Trust and depend on Azeez (Exalted) and Raheem (the One Who very generously accepts repentance).

Tafsir

Allah (swt) addressed the Prophet (s.a.w.): O Prophet! If they ostracize you and do not believe, if they disbelieve in you, do not pay attention to them. Your Lord is the absolute victor and the owner of immense mercy. You rely on Him and put your trust in Him. Allah (swt) is also addressing the scholars of Islam with this verse.

Allah (feintawwalv fegul hasbiyallahu La ilaha illahu alayhi tawakkeltu vehuve Rab'bul arshil azim) (If they turn away, say! Allah is sufficient for me, there is no god but Him. I rely on Him alone. He is the owner of the exalted Throne).

So in this mortal realm, one cannot compromise on Allah's religion for a few pennies of benefit or a little position and a little authority. Every soul is mortal, only Allah is eternal. So if a person trusts and relies on Allah, that person will never fall on his back. Because this person is with the One who is the absolute victor and the One who has great mercy.

What is said in the video

'We left off at Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 217,' he says.

In the verse Allah Almighty says: 'Put your trust in the Absolutely Prevailing, the Possessor of boundless mercy, and rely on Him.' To whom does He say it? Allah Almighty, through the Prophet (peace be upon him), says this to all the worlds, to people. But what is He addressing to the Prophet (peace be upon him) alone? If he came as a mercy to the worlds, if He sent the Holy Quran to the Prophet and through the Prophet sent it to the worlds, His speaking to the Prophet is His speaking to the worlds. Beautiful, isn't it? Yes.

'You ... the Absolutely Prevailing' — who is the Absolutely Prevailing? Allah. Because He created everything there is, from the atom to the globe. All created things are Allah's. He did not create a single atom over which His rule does not prevail. And the Possessor of boundless mercy. Boundless. That is, His mercy has no end.

For example, the idolaters, in the Prophet's time, those who worshipped idols, when they repented and became Muslim, honored with Islam, they receive the faith of the Companions. For example, Wahshi, who killed Hamza, after becoming Muslim, wept all his life. The tears flowing from his eyes made a wound here, it's said. He receives the faith of the Companions. A Companion. Yes. If this isn't being the Possessor of boundless mercy, what is it? Allah Almighty does not intend injustice to His creatures. According to His verse, our Lord does not withhold His mercy from people. As long as a person knows his Lord.

Let him say Allah, like that. Allah. But today we look at people: neither Allah is on their mind, nor His Messenger, nor the Book.

Walk around the bazaar: all in their selfish desires, in their pride and arrogance; when it comes to eating and drinking they lead the way, but the One who gives that provision they never see. Morals are getting worse and worse. We're moving further and further from religion. We eat. We don't give thanks for it. We get up from the meal without saying an elhamdülillah. Yes.

In this case, although a person lives through an age of ignorance, then guidance comes to him.

The person returns to prayer. Covers her head. When he turns to Allah, Allah Almighty takes his load of rewards and his load of sins too, and into rewards transforms them.

How does this work? Look how it works. Now I'll tell a hadith. 'When, for the sins you have committed, you repent with a sincere heart, on condition of never doing them again, even if your sins had reached the clouds, Allah Almighty would turn them into good deeds.' How beautiful. Don't misunderstand this hadith. Don't misunderstand my words either. Don't get carried away by the fancy that a person will sin and sin, then turn back, and 'Oh, my sins will be moved to rewards too.' Now the one who sins should think like this. 'I wonder — falling for Satan's trick of "I'll pray later on," being fooled: "I'll pray later, aren't you still young?"' —

entering hidden shirk — these are hidden shirk — how long you will live, instead of Allah Almighty, you yourself (?) — do you hold a deed that you'll have that long a life, that you talk like this? Or, even if you truly reach that time, will repentance then be granted to you? What is this? You lived through an age of ignorance; there is faith in your heart, but out of habit to the environment you were in, you could not leave that environment. But you feel regret for everything you do. Yet you can't leave that sin you commit either. In the end, something you did became a humiliation to you, and you repented and said: I won't do this anymore.

And I returned to my Lord. My Lord, I will never do this again. I repented of the sins I committed with a sincere heart. Then those sins too (?). It is loaded. Allah is the Possessor of boundless mercy. This is where 'Possessor of boundless mercy' comes in. He also knows you won't go back again.

Otherwise it's like Pharaoh: saying 'I believe in the Lord of Moses,' He removes the swarm of locusts. Again he plays his own tune. Again, 'I believe in the Lord of Moses,' he says. He removes the blood. Moses. Again Pharaoh returns to his own ways. Whatever he said, he returns to his own ways. In the end — you know, the seven miracles. They also say nine, you know. In the end, when drowning in the Red Sea he says 'I believe in the Lord of Moses,' He says: 'Now you believe? I will display your lifeless body to the worlds,' He says. And they find him. He is displayed in England, at the Medina Museum.

Now, the verses are the proof of Allah Almighty's existence through His miracles.

'I will have Pharaoh displayed,' He says. He has him found in the Red Sea. Has him taken (?). Allah's existence. 'We let the two seas meet,' He says. 'Between them is a barrier; they do not mix.' Fresh water and salt water. In two places. Truly, one is fresh, one is salty. They don't mix with each other. So how else should Allah, who created the worlds, prove His existence?

Does He prove it only by this? Why, this world we sit on turns in the void. Does it have a pillar? No.

Without the sun there would be no life.

Without oxygen there would be no life. A little further from the sun, the world would freeze. A little closer to the sun, the world would heat up, explode, burn. Everything is adjusted just as it is. The seas cover three quarters of the world, or two thirds. One third is land. Why did He make it so? A car has a thermostat. In the radiator. When the car heats up, when the water heats up, the thermostat opens. The water circulates. When the engine cools, the thermostat closes. It warms the water. So in the world, the seas of this world likewise do the job of a thermostat. One third land, two thirds sea; land heats quickly and cools quickly, seas heat slowly and cool slowly.

At night, as the land climate cools, the seas, as a thermostat, reflecting the daytime heat to the lands at night, prevent the air from suddenly going to minus or plus. Allah created everything with knowledge; He makes His existence appear to people at every glance. Yes.

'He is manifest,' it says, 'in the manifestations; only to unseeing eyes is He (?).' Yes, that's why: in the Absolutely Prevailing, the Possessor of boundless mercy, trust and on Him rely. We have nothing to rely on but Allah; neither my mother nor my father nor my wealth nor my children nor my own life can I rely on. I cannot know when and where I will die.

My mother and father are the crown on my head.

But I can't expect help from them.

What does Allah Almighty say in the verse? 'After coming to the House of Allah, circling it, and praying two rak'ahs at the Station of Abraham, no longer boast, as you boasted of your mother and father in the age of ignorance,' He says. How beautifully He says it. What does this mean? 'My mother is a saint. My father flies by tayy-i mekan.' Your mother's a saint, your father does tayy-i mekan — but what are you? You neither pray, nor fast, nor give zakat. Will your mother and father save you? Then what did you do? 'Thinking my mother and father would save me — well, I was mistaken, I've returned to my Lord,' I said, and went to the House of Allah.

'Now,' He says, 'if you've come here, don't boast of your mother and father again; with Me,' He says, 'boast (?). Take refuge in your Lord,' He says, 'in your Lord.' Yes. The One who will save us is Allah, if we rely on Him, if we trust in Him. So: 'Trust in the Absolutely Prevailing, the Possessor of boundless mercy, and rely on Him,' it says.

Allah Almighty, addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him): 'O Prophet, if they (?) you and do not believe, if they deny you, pay them no mind. Your Lord is the Absolutely Prevailing, the Possessor of boundless mercy. Rely on Him and trust in Him,' He commands. Likewise, with this verse Allah Almighty also addresses Islamic scholars. Allah Almighty, in His

verse: 'If they turn away, say: Allah is enough for me. There is no god but Him. The Absolutely Prevailing who holds the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth is Allah. Yes. I trust and rely only on Him. He is the Lord of the mighty Throne,' He commands.

So in this transient world a person, for a few pennies of gain or a little status and a little rank, cannot compromise Allah's religion. Every soul is mortal. Only Allah is everlasting. Hüve'l-evvelü ve'l-âhiru ve'z-zâhiru ve'l-bâtın. He is the First and the Last, the Outward and the Inward. So if a person trusts and relies on Allah, this person's back never touches the ground. Because this person is (?) with the Absolutely Prevailing, the Possessor of boundless mercy. Yes.
