Then they say, “will we be given time? (to have faith)”

Tafsir

The disbelievers who feel the torment in the back of their necks will ask Allah (swt) for a respite to believe, and they will want to return to the worldly life. But the life of this world is only once. No creature will be brought back to this world after death. The only exception among the creatures is the Prophet (s.a.w.). Because Allah has made the Prophet alive. He is alive. Therefore, when all souls taste death, when they pass on to the Hereafter, they cannot return to the world.

Therefore, when the disbelievers, the polytheists, those who have passed on to the Hereafter with any ideology other than Islam, when they see the punishment, they look for a way to come back to the world. But no soul can ever come back to this world, even if it is a Muslim. Allah (swt) says about those who disbelieve in Allah (swt) that if We send them back to this world not once but several times, they will still commit the same deeds. We have explained in previous lessons why people would commit the same deeds if they were given the opportunity to come back to this world. We are not repeating some of what we have written here, believing that those who are curious will comprehend these situations much better if they read the Book from the beginning, that is, from the first volume.

What is said in the video

Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse two hundred and three. Then "Will we be given respite to believe?" they will say. Now, the verses always confirm one another, you see. What does it say? Then, "Will we be given respite to believe?" they will say. When that death comes. Look how beautifully it says it there too.

Now, why am I going to open this up for you?

To show the thing, to show that the verses confirm one another. What did we say? It confirms Surah As-Sajdah, verse 12. What does it say? "If only you could see when those sinners, hanging their heads before their Lord, say: Our Lord, we have seen, we have heard. Now send us back to the world and let us do good deeds. Now we truly believe," it says. And what does it say here? Then, "Will we be given respite to believe?" they will say, it says. Yes. So the disbelievers who feel the punishment at their necks will ask Allah Almighty for respite to believe, wanting to return to worldly life again. But living the worldly realm happens only once.

No created being will be returned to the world again after dying. Among the created beings, only the Prophet (peace be upon him) is the exception.

He will be returned.

What does this prove?

Guess. Surah Al-Fath, verse 2. No. It proves Hazrat Mahdi. "He brings you to life twice and causes you to die twice," it says. Right. Surah Al-Fath will come after that, from there. Yes. Because Allah Almighty has made the Prophet (peace be upon him) alive. He is alive. For this reason, when all souls taste death, upon passing to the hereafter they never return to the worldly realm again. We did this much here. I suppose we did not talk about Hazrat Mahdi here. Let us open this up. He will enter the same body a second time. The same body. He will appear as Hazrat Mahdi. And Jesus will come to him as a member of his ummah.

In the same way, he will taste death a second time. What does this show us? According to the verse "We bring you to life twice and cause you to die twice." In the realm of the hereafter all souls will be brought to life again. That is, our bodies will be brought to life. According to the verse "When you come before Me with a driver," Allah Almighty will call our bodies as witnesses against our souls, and our soul will say to our body, why are you testifying against me, and our body will say, Allah, who makes us speak, makes me speak, and after the testimony is over our body will say this to our soul: "You are being returned to the One who first created," and there it will taste death a second time.

Well, if the Prophet too tastes death twice there in the world, won't he taste death a third time there? Allah Almighty will not bring his body to life there. Why will He not bring it to life? "Your past and future sins have also been forgiven," it says. (?) since past and future sins are forgiven, Allah Almighty will not bring his body to life and hold it as witness against his own self — He does not. In this case, he dies having died once in the world. So he will enter the same body a second time, he too will taste death a second time, he too will have tasted death a second time. Verses this explicit.

But those who do not understand this say Ahmet is the Mahdi, Mehmet is the Mahdi. Let alone, I would say non-Muslim, I would say hypocrite, they declare FETÖ to be the Mahdi. Had he been Muslim anyway, had he not been astray, he would not have declared himself the Mahdi. This is the sign of this misguidance. Yes.

Having explained this part this much, we return to the verse. Then "Will we be given respite to believe?" they will say.

So the disbelievers who feel the punishment at their necks will ask Allah Almighty for respite to believe, wanting to return to worldly life again. But living the worldly realm happens only once. No created being will return to the world again after dying. Among the created beings, only the Prophet (peace be upon him) is the exception. So we have explained this part to you (?). We explained this sentence. Because Allah has made the Prophet (peace be upon him) alive. He is alive. For this reason, when all souls taste death, upon passing to the hereafter they never return to the worldly realm again.

Only the Prophet, only he will enter that body of his. We closed this part and moved on. For this reason, disbelievers, polytheists, those who pass to the hereafter holding any ideology other than Islam. Now what am I saying here? Disbelievers, polytheists. Hodja, aren't you using the same word in the same way? No. In fact, those who use the same word in the same way as each other say that in the Quran this verse was abrogated by that verse. (?) Allah Almighty says, do not marry polytheists, but He says marry the People of the Book. Oh look, they say, here it says this, he did not marry, but later, sir, he married, they say. This verse was abrogated by that verse, they say; that poor person does not know that a polytheist is an idolater, a disbeliever is of the People of the Book. Marrying the People of the Book is allowed, marrying polytheists is not.

Not until they become Muslim. Because Allah Almighty says, they call you to the fire. And Allah, He says, calls you to guidance. Yes.

Those who do not understand the verse (?) Allah. Although Allah Almighty, regarding Habib-i Kibriya, (?), Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him), revealed the verse "he does not speak (?)," He Himself speaks (?). Does He abrogate that verse with that verse? Well, since Allah does not intend injustice for His servants, in this verse those who equate polytheist and disbeliever, when it says polytheists are not to be married, the people there, someone loved one of the polytheists, either a girl or a man. Because Allah Almighty said so, he did not marry. Do these people not suffer injustice? Would Allah not be ascribed attributes?

Would he not say, why did You permit him but not permit me? He would. So can't this poor person even think this far?

He fits Allah into his mind and accuses Him of injustice. Yes. There is no abrogation in the Quran, gentlemen. But those poor people who do not understand the verses of the Quran, while translating the verses of the Quran, have ascribed attributes to Allah Almighty.

Yes. For this reason, look carefully at this part. Disbelievers, polytheists, those who pass to the hereafter holding any ideology other than Islam, when they see the punishment, look for a way to come to the world. But no soul, even if Muslim, comes back to the world again. In fact, Allah Almighty says about those who deny Allah: even if We sent them back to the world not once but several more times, they would do the same things again. The reason: the same character will do the same thing. At the same time, the same events will occur. Because their desires and wishes are written for them as destiny; when the time of those destinies comes, those characters too will desire and wish and do the same thing.

It does not change.

Why, if people were given the chance to come to the world again, these people would do the same things, we told in past lessons. I see no benefit in retelling it here. Believing that those who are curious, if they read from the beginning of the book, that is, from the first volume, will grasp these matters much better, we do not repeat here some of what we wrote. We said, we encourage them to read those there. Yes.

If we told it again in this sentence at great length. Elestir bir Rabb'i, from whom will you start? You will start from the covenant of mankind. Pages and pages, always the same things. Yes.
