Taa. Seen. These are verses of the Qur’an, the Book that clearly explains (the Truth)!
Tafsir
No one can give a meaning to the letters (Ta. Sin) at the beginning of the Verse. Because Allah (swt) says in the seventh verse of Surah Al-Imran: "Those who have a crookedness in their hearts seek after the mutabbih verses in it to sow sedition and to interpret it. However, only Allah knows its interpretation). So no one can give meaning to these Verses.
The Word of Allah (swt) is based on letters. When these letters come together, they form a Verse. Allah (swt) both guides us with His Verses and solves our problems by bringing us out of darkness into the light.
The Word of Allah (swt) is the Verses of the Holy Qur'an that explain the truth. The meaning of the revelation of the truth has many meanings.
In the first sense, all created beings and human beings, who are the most honorable of them all, are mentally incomplete and faulty. Allah is the complete and perfect one. In this respect, even the most honorable of creatures, humans, are mentally incomplete and need to learn the truth. In this respect, the most truthful word is the word of Allah, who is the only One who is free from all imperfect attributes. So the Qur'an is a straight Book that explains the truth.
In the second meaning, it declares that some truths are secrets, that these secrets are found in the Holy Qur'an, that some things should not be hidden from people, and that they should be known as much as Allah (swt) permits.
In a third sense, He has also revealed the secrets of creation in His verses in the Holy Qur'an, in which He says: "There is a Book in Us, which is preserved in the Levh-i Mahfuz. No additions or omissions are made to it afterwards), he has also revealed the secrets of creation in his verses of the Holy Qur'an. These are the secrets hidden in the verses of the Qur'an. The meanings after that are Allah (swt).
Some verses of the Qur'an are muhkam, which are the basis of the Book. People act according to this basis. Allah sheds light on the paths of people with these revealed verses, that is, with those verses that are understandable.
What is said in the video
Here there is a muqatta verse: Ta Sin. The verse Ta and the verse Sin, because we say Allah's word rests on letters; each of these is a verse. These are muqatta verses. No one can give them a meaning. But in Surah Al Imran, verse 7, it says those with a defect in their hearts go after these. Yes.
To the letters Ta Sin at the beginning of the verse no one can give a meaning. Let us read this first. Surah An-Naml, verse 1. Ta Sin. These are the verses of the Quran, the book that makes the truths clear, it says. They are the verses of the book that makes the truths clear. See how beautifully it puts it.
When it says verses of the book that makes clear: in the Quran there are muqatta verses and also muhkam verses. Muhkam verses are the verses by which our Lord made known the rulings of the Sharia. These are what it calls the verses that make clear. And these are muqatta verses.
No one can give a meaning to the letters Ta Sin at the beginning of the verse. Because Allah Almighty, in Surah Al Imran, verse 7: those in whose hearts is deviation, to stir up discord and to interpret it, follow its mutashabih verses. Yet none knows its interpretation but Allah, He declares.
So no one can give a meaning to these verses. Whoever, Ta Sin or Taha or Yasin, tries to give these a meaning and says they mean this or that, know that they are misguided; keep away from them. Yes, because look what it says: they follow the verses, that is, they go after its interpretation, yet none knows its interpretation but Allah.
So people who regard themselves as a leader, as someone learned, as superior to other people, saying, look, I can give these a meaning, and who, without fearing Allah or being ashamed before the Prophet, try to give these a meaning, are liars. They are misguided. Their end, too, is perilous.
The word of Allah Almighty rests on letters. These letters coming together form a verse. Allah Almighty both guides us with His verses and, bringing us out of darkness into light, resolves our difficulties.
The word of Allah Almighty is the verses of the Holy Quran, which makes the truths clear. Making the truths clear carries many meanings. In the first meaning, all created beings, and among them, created as the most honoured, the noblest of creatures, human beings too, are deficient and faulty in reason. The complete and perfect one is Allah. Therefore, since created beings, even humans, the most honoured of creation, are deficient in reason, they need to learn what is right. In this respect, the truest word is that of the One free of all imperfect attributes: the word of Allah. So the Quran is a perfectly straight book that makes the truths clear.
In the second meaning: that some truths are secrets, that these secrets are in the Holy Quran, that some things are not hidden from people, and that His knowledge can be attained as far as Allah Almighty permits — this is what it declares. In a third meaning: with Us is a book, which is preserved in the Lawh al-Mahfuz, and to it nothing is added afterwards nor taken away, He says; in this Holy Quran He has also made known the secrets of creation within its verses. These too are secrets hidden within the verses of the Quran. The meanings beyond this, Allah knows best. So some verses of the Quran are muhkam, and these are the foundation of the book; a person acts according to this foundation, people act according to this foundation.
Allah lights people's paths with these muhkam verses, that is, with the verses that can be understood.
