Isn’t it proof for them that the scholars of the sons of Israel know it?

Tafsir

The people of the tribe of Beni Israel valued their scholars very highly and would not deviate from their words. The scholars of the tribe of Israel used to tell their people about the coming of the last Prophet and describe his description. When such a Prophet emerged from among the Arabs, from the tribe of Quraysh, from the Children of Hashim, the tribe of Israel tried to deny the Prophet out of jealousy and envy.

Allah (swt) reminds the people of Israel of the Book in their possession and says, "Is it not a proof for them that their scholars know it?" This is a proof to this people and to the whole human world, which is illiterate or unaware of the coming of a Prophet, that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the Qur'an that came to him are true.

What is said in the video

Yes, at 197. Is it not a proof for them that the scholars of the Children of Israel know him, it says. Know whom? That the Prophet (peace be upon him) would come, in their own Torah books, was written. Their scholars would describe that a last prophet would come, and even his appearance.

In this case Allah Almighty, the Prophet (peace be upon him), 400 years after Jesus, sent. In fact the people of the Children of Israel: Have we reached the end of the world? Will Allah Almighty not send a prophet? they would say. When Muhammad graced the world, when from among the Arab people he emerged, they grew envious and denied the prophet. Thus Allah Almighty: Is it not a proof for them that the scholars of the Children of Israel know him? He says. How beautifully He says it. The people of the Children of Israel valued their scholars greatly and would not go beyond their words. The scholars of the Children of Israel, for their part, would tell their people that a last prophet would come and describe his appearance.

When such a prophet emerged from among the Arabs, from the tribe of Quraysh, from the sons of Hashim, the people of the Children of Israel, out of jealousy and envy, set about denying the prophet. So Allah Almighty, of this situation, to the people of the Children of Israel, reminding them of the book in their hands: that their scholars know him, is that not a proof for them? His saying this: that Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the Holy Quran that came to him are true, to this people and also to those who cannot read or write, or to the whole world of humanity unaware that a prophet would come, as a proof, Allah Almighty, with His word, has shown. Yes.
