Translation

“Put your hand under your chest (bosom), so that it will come out as flawlessly white. (Go) to Pharaoh and his people, with nine miracles. Verily, they became a nation which has gone astray.”

Tafsir

Allah (swt) said, "O Moses! Put your hand in your bosom and it will come out white. Indeed, Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm put his hand in his bosom and it came out white. So Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' becomes convinced that he is in the presence of Allah (swt).

Go to Pharaoh with nine miracles because this people is a misguided people. When Allah (swt) destroys a people, He sends a messenger to them. He invites people who are unruly to the Truth.

Even though Allah (swt) knows that these people will not return to the Truth, the people who will perish will say to Allah (swt), who is the One who is exalted from imperfect attributes, on the Day of Reckoning, "O Lord! You sent us to a realm that is unseen. You did not inform us of Your Essence. He sends messengers and warns such unjust people, those who have gone astray, those who are fierce enemies of their own souls, so that they may not say, 'Surely, we would have listened to your Verses and not deviated from them'. But they cannot give up their natural disbelief and return to the Truth.

Allah (swt) told Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' to go to Pharaoh and his people with nine miracles. These nine miracles are as follows. Scepter, seven beyza, flood, drought, locust, tick, frog, blood, years of famine.

In addition to these, there are the miracles of the failure of the crops and the splitting of the sea. Accordingly, the miracle increases to eleven. The meaning of the verse can also be interpreted as follows.

Go to Pharaoh and his people with nine miracles besides the staff and the seven beyzas.

What is said in the video

We have come to verse 12 of Surah An-Naml. Verse 12.

Allah Almighty — let us read the verse first — "Put your hand into your bosom and let it come out flawless, pure white," He says. Now He sets the heart of Moses at ease. That is, so that he would know that the one before him is Allah, and so that He would show him His miracles. Put your hand into your bosom and let it come out flawless, pure white. Go with nine miracles to Pharaoh and his people. For they have now become a people gone astray, He says. Nine miracles.

So that Moses (peace be upon him) would be fully convinced, Allah Almighty said, "O Moses, put your hand into your bosom and let it come out pure white." Indeed, Moses (peace be upon him) puts his hand into his bosom and it comes out pure white. So Moses (peace be upon him) is convinced that he is before Allah Almighty. Here, its coming out pure white means it radiates a white light. It radiates white light. Go to Pharaoh with nine miracles, for this people is a people gone astray. Will Allah Almighty destroy a people? He always sends it a messenger first to convey the message. He has the rebellious people invited to the truth.

"Without sending a messenger to the center of a people, We do not destroy that people," says Allah Almighty. How beautifully He puts it. To its center. That is, to those at the top. Although Allah Almighty knows that these people will not return to the truth, so that the people who are to be destroyed may not say to Allah Almighty, who is free of all deficient attributes, on that Day of Reckoning: "O Lord, You sent us into a lost world, You did not make Your Being known to us. If in this lost world You had made us aware of Your Being, if You had warned us, we would surely have listened to Your verses and not strayed from them" — for this reason He sends to such wrongdoing peoples, to those gone astray, to those who are most fiercely hostile to their own nafs, messengers and warns them.

But they cannot give up the denial in their (?) and return to the truth. So Allah Almighty said to Moses (peace be upon him): go to the rebellious and astray Pharaoh and his people with nine miracles. These nine miracles are as follows: the staff, yed-i beyza, the flood, drought, locusts, ticks, frogs, blood, the years of famine.

Nine miracles.

The staff, one. One of them (?), probably. White, he said — yed-i beyza. Yed-i beyza, a white beyza. What does that make? Two. The flood three, drought four, locusts five, ticks six, frogs seven, blood eight, the years of famine nine.

Accordingly, the miracles rise to eleven. The translation of the verse, however, can be interpreted as follows. Go to Pharaoh and his people with nine miracles apart from the staff and yed-i beyza, it is said. Yes.
