, only the man who rebels against God persists in not recognizing his Lord.

Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 17, 17.
We have indeed created seven paths above you, it says. Seven paths. We are not unaware of creation, it says.
Now, by seven paths He means seven layers, that is, heavens layer upon layer; He created seven layers of heavens. Well, would the Creator be unaware of what He created? What does it say? We are not unaware of creation, it says. Would He be unaware of what He created? Now, the seven layers, one within another; in each layer there are created beings. In each layer.
The second layer, third layer, fourth layer, fifth layer.
Let me describe this to you. What is it like? I have seen it. My Lord showed me many things. The counterparts of the verses.
Take the world, the world, as seven layers, like this. It has parallels. Parallels. Like this.
Between those parallels (?) one, two, three, four, five, six, seven parallels, like this. All those created within each of them, toward Allah Almighty, are in longing, surging like this in longing. Now in spring, when you look ahead like this, below your eyes, from the ground you see vapours rising like this. It doesn't matter. You have all surely seen this. Just so, between each layer, in such a way that one cannot pass from one to another, created by Allah Almighty, we'll call it a magnetic field now. There are magnetic fields. There is no crossing from any layer to any layer. But those who are to cross have their crossings at a certain point, from a certain point.
For instance, I too passed through those points. Allah Almighty granted it. Like this, a wall, a wall, the wall comes down just like a ship's gangway, you go up from there upward. The main gate; at the main gate they ask for your particulars. Who are you? they ask. It is known that you will pass at the same hour from the same place. And when I arrived there, they saw my name, my particulars there. (?), they say, has that much time passed? To me. Has that much time passed? I went as far as Sidrat al-Muntaha. I went as far as Sidrat al-Muntaha. I saw Paradise and Hell too. They showed me around. People cannot work out the meanings of the verses with Arabic.
This is not a meaning to be worked out with Arabic. Without having seen, you cannot cope with these.
We have indeed created seven paths above you, it says. Its lowest layer is the world, what is called asfal as-safilin, the lowest of the low. They misunderstand this too. They say Hell. The lowest of the low is Hell. They put people into Hell. But Allah Almighty does not say Hell. Hell is not at the bottom of the lowest. Well then, where is Hell? Hell
