“You are only a man like us. Know that, we see you as one of the liars.”

Tafsir

When Hadrat Shu'ayb (peace be upon him) tried to warn the people of Ayka with warnings, the people of Ayka spoke like the speech of the destroyed people and said, "You are only a human being like us. They said, 'Know that we consider you to be one of the liars.

Surely, if Allah sends a Prophet to a people, He will send him from his own kind. Because Allah values human beings very much, He has not separated human beings from their own forms. Therefore, since there is no creature more honorable than man, He will surely send a Prophet to man from his own kind. But people did not want to understand these things, so they said, 'We count you among the liars.

What is said in the video

Verse 186 of Surah Ash-Shu'ara: You too are only a human like us. Know that we consider you only one of the liars, they say. They always say that to the prophets. What do they say? You too are a human like me. That is, an angel should come from the sky, this and that. You know, he would vanish and (?) and so on. Yet Allah Almighty says: whatever you wish, We send you a prophet of your own kind. That is, if I am human, He will send a human prophet. If it is a devil, a jinn, He will send one from the jinn. Their great ones, too — we won't say prophet. Their great one, too, was Satan. Then he was cursed.

Well, the angels have great ones. Four great angels. Who are they? Gabriel, Michael, Israfil, Azrael. Well, every being will have a prophet suited to itself. And what do these say? Surely you too walk around the market like us, you too eat and drink like us, how are you a prophet? Yes. Isn't that so? Well, Allah Almighty sent us to a hidden world. That is, He sent us to a world where He is not seen.

As whom will He send us a prophet?

Who will He send? Will He send an angel? Suppose an angel had come, you, believing in that angel's miracles, (?), would incline toward it. And Allah Almighty, in the address "Alastu bi-rabbikum", by appearing like us, by appearing in human form, said to us: I am your Lord — then people did not recognize our Lord, who created them, as Lord. They recognized the Lord of their imagination. They tried to recognize us. There is no such Lord for them to recognize. What does Allah Almighty say? (?) from the sky, He says, (?) with angels (?), He says. So, so that man can bring out his own (?), live out well the covenant he himself gave, his destiny, and, by his own actual deeds, the reward and sin he will earn, within his own will, carry out — Allah Almighty, with our free thought, with your free will, has left us free. Come on now, bring it on.

He says: I am a prophet. If he is a prophet, he is a prophet. Look how beautifully he advises you. Well, they say these are the fables of the ancients. When they say fables of the ancients — those were destroyed. Why don't you mention that destruction? Exactly. They were the fables of the ancients. Many of those fables were destroyed. What happened? So whatever each person's destiny is, he will live that destiny and utter those words. Now what does it say here? You too are only a human like us. Know that we consider you only one of the liars. Although Shu'ayb (peace be upon him) wanted to warn the people of Aykah, the people of Aykah, too, like the talk of destroyed peoples, like the talk of destroyed peoples, spoke and said: You too are only a human like us. Know that we consider you only one of the liars.

So they said. Surely if Allah sends a prophet to a people, He will send him from their own kind. From their own kind. That's what the verse says. Whatever you are, We send a prophet of your own kind. Because Allah values man greatly, He has not kept man apart from His own forms. He gave man of the forms of His essence. All forms belong to Allah Almighty. Therefore, since there is no created being more honorable than man, surely man a prophet of his own kind — Allah Almighty will send a prophet of his own kind. However, since people did not want to understand these matters, they said: We consider you one of the liars.

Yes.
