The provisions that they used won’t benefit them.
Tafsir
Those who have enjoyed the blessings of Allah (swt) in a long life and have acquired wealth and property, when they pass on to the Hereafter, if they have disbelieved in Allah (swt) and the Hereafter, their wealth will not benefit them, and they will be held to account for the blessings they have been given.
However, a person's wealth and property will benefit him if he has embraced Islam, believes in Allah and the Hereafter, and helps the poor, the needy, the stranded, the orphan, those who strive in the way of Allah, and the mosques of Allah out of his wealth and earnings.
Those who go to the Hereafter as kuffar, who deny Allah and the Hereafter, even if they do good deeds, all their good deeds and good deeds will be in vain. Their good deeds will be scattered in a threshing floor, just as the threshing floor is scattered by a storm and the threshing floor is taken away by a storm, so will their good deeds be scattered. The sins of those who disbelieve in Allah and associate partners with Allah will be nothing compared to their good deeds. Their good deeds will not atone for their sins.
What is said in the video
To verse 207 of Surah Ash-Shu'ara we have come.
"The blessings they were made to enjoy will be of no benefit to them at all."
Do these blessings benefit us? They do. This blessing both leads us to kufr and brings us to mercy. The blessing is what Allah gives. What does it say in the verse? Those who buy paradise with their lives or their wealth. So those who give the blessing, this blessing He has given, as charity in the way of Allah. Those who help the poor and the needy. Those who take the hand of those in need. What happened with these? The blessing was of benefit. But those who usurp the rights of this one and that one, who, when they see someone in need, use him for their own interest, who step on the helpless and crush them right into the ground, what happened? That blessing brought him harm.
Those who, over a long life, benefited from Allah Almighty's blessings and became owners of wealth and property, when they pass to the hereafter, if they went denying Allah and the hereafter — to these people not only will their wealth be of no benefit, they will also be called to account for the blessings given. But a person's wealth and property, having been honored with Islam, having believed in Allah and the hereafter, the charity they give for Allah from their wealth and earnings — to the poor and needy, to those in need, to stranded travelers, to the orphan, to the one who strives in the way of Allah, to Allah's gatherings — when they help, their wealth will be of benefit to them.
How will it benefit?
My Allah, during my lifetime I worked, in this body You gave me, there. I spent my life earning this money. A certain portion of it. And part of this life of mine, from the money I earned, I granted to You. I gave it to You. How beautiful. He gives away his life there, you see, to get that money. What happens? He gives that life back to Allah for Allah's sake. From the money he earned. This is a very important point. Yes.
Those who go to the realm of the hereafter as disbelievers, denying Allah and the hereafter — even if they did good works, all the good works they did will go to waste. Their good deeds — like a storm on a threshing floor taking away the threshed grain being scattered — their good deeds too will be scattered like that. Because the sins of those who deny Allah and associate partners with Allah, against all the good deeds they did, will remain nothing beside this sin. Their good deeds will not be an atonement for their sins. Yes.
