Translation

As a truthful promise from Allah, the return of all of you is only to Allah. (This is) because Allah first creates everything (Allah’s creation), and then returns them (to Allah’s side) to give justly rewards to those who believe and commit salih deeds. And to those infidels, because of what they deny, there is a drink that consists of boiling water and there is severe punishment.

Tafsir

(Only to Him is the return of all of you, as a true promise of Allah) and (all souls will taste death) means that all souls will surely die and our final return will be to Allah. This is because Allah is the Creator of all creation out of nothing. That none of the creatures was created without a cause and that they are all ultimately accountable to Allah, who is the sole owner of them all, that all creatures will be held to account in the Court of Judgment, that He will decide between those who believe and those who do not believe with justice, that those who believe and do good deeds will be rewarded with justice, and that after this reward He will return them to His presence for treats from His Essence.

As for those who disbelieve, they will be reckoned with justice in the presence of Allah. They will be punished for what they disbelieved in, with Hell and a thirsty drink of boiling water therein and a painful torment, eternal and everlasting.

What is said in the video

Allah Almighty, in Surah Yunus, verse 4, as a true promise of Allah: the return of all of you is only to Him, He says. As a true promise of Allah Almighty; He has no promise that isn't true, after all. Here He stresses it by saying true. No, He is stressing the complete seriousness of the matter here. As a true promise of Allah, that is, inevitably, every soul will taste death, and finally your return is to Me, He says; according to that verse all souls will die and the return of all of you is only to Him, that is, to Allah. Because He first created the creatures from nothing. Yes. Allah Almighty is capable of the art of creation.

What does Allah Almighty, who created the worlds without flaw, say? Because He brought the creatures into being beforehand, that is, from nothing. He created them. Then, to reward with justice those who believe and do good deeds, He brings them back to His presence.

What is it? Here, with justice, with justice, well, to reward. What you earn is the return of your two hands, He says. Today, without injustice being done to anyone, everyone will be given in full what he earned. And here what does it say? To reward with justice. That is, without anyone being shortchanged. That is, without injustice being done, to Allah Almighty's presence He brings them back. As for those who disbelieve, because of what they used to deny, for them there is a drink of boiling water and a painful punishment. There is a painful punishment. Yes.

If we open this verse a little more in detail in some places, for example: Then, to reward with justice those who believe and do good deeds; here, with justice to reward: after Allah Almighty gives that person his deeds, which are in return for what everyone has earned with his own two hands, Allah Almighty will additionally, to such people of faith, give rewards from Himself too. All the fine deeds they did in life will not go to waste, and they will be judged by the best deeds they did in life. After that, the good deeds he has done will be added to that best deed of his. Then Allah Almighty, besides His attribute of justice, will use His attribute of mercy, His attribute of generosity, and will bestow gifts on them from Himself.

Yes. With justice, He says, to reward, He brings them back to His presence. As for those who disbelieve, because of what they used to deny, for them there is a drink of boiling water and a painful punishment, He says.

There is no other god but Allah, after all; the non-Muslims, those disbelievers, are disbelievers.

Those who, besides Allah, hope for help from Allah's creations: in the realm of the hereafter it will be said to them thus: where are those you worshipped besides Allah? They too have left us and gone, they will say. So, of these clean and pure blessings Allah created, in the worldly realm, having made the very best use and having indulged in all kinds of pleasure and fun, without remembering Allah, after having enjoyed the blessings He gave, when you passed to the hereafter, in the presence of Allah Almighty who created you, did you think He would give you a reward?

Yes.

Which person receives kindness from someone, and the person who received kindness does evil to that person and doesn't acknowledge him, speaks ill of him this way and that, and with words that would condemn him, with words that deny him, opposes him, opposes those who helped him; does that person, that slanderer, from the one who helped him still hope to expect help? In this world, a likeness and shadow of the hereafter. Of course those who deny Allah, those who worship other than Allah, those who hope for help from Him, from Allah's creations, will surely meet with loss on the Day of Judgement.

Yes, as a true promise of Allah, the return of all of you is only to Him. By saying this: according to the verse every soul will taste death, surely all souls will die and finally our return will be to Allah. Because Allah, as the One who brings into being from nothing, is the Creator of all creatures.

A question like this comes to our minds.

If He created all creatures, what does He want from them? If He created them, He created them.

(?) What will He do with them, I mean? Something like this comes to our minds.

Allah Almighty, a hidden treasure, subsisting by His Essence. When He willed that His Essence be known, He created the Prophet from His light. Then He gives him from His spirit. From His spirit.

He wills the knowing of the Essence through man. Man, as the noblest of creatures, over the worlds of created beings, as the noblest of creatures, is created. Because He gave him from His spirit. In this case, all the other creatures He created He places at man's command. All creatures created on earth are at man's command. If you ask, Hodja, is there a verse about this: there is. Which verse? We have made you caliphs of the earth, He says. Caliph. Yes. So, if man is the caliph of the earth; no human has the power to (?) its cleaning, that is, to finish it; mankind has no power for this; so, to (?) and clean the earth, He created 17 thousand worlds; when one of these is missing, the balance is upset.

The world's balance is upset. Filth and diseases appear all around.

So, when Allah Almighty says the One who brings into being from nothing: O man, I created you so that My Essence be known, and as the noblest of creatures I made you the caliph of the earth. I placed all these creatures at your command, and so that (?) on earth I poured all this provision down upon you, He says. (?) In this case, even if it is what I created for you, since surely I will judge with the attribute of justice, He says.

Since He will judge with justice, given to our command on earth, or, as we are caliphs of the earth, all the living creatures created on earth, for the unjust torments they inflicted on one another, let's say. Some animals inflict some torments on other animals. From them; after they too take their due from one another, they will vanish. That is, His saying the return of all creatures to Him, bringing into being from nothing; for what does the verse say?

He creates the creatures beforehand from nothing. From nothing. So, for people, these creatures He created from nothing, to reward, He brings them back to His presence. To take everyone's due, so that they take their due from one another, with the attribute of justice Allah Almighty will gather all the creatures He created in His presence. All creatures other than man, after they take their due from one another, will vanish.

Because they are not spirit, nafs and life, they will vanish. That is, they will cease to exist. But of these, the first created are excepted; the first created, let's say Allah created an ox, the first created; these, those first created will enter Paradise, as pairs they will enter Paradise. If apart from these, all created creatures, that is, creatures of the animal kind, will cease to exist. As for man, since people are spirit, nafs and life, they will be separated from bodies; since there is no death for souls, to remain forever in Paradise and Hell, when in the presence of Allah Almighty they are gathered, with the actual deeds they did in the worldly realm, with the rewards and sins they gained, in our Lord's presence, by the Judge of judges, after being judged, they will be sent to the places they deserve.

Yes.

As a true promise of Allah, the return of all of you is only to Him. By saying this: according to the verse every soul will taste death, surely all souls will die and finally your return will be to Allah. Because Allah, as the One who brings into being from nothing, is the Creator of all creatures. That none of the created was created without reason, and that finally all of them are responsible to Allah, their one Owner; that all created things at the Supreme Court will be called to account; that between those who believe and those who don't He will judge with justice; that He will reward with justice those who believe and those who want good deeds; after this reward, for gifts from Himself, He brings them back to His presence. Yes.

For gifts from Himself, Allah Almighty brings people back from the worldly realm after they have tasted death. After the first death you will not taste death again, He says. Death. But Hodja, He will resurrect twice, they will die twice, won't they. How beautiful; if you understand the verses, the verses plunge people into an ocean. An ocean. The first death: the body; the body together with the nafs; our flesh, nafs, life and spirit together will taste the first death. In the realm of the hereafter: when you come into My presence with a driver, He says. The body separate; nafs, spirit and life as one will go with the body into Allah Almighty's presence.

After your bodies bear witness against our spirit, exactly the body will thus speak. You are being returned to the One who first created you, it will say, and there, a second time, the body will taste death. The body will not taste it; rather, the body will die. But since the spirit is not in the body, it will not taste death. He says, you know: when you come into the presence with a driver; the body and the spirit will face each other. In the worldly realm the body; the spirit has enveloped the body. Just as a spider's web covers a net, as it wraps it, so the spirit too wraps this body. As life departs, slowly, from the toes, the (?), upward it gathers. And as the spirit leaves the body, it tastes the body's death pain. The second time: when you come into My presence with a driver, in the realm of the hereafter, it is the body and spirit facing each other. The body there a second time death, the body there will taste death, that is, it will die, but the spirit will not taste this death. Because it is not inside the body.

For this reason, you will taste no death other than the first death, says Allah Almighty. And beautiful verses always support one another. Here too, through the miracles of Allah Almighty's verses, we understand that inevitably we have a Lord who created these worlds, and that, just as openly as with you and me, in an even stronger way, outwardly, through manifestations, He speaks with us; that is how we understand it. Flawlessly. Yes.

That of the created things, none was created without reason; that is, as I said a moment ago, He created these worlds in a way that would make one reflect. And that finally all are responsible to Allah, their one Owner; that all created things will be called to account at the Supreme Court; that between believers and non-believers Allah Almighty will judge with justice; that the believers and those who want good deeds will be rewarded with justice; that after this reward, with gifts from Himself, He will bring them back to His presence; and finally that at that Supreme Court, between them, fully, in its true sense, as the return of what everyone earned with his own two hands, completely with justice judgement will be given between them; how beautifully our Lord tells us in His verse.

Yes. As for those who disbelieve, they too, in the divine presence, are called to account with justice. With justice.

No injustice is done to anyone.

Because of what they used to deny, as the return of what they did: Hell, and there, whenever they thirst, a drink of boiling water, and at the same time what He calls a mixed water, as pus; mixed, into that hot water pus will be mixed; and with a painful punishment, eternally and endlessly they will be punished.

Endless, because since there is no death for souls, Paradise and Hell are eternal. Well Hodja, in one verse, if I don't misunderstand, you said this; what did you say? You said: after burning for many thousands of years, they will remain as logs of Hell. That is, you're saying they will no longer feel or taste. Well now, there that punishment will be cut off from them, that is, the punishment will be cut off; and here you say they'll suffer punishment forever, you say. Now, does this hold together? It does. Not as it truly is. Explain so we understand. Let me explain. The punishment will not be lightened for them.

With the removal of the nerve senses, they won't be rid of the punishment. As logs of Hell, that is, as logs of fire, burning and burning, their skins will fall off, and they'll become human again. It will fall off again, they'll become human again. And in this way, even if until (?) they don't feel this pain, don't feel the pain by Allah's attribute of mercy, they will not escape this agony.

Pain is one thing, agony another. Now don't confuse these here. Agony is painful too, but pain, in a certain state, is your hurting in response to a torment done to you. Agony: in a dream, the same way, you're burning in your dream, but when you wake up you say, oh, it was a dream. That becomes an agony for you. There is no pain in your body. So, Allah's mercifulness: when those nerve senses are removed, they in those agonies, as logs of Hell, burning and burning, will again return to their former state. They won't feel pain. That is, in their bodies. But they won't escape that agony. That painful agony.

That is, even if you feel no pain, at least: let me get out of here and (?), as I said, for example; so when they don't even have such a hope, what this hope, this hopelessness gives is also an agony.

Yes. Also, what does Allah Almighty say in His verse? There they neither die nor live.

What is living? I have a house, you have a car, I have a yacht, I have pleasure and fun, I have freedom, I go wherever I want, I have money. I'm living, I mean. I have no trouble. Are they living too, inside the fire? Nor do they die, He says. There's no death either. Living is like that too. In agony. Living here means attaining salvation, being at peace. People to whom gifts are given, within that gift, living in peace with the people around them. That is life. Ask some people in agonies: and this is life, he says. Is this living, he says. For a little trouble he'll suffer in the world, he says: is this living?

We're stuck in this agony, he says.

And Allah Almighty's: in the realm of the hereafter, there they neither live nor die. Yes. How beautifully the verses always support one another, do you see?

A person knows one verse and racks his brain over it accordingly and explains it; in other verses, tafsir (?); so tafsir too, they open it this way and they open it that way; in 6600 verses they always support one another; with this one verse one travels through all the Quran's verses, all the Quran's verses; it becomes clear anyway. Yes.
