Tafsir
Hadrat Solomon 'alaihis-salâm' was the heir of his father Dawud 'alaihis-salâm' in Prophethood. When Hadrat Solomon 'alaihis-salâm' became a Prophet, Allah (swt) bestowed some sciences upon him. He taught Solomon to speak the language of birds and some animals.
There is no time for Allah (swt). Allah (swt) can guide people in an instant if He wills. Allah, Who created the worlds with knowledge, has programmed all His creations for the tasks they will perform. Since the Holy Qur'an is addressed to the ages, and our age is the age of computers, we will learn how Allah (swt) guides His creatures in an instant by giving an example through these computers.
Consider a computer. If you install various programs on this computer, you can perform specific operations on these programs. And because this computer recognizes these programs, you are able to perform operations on these programs.
Allah (swt) has programmed all creatures with a few characters so that they can communicate among themselves. With these characters, they have acquired a language to speak among themselves. Since all creatures are loaded with the works they will do with their characters at birth and the conversations they will have with each other, and their programs are clear, they know themselves, as if they have had experience and know these works, without learning the conversations or the works they will do from each other.
If Allah (swt) informs His creatures of what He is going to do with these animals at birth, then when He places the same program in human memory, human beings will be aware of the speech of these animals in an instant. The more Allah Ta'ala loads the speech programs of various animals into the human memory, the more the human being becomes familiar with the speech of these animals.
Allah (swt) also gave Hazrat Solomon the program of speaking to as many animals as He willed, and Hazrat Solomon was able to speak to these animals.
These are the miracles of Allah. By proving that Allah has knowledge, that He exists, that He created the whole universe, how He programmed His creations, that there is no other God but Him, that His creatures were created by His Essence, that He is aware of their condition, and that He has imposed on a human being tasks that a human being or a created being cannot do, Allah proves His existence and His absolute ownership of the worlds.
Allah proves His existence with various miracles in a way that people can understand. Of course, it is a lesson for those who can see and understand, for those who use their minds. Allah says: "Thousands of miracles occur before your eyes every day and you do not see them, you are blind".
Allah (swt) proves His existence to mankind through the miracles He gave to Prophet Solomon (peace be upon him), and He never ceases to show them miracles so that they may return to the Essence of Allah (swt). Hadrat Sulayman 'alaihis-salâm' used to say praise be to Allah that we are superior to many of His believing servants.
Believers are the people who have reached Nafsi Mutmainnah, who have realized the revelations, and who cannot return to disbelief. Praise be to Allah that we are superior to Hadrat Dawud (peace be upon him), Hadrat Solomon (peace be upon him) and many of His believing servants. They thanked Allah (swt) for giving us this Prophethood and bringing us closer to Him.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 16 of Surah An-Naml. Solomon inherited from David and said, O people! We have been taught the language of birds, and of everything a share has been given to us. Truly, this is a manifest grace, it says. Allah Almighty gives as much as He wills.
As much as He wills. To whom He wills, He gives as much as He wills. Solomon (peace be upon him) became, in prophethood, the heir of his father David (peace be upon him). When Solomon (peace be upon him) became a prophet, Allah Almighty granted him, too, certain kinds of knowledge. The language of birds and speaking with some animals He taught to Solomon. For Allah Almighty there is no concept of time. If Allah Almighty wills, He guides people in an instant. That is, Allah, who created the worlds with knowledge, has programmed all His creatures according to the duties they will carry out. Now, here such a statement appears.
If Allah Almighty wills, He guides people in an instant. How does He guide? Each of our wishes and desires, our aims, whatever we have wished for, our characters, our speech, even before we came into the world, were first programmed in the brain. Ready.
When He opens it instantly, even if you are in swaddling clothes, even if newborn, you speak. Like Jesus. This was programmed beforehand, and He opens Jesus' speech memory. And what does he say? I am fasting today; point to the child, she says. She brings the child to her people, you see. And he says, I will, by Allah's permission, come to you as a messenger, he says. I am a servant of Allah. When Jesus speaks there, the people are astonished. So, as it says, If Allah Almighty wills, He guides people in an instant, He opens you to unveiling, shows you those worlds, and that load, the load that was loaded, the memory, you grasp all at once. And in this way, through the openness of unveiling, you are guided.
Yes.
Allah, who created the worlds with knowledge, has programmed all His creatures according to the duties they will carry out. Since the Quran addresses all ages, and since our age is the computer age, I said that, by giving an example with computers, we will learn how Allah Almighty points to His creations in an instant. Now, I explained it briefly; here I go into some detail. Take a computer: if you load various programs onto this computer, then on these programs you can carry out operations specific to those programs. Since this computer recognizes these programs, in carrying out operations on these programs you become (?).
Allah Almighty, too, so that all creatures may understand one another, has programmed them with a (?) character. With these characters they have come to possess a language in which they can talk among themselves. For all creatures, the work they will do with these characters from birth, and the conversations by which they will understand one another, have been loaded, and since their programs are very clear, without learning the speech or the work from one another, as if they had gained experience and knew these tasks, they know them by themselves. You see, an animal is born and immediately gets up to its mother's udder, or immediately crouches down and shields itself to escape from that creature.
Well, who teaches you this? You were just born. You know nothing about anything. Well, if Allah Almighty, for this animal, makes known from birth the work it will do in life like this to His creature, then when He places the same program in human memory, people too become aware of these animals' speech in an instant. However many programs of the speech of various animals Allah Almighty loads into human memory, to that extent people come to know these animals' speech. So Allah Almighty loaded into Solomon (peace be upon him), too, as much as He willed, the animals' speech programs, and Solomon was able to talk with these animals.
Well, as I said earlier, what we will do and our memory are also determined. What we will do? That is why there is not a single living being to come until the Day of Judgment whose deeds We do not know, according to the verse. All are programmed. So why did He send us to this world like that? Although Allah Almighty knows, Surah Ta-Ha, verse 134, the verse I always remind you of. They, it says, if We had wished, We would have destroyed them with a punishment, it says. We would have destroyed them with a punishment. They too would have said, it says: if You had sent us to a (?) world, if You had sent us prophets and books, we would have worshipped You.
That is why Allah Almighty sends us to this world. So now, here is the challenge: in a world where He is not seen anyway, what kind of person we are we prove to Allah Almighty. We prove it both to ourselves and to those around us. Now, in this case, if Allah Almighty opens that program of ours from birth, we too will speak like Jesus.
These are the miracles of Allah Almighty. That Allah possesses knowledge and that Allah created the whole universe, how He created the created beings, how He programmed them, that there is no other god besides Him, that the creatures He created were created by His Essence; being aware of their state, by loading onto a human being things that a mortal or created beings cannot do, Allah thereby proves His existence and that He is the absolute owner of the worlds, in this case, in this case, to people.
So, Allah, in a way people can understand, His Essence, His existence, through various miracles proves. Of course, for those who see and can understand these, who use their reason, it is a lesson. Allah Almighty makes thousands of miracles appear before your eyes every day; you do not see them, (?). So Allah Almighty, through the miracles He gave Solomon (peace be upon him), proves to people His existence, and so that people may turn to Allah's Essence, miracles He never refrains from showing them.
Solomon (peace be upon him), too, would say: for our being superior to many of His believing servants, praise be to Allah. Believers are people who have risen to the contented self, who have come to know the divine manifestations, who have no return to kufr ever again. So David (peace be upon him), too, and Solomon (peace be upon him): for our being superior to many of His believing servants, praise be to Allah. That is, because He granted us prophethood, because our covenant was good, because our Lord (?), to Allah Almighty he gives thanks. For our being superior to many of His believing servants, praise be to Allah. To Allah, who gave us this prophethood and brought us ever closer to His Essence, praise and glory be, they said, giving thanks to Allah Almighty.
