Tafsir
When a single ant protected the other ants with compassion, Hadrat Suleiman 'alaihis-salâm' was moved and said, "O my Lord! Enable me to be grateful for the blessings You have given me and my parents and to do good deeds that You will be pleased with. He said, 'By Your mercy, make me one of Your good servants.
When Hadrat Solomon (peace be upon him) says, "Include us among your good servants", he means: "Praise be to Allah that we are superior to many of His believing servants". The superiority over the servants of the believers is a station given by Allah to His Prophets. Since the Prophet (PBUH) said in his hadith that the guardian of my ummah is like the Prophet of the tribe of Israel, and since there will be no more Prophets after the Prophet (PBUH), and since Allah (swt) will not leave this world without scholars, the scholars He brings out from the Muhammad Ummah are people who are like the Prophet of the tribe of Israel. Above these scholars are the Prophets.
Here, Imam al-Ghazali narrates the following incident in his book ihyayi ulumuddin. Hadrat Musa alayhis salaam in spirit says to the Prophet (s.a.w.): "O Rasulallah! You said that the guardian of my ummah is equal to the people of Israel. Can you show me how this is? Thereupon, our Prophet (s.a.w.) sent Hazrat Imam al-Ghazali in spirit to Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm'.
Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) says, who are you? Imam al-Ghazali then begins to list and list his seven qualities and says, "I am this". Then Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' said to Hadrat Imam al-Ghazali, "This is not what you said. Why didn't you tell me directly that I am so-and-so? Imam al-Ghazali then says to Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm'. Allah (swt) said to you, O Moses! When he said, "What is that in your hand?" why didn't you say, "This is my staff," but you said, "This is my staff," after singing many songs, saying, "With this I protect myself, with this I gather grass from the trees for my animals.
Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' said to Hazrat Imam al-Ghazali, "It was Allahu ta'âlâ who asked me this question. I prolonged His question in order to stay longer in His presence. Then Hazrat Imam al-Ghazali said to Hazrat Moses, "You are also a Prophet of Allah. So I prolonged my words to stay longer in your presence and to introduce myself to you.
Upon this, Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' said to the Prophet (SAW), "Saddak ya Rasulallah.
Yes, the scholars in the ummah of the Prophet (SAW) are like the Prophet of the tribe of Beni Israel. After these scholars realize the manifestation in the Nafsi Mutmainnede, they become ilmel close and become the recipients of the verse verrasihu. They enter the door of that knowledge, which they call ulul elbab, by being kneaded with the knowledge of Allah.
These scholars are of the caliber of the Prophet of the tribe of Israel. Hazrat Suleiman's saying "Praise be to Allah, we are superior to many of His believing servants" shows his submission to Him by asking for Allah's help in order to be grateful for the status that Allah has bestowed upon him.
Because of his submission to Allah (swt) and his love and affection for Allah (swt), he prayed to Allah (swt) and said, "O my Lord, make me capable of doing good deeds that you will be pleased with," and he asked Allah (swt) to make him capable of doing good deeds that Allah (swt) would be pleased with, so that he would not do anything that Allah (swt) would not be pleased with, and he expressed his submission by thanking Allah (swt) for the Prophethood and the knowledge of bird language that had been bestowed upon him.
It is for the sake of proving that the Holy Qur'an is the Word of Allah that Allah (swt) narrates in the Holy Qur'an what happened to the people of the past as vividly as it is now.
What is said in the video
Surah An-Naml, verse 19. Solomon, because of her words, smiled and said: O my Lord, for what You gave both to me and to my mother and father, enable me to be thankful for the blessing, and to do good deeds that will please You, it says. What does it say? O my Lord, enable me, for the blessing You gave both to me and to my mother and father, to give thanks, and to do good deeds that will please You, it says. By Your mercy, admit me among Your righteous servants. Although he is a prophet, he (?).
Now, given that they, even though they are prophets, pray like this, we, like ants on the ground, before our Lord should be in prostration, and we would not even dare to look Him in the face, if they pray like this.
Seeing a single ant compassionately protect the other ants, Solomon (peace be upon him) was moved and said: O my Lord! Enable me to give thanks for the blessing You gave both to me and to my mother and father, and to do good deeds that will please You. By Your mercy, admit me among Your righteous servants, he said. He now takes a lesson from an ant. By Solomon (peace be upon him) saying, admit us among Your righteous servants, and saying, for our being superior to many of His believing servants, praise be to Allah, he means the following. Above the believing servants is a rank that Allah gives to His prophets.
With the hadith in which the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, the (?) of my ummah is like a prophet of the Children of Israel, since after the Prophet (peace be upon him) no prophet will ever come again, and Allah Almighty will not leave this world without scholars, the scholars He brings forth from the ummah of Muhammad are, too, people of the caliber of the prophets of the Children of Israel. Above these scholars are the prophets.
Here, from Imam al-Ghazali, in the Ihya Ulum al-Din, the following incident is related. O Messenger of Allah: spiritually, Moses (peace be upon him) says to the Prophet (peace be upon him) the following. O Messenger of Allah, you said: the saint of my ummah is of the caliber of the people of the Children of Israel. Can you show me how this is? he said. Thereupon the Prophet (peace be upon him) spiritually sent Imam al-Ghazali to Moses (peace be upon him). Moses (peace be upon him) says: Who are you? Thereupon Imam al-Ghazali begins to enumerate his (?). And says, I am such-and-such. Thereupon Moses (peace be upon him) to Imam al-Ghazali says: what you said like this was not proper.
Why did you not tell me in short, I am so-and-so? he asks. Thereupon Imam al-Ghazali says to Moses (peace be upon him): When Allah Almighty said to you, O Moses, what is in your hand?, why did you not say, it is my staff, but instead said, with it I protect myself, with it, for my animals, fodder from the trees I (?), and after many words you said, this is my staff? Moses (peace be upon him) to Imam al-Ghazali: The one who asked me this question was Allah Almighty. To remain longer in His presence, I drew out His question, he says. Thereupon Imam al-Ghazali, too, to Moses (peace be upon him): You too are a prophet of Allah.
I too, to remain longer in your presence and to introduce myself to you, drew out my words this much, he says. Thereupon Moses (peace be upon him), to the Prophet (peace be upon him), said: sadakte ya Resulallah. Yes, the scholars in the ummah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) are like the prophets of the Children of Israel. These scholars, after coming to know the divine manifestations in the nafs al-mutma'inna, reaching the state of ilmelyakîn, become recipients of the verse Ve'r-râsihûne. Shaped by Allah's knowledge, they enter through the door of that knowledge He calls Ulü'l-elbab. These scholars are of the caliber of the prophets of the Children of Israel.
Solomon, too, in saying, for our being superior to many of His believing servants, praise be to Allah, in order to render the thanks for the rank Allah Almighty bestowed on him, asked Allah Almighty for help, and so showed his submission to Him. Ender, one answer to your question is also beautifully explained here. Yes, out of his submission to Allah Almighty and his love and affection for Allah, entreating Allah Almighty, O my Lord, enable me to do good deeds that will please You; by saying this, so as to do nothing that would not please Allah Almighty, in deeds Allah Almighty is pleased with he asked Him to make him successful, and with what was bestowed on him, prophethood and the knowledge of the language of birds, giving thanks to Allah Almighty, he put his submission into words.
So Allah Almighty has told in the Quran what befell past peoples, as vividly as if it were now. That the Quran is the word of Allah: this is to prove it, it says. Yes.
