Translation

And verily, they say things that they are not capable of doing.

Tafsir

Poets live their lives thinking of the tips they can get from people, telling people about qualities they do not have, caressing their souls, and living their lives in the eyes of such people who live far away from Allah. These are liars. Allah does not like those who lie. Lying is the amusement of the devil's heart. Such people follow the footsteps of Shaytan by telling lies. Such people forget Allah and the Hereafter and think only of the world and what they will gain in this world. By telling people things that they would not do, they try to flatter the souls of those who live far from Allah to get tips.

What is said in the video

And there is no doubt that they say what they will not do, it says. Of course: to a person caught up in pride and arrogance, to a person who doesn't have that trait, if you say that to him, you make him proud; since that person is misguided, he follows it, and he thinks he holds a position above people, and so he looks down on people. So Allah Almighty says of them: they say things they will not do. Although people will not do it, and they themselves know he will not do it, they speak of a trait he lacks as if he would do it, and make him proud.

Do you know what a friend of Allah says about praising a person? It is cutting him with a blunt saw, he says. Yes. Because the human nafs enjoys it. Through pride and arrogance you will have cut him with a blunt saw. That is, you stain his faith, you damage it.

The poets, thinking of the tips they will wring from people, telling people about traits they don't have, flattering their nafs, winning the favor of such people who live far from Allah, and living the high life, they carry on their lives. These too are liars. Allah Almighty does not like those who lie. A lie is the amusement of the devil's heart. Such people too, by lying, follow the footsteps of the devil. Such people, forgetting Allah and the Hereafter, think only of the world and of what they will gain in the world. By telling people things they will not do, by flattering the nafs of those who live far from Allah, they try to wring out tips.
