Translation

Allah will not let the mu’min stay in the situation that you are in; at the end, Allah will separate the clean from the unclean. With this, Allah will not reveal to you the unseen (ghayb). But Allah reveals to Allah’s Prophets as much as Allah desires. So, believe in Allah and Allah’s Messengers. For the abstaining mu’min there is a great reward.

Tafsir

Allah will not abandon the believers. As long as the believers are with Allah, Allah is with them. However, since in the world of property, those who know Allah and those who do not, those who obey Him and those who do not, live together, the believers should not worry about their situation, and as long as they are with Allah, Allah will be with them, (He will eventually separate the unclean from the clean.) That is, in the Hereafter, He will separate those who say Allah from the believers, those who rebel against Allah, those who eat what Allah has forbidden, and those who eat forbidden things.

(And Allah does not reveal the unseen to mankind), whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims, Allah does not reveal the unseen to them. He only reveals as much as He wishes to His messengers. And those who have been exposed to the hadiths of our Prophet (s.a.w.) in which he says, "The guardian of my ummah is like the prophet of the tribe of Israel", the awliya who are the successors of the prophets, and those who have been molded with the secret of the verse (verrasihun), with the knowledge of Allah, know as much as Allah (swt) reveals. This is Allah (swt) revealing the existence of His Essence and making His creation's servants know His Essence through these scholars, teaching them what they cannot understand, and informing them from the unseen as much as He wishes so that they may guide people.

So Allah (swt), in the face of such a clear and clear proof of His Essence, says to the people: "O mankind, believe in Allah and His Messenger!" (Then believe in Allah and His Messenger). Whoever believes in Allah and His Messenger and turns to Taqwa (piety), pays attention to what is lawful and unlawful, reforms their souls and rises to the rank of believers, and becomes pious believers, Allah will give them a great reward. Their rewards are great in the sight of Allah.

What is said in the video

Surah Al Imran, verse 179, is where we left off.

Allah will not leave the believers in the state you are in, it says. This is one of the verses that are explained wrongly. When we say it is one of the wrongly explained verses, that doesn't mean all of it is wrong. The mistakes are at the crucial point within it. That is, they change some parts. For example, Surah Al Imran, verse 179 – let us first read it from the Quran. I mean, let us read it from the books written earlier. Allah will not leave the believers in the state you are in. This part is right, it's written the same anyway. In the end He will separate the impure from the pure. This is also right: He will separate.

Nevertheless, Allah will not inform you of the unseen either. This is also right. Now the mistake begins. But Allah (?) whom He wills of His messengers. Whom does He will? What does this mean? (?) whom He wills of His messengers. What does '(?)' mean? I mean, can you say there is a meaning (?) here? But Allah (?) whom His messengers will. And after that: so believe in Allah and His prophets. If you believe and are God-fearing, there is a very great reward for you, it says. These parts are right. Whereas that part says: but Allah, to His prophets, as much as He wills makes known – to His prophets.

Isn't that so? Meaning – didn't He make meaning known to His prophets, each in different degrees? Doesn't it say that the prophets, too, are above one another? It does. So the meaning here is: but Allah, to His prophets, as much as He wills makes known. What does it say here? But Allah (?) whom He wills of His messengers. No. Wrong. Now if the verse comes in this form, it completes the meaning. What does it say? He will not inform you of the unseen either. But Allah makes known to His prophets as much as He wills. So believe in Allah and His prophets, believe. God-fearing (?), there is a very great reward.

God-fearing (?). Yes.

Here there is an explanation like this. I mean, some commentators say this:

The disbelievers, to the Prophet (peace be upon him): 'Tell us who believes and who does not believe,' they said. Upon this, Allah Almighty sent down this verse, they say.

This is a narration. A narration. It may be right, it may be wrong, but the meaning – now we will open up the meaning. Allah Almighty will not abandon the believers.

The believers: people who are friends of Allah, people who have come to know the manifestations. People who do not step outside the word of Allah Almighty.

If we think about it, if we look at the verses, what does Allah Almighty say? When Our command of destruction for a town goes out, those there who worship, who show loyalty to their prophet, who believe in Allah – We first bring them out of that town, it says. Just as Salih brought out those who followed him. And just as, among the people of Lot, those who followed him, with his wife, (?), were brought out. What does He do? Allah Almighty in this way, of the believers, those who believe in Allah, from those disasters saves. So in this case Allah Almighty never abandons the believers. Allah draws nearer to the one who says 'Allah'.

'Whoever remembers Me, I remember him in a good assembly,' He says. 'Whoever draws near to Me, I draw even nearer to him,' He says. Yes, Allah Almighty will not abandon the believers. As long as the believers are with Allah, Allah is with them. However, since in the material world those who know Allah and those who don't, those who obey Him and those who don't, live together – so that the believers do not worry about their situation, and that as long as they are with Allah, Allah is with them – He explains this with the verse, explains it. What does it say? In the end He will separate the impure from the pure, it says.

He will separate the impure from the pure. I mean, the one who knows and the one who doesn't, the one who worships Allah and the one who doesn't – are they ever the same? As long as these are not separated from each other... I mean, did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are – according to the verse? With the acts of worship they performed in their lifetime, these will either attain the mercy of Allah Almighty or incur His wrath, and pass on to the hereafter. In this case Allah Almighty will make those people bear witness to what kind of people they are – to themselves, to those around and to Allah.

So the impure will be separated from the pure, and the pure from the impure.

I mean, in the hereafter, those who say 'Allah', the believers, and those who rebel against Allah, eat what Allah has forbidden and are kneaded with the unlawful – He will separate them from one another, it says. Where? In the hereafter. Here they will live among one another. The believer, the hypocrite, the disbeliever, the idolater, that is, the polytheist too – all will live together. Yes, believer, Muslim, disbeliever, hypocrite, polytheist – all these hold separate degrees.

What is a believer? A Muslim, one of the people of faith. The others – ideology – have become victims of their own ideologies, these people. In this respect they are disbelievers, without faith. Nevertheless, Allah will not inform people of the unseen either. For Allah Almighty never makes His verses contradict one another. He does not make His verses contradict each other. That is, they do not go against one another. What does Allah Almighty say? The keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand. So only Allah knows the unseen. But they know as much as He makes known. As much as He makes known. If He makes it known to His wali, it is a karamah; if to His prophets, He makes miracles happen.

In this case, Allah Almighty, His existence, through His wali servants or through His prophets, His religion, that is, the religion of Islam, until the Day of Judgment will keep going like this.

Whether Muslim or non-Muslim, Allah Almighty will not make the unseen known to them. Only to His prophets does He make known as much as He wills. That is exactly what is in the verse. But Allah makes known to His prophets as much as He wills. That is the verse. What does it say there? 'But Allah (?) whom He wills of His messengers,' it says. There is no meaning here. Yes, and also those blessed with the Prophet's hadith, 'The wali of my ummah is like a prophet of the Children of Israel', who found that degree and became heirs of the Prophet, the awliya, and, by the secret of the verse that speaks of the 'rasikhun', people kneaded with Allah's knowledge – as much as Allah Almighty makes known, they make known.

As I said earlier, the walis, the awliya, as much as Allah Almighty makes known, make known. And this is so that Allah Almighty the existence of His essence, and to the servants He created, through these scholars, His essence makes known, teaches them what they could not understand, and (?) people. Why would He do this? Just as He shows miracles to the prophets, and through these miracles those people grasp that, yes, he is a prophet, so too by having karamahs shown to the walis, to the walis. That they too are raised by Allah, and that in this way Allah Almighty, as a support for those who speak the truth, who explain the verse, certain states He makes known to those wali servants, and along with that certain karamahs appear – this is for the continuation of Allah's religion until the Day of Judgment.

Because what will those people become? Some people whose hearts will be at rest. They will continue in Islam, or those who are to become Muslim will become Muslim. So, in the face of His essence being proven so openly and so certainly, Allah Almighty addresses people: O people!

So believe in Allah and His Prophet, He commands. Believe in Allah and His Prophet. Whoever believes in Allah and His Messenger and turns to taqwa – and taqwa is avoiding doubtful things, taking great care over halal and haram –

if they take care over halal and haram, if they raise their nafs to the degree of (?) believers, if they become God-fearing believers, Allah will grant them a very great reward. A very great reward. That is, roughly close to the rank of the righteous. The rank of the righteous. Their rewards are very great in Allah's sight. We cannot know what He will give. Our Lord's bounty to them in the hereafter. He will even bestow such favors on the believers, Allah Almighty, that those believers will say, 'O Lord, I did not do such a good deed. What are these?' they will say. 'I did not do such a good deed.' And Allah Almighty will say, 'In return for your patience, in return for your turning to taqwa, in return for these things you held to, this is My gift to you.' Allah Almighty will give more.

Yes. As long as a person knows Allah and says 'Allah'. Why did Allah Almighty create people anyway? He created them so that His essence be known. So that His essence be known. So if a person knows Allah and says 'Allah' once, lying under the earth for a thousand years is (?).
