Translation
And then if that which they have been threatened with (punishment) comes upon them.
Tafsir
And those who disbelieve in Allah and boast in their wealth and believe that there is no resurrection after death, if the torment which they desire should come upon them, neither their wealth nor their children nor their children will benefit them.
Allah's blessings will not be of any benefit to them in the Hereafter. Because all their good deeds have been in vain. They will also be held to account for the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon them. For those who disbelieve in Allah have not seen the Giver of these blessings, but have taken advantage of Allah's creatures, have eaten and drunk from them, and have taken partners with Allah, thinking that these blessings given to them are from Allah's creatures.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 206 of Surah Ash-Shu'ara. "Then if the punishment they were threatened with came upon them," it says. Allah Almighty — if the threatened punishment, that is, the punishment they asked for, came upon them, this time they would blame Allah. What did we do that You gave us this, they say. Did we deserve what has befallen us, they say. They rebel against Allah even more. Those who deny Allah, boast of their wealth and believe there is no resurrection after death — if the punishment those people asked for suddenly struck them, neither their wealth nor their children and nephews could be of any benefit to them.
Because wealth is Allah's, and dominion is Allah's. Yes.
The blessings Allah gave will be of no benefit against the punishment they will suffer in the realm of the hereafter. Because all the good deeds they did have gone to waste. Moreover, they will be called to account for the blessings Allah gave these people. We too will be called to account. Did your neighbor go to bed hungry while you went to bed full? This blessing I gave you, sir, did you use it in My way? Did you do good works? Did you reach out your hand to someone in need? Did you help? In this money given to us there are also their rights. We will give those. Yes.
Moreover, they will be called to account for the blessings Allah gave these people. Because those who deny Allah did not see the One who gave these blessings; they benefited from what Allah created, ate and drank, and moreover, knowing that these blessings given to them were among what Allah created, they associated partners with Allah. He knows himself, too. Allah gave this, but not Allah who created us; rather he awaited the Lord of his imagination. That one gave it to him. Just like they sacrifice to their idols, just like they worship them. Yes.
