While its people are good and corrective, your Lord does not destroy nations with injustice.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) is not only just, but also kind and merciful to His creatures. He does not unjustly oppress any tribe or people and does not destroy them. Allah increases the good deeds of those who do good by many folds to encourage them to do good, while He punishes those who do evil with the like of their evil deeds, i.e. He only punishes them for what they have done. Allah does not like doing injustice. Rather, He sends messengers, Books and scholars to save people from oppression and torment.
Why did Allah create human beings? He created them to know Him. So if the people of a country recognize Allah and His Prophet and believe in the Hereafter, why would Allah destroy them? Does not Allah (swt) contradict His attribute of justice when He destroys the people of a country for no reason? Allah is free from deficient attributes. Even so, He wants His Essence to be known, and then He destroys those who know His Essence. This is not going to happen.
Therefore, if Allah destroys the people of a land, it is because they have pushed the limits set by Allah and have exceeded them in transgression. Since no crime goes unpunished, He destroys the people of a country because they are not the kind of people who are destined to reform. He already informs us about the reformed ones among them with His verse. (We saved the Prophet and those who believed with the Prophet, and destroyed the others). The fact that Allah (swt) saves those who believe in Him and destroys others, even among the oppressors, shows that Allah (swt) protects those who know Him (swt) with His attribute of justice and mercy. Therefore, Allah does not destroy people whose people are good by doing injustice to them.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 117 of Surah Hud.
Verses weigh heavily on people. They do not want to be with them.
Yet the verses give a person life and guide them to the truth. They give a person back their own self. They give a person the awareness of being human.
But see how, with the desire that the nafs gives people and the temptation that Satan gives people, a person falls into distress. They do not want to listen to Allah's verses.
If we had told fortunes here. If we had told fortunes. Here, at random. Things that would please people. As we explained in the verses above, if we had set Allah's verses aside and spoken in words that would flatter people's selfish feelings. Interest is lawful, fraud is permissible,
gambling and drinking should be done as one pleases, if we had said that, this place would fill to overflowing. It would fill to overflowing.
Yes. In this case, however much a person wants to be with Allah, their nafs and Satan put obstacles before them, put a veil in between and draw them away from Allah.
Today: while its people are good, your Lord does not destroy towns unjustly. So, let us always say 'Allah' and let Allah destroy us anyway, that is not possible. What does it say anyway? While its people are good, your Lord does not destroy towns unjustly. If Allah Almighty destroys a town, those who rebel against Allah always come together, all with the same mindset. Indeed, so that they get along well and can prove in the best way what kind of people they are, people of the same mindset come at the same time anyway. In this case, so that they are bad examples to the generations to come, Allah Almighty destroys them.
By saving the good people among them, the people after them multiply, becoming servants of Allah through good deeds, people who will be servants again knowing their Lord in the land, people multiply, and finally again among them people who have turned their backs on Allah come into the land and follow in their old forefathers' footsteps, to the same door (?), since it is within (?). And again destruction comes upon them, or they meet with calamities. Allah Almighty says in the verse that although only a little time had passed since these destroyed peoples, look how they followed in their forefathers' footsteps.
Yes.
Besides being just, Allah Almighty is, toward His creatures, (?) merciful. He does not wrong any (?), the people of any town, unjustly and does not destroy them. To encourage those who do good, Allah accepts the good deeds they do and multiplies them many times over, while for those who do evil He records only the like, that is, only the recompense of what they did, as sin.
Allah does not like to do wrong. On the contrary, to save people from wrongdoing and punishment He sends them messengers, books and scholars.
Why did Allah create people?
He created them so that His Essence would be known. So that His Essence would be known. He also created the angels so that His Essence would be known.
Although the angels know the Essence of Allah Almighty, they are programmed. That is, they are programmed by Allah Himself. To put it more clearly: a robot, you build a robot. Whatever work you will have it do, you program it for that. That robot. So, although the angels know Allah's Essence, by Allah's will, by His own wish and desire, He programmed into them the knowing of His Essence. He was going to create such a being that the being He created would program itself and, by the decisions it made itself, would know its Lord who created it. So this human, to whom He gave a part of His Essence, of His spirit, He created so that it would know His Essence.
That human, by knowing their Lord through their own decisions, fits Allah Almighty's purpose of creation. So, the spirit having the nafs and life, the aql-i maad and the intellect being there, in this case Allah Almighty, by creating a being equal to His Essence, that being He created equal, limiting it in intellect, its knowing that it is in need of His Essence and within the person's helplessness, and, through the decisions it has made, that it was created by its Lord and is in need of its Lord, fits Allah's purpose of creation. Yes. So in this case our Lord has neither an equal nor any being as a partner to Him.
Even though it is a part of His spirit, even if that part is a piece of the whole, even if it is endowed with those qualities, through the actual deeds it will perform, through the work it will do, through the judgements it will give, that it is itself responsible, that by itself it is a judgement or a judge, that the human has the ability to decide, and with these abilities a person distinguishes good and evil, and whether obeying or disobeying the One who created them, Allah Almighty willed that His Essence be known through that human. For this reason He gave them a part of His spirit.
So we say, why did Allah create people? He created them so that His Essence would be known. Then if the people of a town know Allah and the Prophet and believe in the Hereafter, why would Allah destroy the people of that town? Why had He created them anyway? He had created them so that His Essence would be known. Why would He destroy that town? Yes.
Would Allah Almighty destroying towns, the people of towns, for no reason not contradict His attribute of justice? Allah is free of deficient attributes. Despite this, that He should both want His Essence to be known and then (?) and destroy those who know His Essence? That is not possible. Indeed Allah's (?) says: I do not do such a thing. What does it say? While its people are good, your Lord does not destroy towns unjustly, it says. Yes.
So, if Allah destroys the people of a town, surely the people of that town pushed the limits Allah set. (?) they went beyond these limits. Since no crime will go unpunished, the peoples of the towns to be destroyed, in terms of their destiny, are not of the kind to be reformed, so He destroys them. Indeed, through the verse He informs us of those among them who are reformed.
Along with the Prophet, We saved those who believed and destroyed the others, He says. That even among the wrongdoers He saves those who believe in Him and destroys the others shows that Allah Almighty, with His attribute of justice, treats those who know Him with mercy and protects them. For this reason Allah does not wrong people who are good and destroy them. Yes.
