Tafsir
O people of Ayka! He said, "I do not demand any remuneration from you in return for my telling you the truth, but I am only telling you the commandment of our Lord who created you and me and all these worlds.
It is only the Lord of the worlds who will give me my reward. For He is the one who provides for all creation and will call people to account for their deeds on the Day of Resurrection. Therefore, I do not ask you for any remuneration for this duty.
What is said in the video
In verse 180 of Surah Ash-Shu'ara, too: in return for this I ask no wage of you, he says. The only one who will pay my wage is the Lord of the worlds.
Now if I tell you things, and on the grounds that "this is my Hodja", let me put it so, I exploit your consciences and take money, what use is that? What good is it?
I deceive myself.
I would be committing shirk against Allah. Loving a being other than Allah is also shirk.
One poet says this: There can be no guest upon a guest. There can be no house upon a house. And in one heart there cannot be two loves. If you feel more love for the creations of Allah, the Owner of the worlds, than for Allah, this is shirk. This is called hidden shirk. Yes.
What does verse 180 say? In return for this I ask no wage of you. The only one who will pay my wage is the Lord of the worlds. O people of Aykah! In return for telling you the truth I ask you for no wage at all. I only tell you what the One who created you, me and all these worlds, your Lord, commands, he said.
My reward: the only one who will give my reward is the Lord of the worlds. For He is the one who provides for all creatures and who will call people to account for their deeds on the Day of Judgment. Therefore, for this duty of mine, I do not ask any wage from you either, he said.
