Translation

If We had sent it down to one among those who don’t know Arabic.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) continues to prove to those who deny the Prophet (pbuh) and the Qur'an that the Prophet and the Qur'an are true. If this Qur'an had descended to a person who did not speak Arabic, as a proof against those who say that the Prophet (PBUH) invented the Qur'an because he was an Arab and knew Arabic, and as a proof against those who say that he invented the Qur'an, if We had sent it down to one of those who did not know Arabic, the following verse says.

What is said in the video

Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 198: Had We sent it down to one of those who do not know Arabic.

Had We sent it down to someone who does not know Arabic. Allah Almighty, to those who deny the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the Quran, continues to prove that the Prophet and the Quran are the truth. His saying: if this Quran had been sent down to a person who does not know Arabic. Against those who say that the Prophet (peace be upon him), because he was an Arab and knew Arabic, made up the Quran himself, He says as a proof: Had We sent it down to one of those who do not know Arabic, and in the verse that follows He has said this: Had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it either.

He says. Yes.

He does not know Arabic, yet he recites them to them. They would not have believed in it either, He says. The same as in my case: I know no Arabic at all, but the translations of the verses I know very well. Leave aside faith, they do not want to understand this either. Well, they may not believe in that prophet, but with me, God forbid, the question of believing or not believing arises. Well, even though I explain the verses plainly to their faces, they do not believe. They still judge by (?).
