Translation

Thus, even if they see the pitiful punishment, they will not believe in it.

Tafsir

People will not believe in Allah, the Prophet and the Qur'an even if they see the painful torment. It is only when (izabelahatul hulkum) life is at their throats, when the doors of repentance are closed, when the realms of the Hereafter are brought closer to them and shown to them, when they are in the state of death, that they will wake up and understand the truth.

Those who have justified their souls until that time, who realize that they are being brought closer to torment at the moment of death, even if they do not believe in their hearts, even if they do not believe, they appear to believe so that they will not go to torment. Allah (swt) does not accept such repentance because Allah (swt) knows their nature and has written their fate. Therefore, these people will be subjected to eternal torment.

What is said in the video

Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 201, this too is a verse that has been interpreted wrongly; let's read it and see what it says here.

"Therefore they will not believe in it, the Quran, until they see the painful punishment."

What do you understand from this? "Therefore," it says. Until they see the painful punishment, in it, that is, in the Quran, they will not believe. So doesn't it mean that when they see the painful punishment they say, "O Allah, we have understood that You are the truth, we have believed"?

(?) to Hell, in eternal Hell. In fact, in Surah As-Sajdah, verse 12 as well, when they say, "We came, we saw; is there no return to the world, so we may worship You," and He says, "Were We to send you back not once but several times more, you would do the same again," when He says, "They are blind here too," that is, although I made My Self known in the world, and although they see Me here too, they still await the Lord in their own minds and, thinking they will deceive Me with their tongues, say, "O Lord, we have obeyed You"; what do they say in Hell? To Malik too: "Tell your Lord to lighten the punishment on us a little."

Whereas: therefore, even if they see the painful punishment, in it, the Quran, they will not believe. Look at the meaning, the same meaning with one word changed. What does it say here? Look. Here: therefore, until they see even a little of the punishment, they will not believe in it, the Quran. So then all non-Muslims, on seeing even a little of the punishment, will believe. Hell will cease to exist. Doesn't it mean that? Whereas: therefore, even if they see a little of the punishment, they will not believe in it, the Quran. Why? Because, since they do not recognise that the Quran comes from Allah, nor Him as God, as the Creator, them, Allah, they await the Lord of their own imagination.

When they see that painful punishment, their grudge against Allah Almighty grows; they await the Lord of their imagination; he will come and save them, and on the One who created them, other than the worlds, other than the Creator of these worlds there is no god, on Allah Almighty, they will take revenge. They will take revenge. With these feelings, the more they burn, the more they writhe; the more they writhe, the more they burn. Since the character is the same, he cannot get out of his own world. In that case he becomes one destined for eternal Hell. Now I suppose you understand the meaning of the verses.

How wrongly they have interpreted them! How they have instilled (?) in people with these verses. They have instilled (?).

People, until they see a little of the punishment, in Allah, the Prophet and the Quran will not believe. These, only at "illâ beleğati'l- hulkûm", when the soul reaches the throat, when the doors of repentance close, when the worlds of the Hereafter are brought near and shown to them, they will awaken while dying and will understand the truth. Those who until then sided with their nafs, at this moment of death, when they are brought near the punishment, those who understand, even though they do not have faith in their hearts or believe, so that they do not go to the punishment, they show themselves as having believed. That is, the sign of hypocrisy.

Since Allah Almighty knows their natures and wrote their destinies Himself, such a repentance Allah Almighty does not accept. Therefore these people remain subject to eternal punishment. Because Allah Almighty knows that they are deniers. How does He know? They said yes. Whereas the disbelievers did not say yes. He awaited the Lord of his own imagination. So, since Allah Almighty knows that they are deniers, when they deny and say, "We do not recognise You, Lord," so that no one says, "Was there perhaps, besides Allah Almighty, another god, that they spoke like this?", their being lia- lying disbelievers, as He calls them, of these, that is, of those disbelievers, the feeling in their hearts is what Allah Almighty states.

What does he say? "Yes, I was created, but I do not recognise You." If I do not recognise You, but there is no creator other than You, so you are pretending not to know Me. What is this? And what do You say? "They too said yes because they knew they were created," He says. They said yes. That is what "yes" means here.
